- "Believe the Unseen" was originally called "Perceptive Impurity" and had different lyrics and vocal lines from Dickie Allen and Aaron Stechauner's time in the band, and is rather tellingly the most deathcore-leaning track on Casuistry.
- "Mutation" was originally planned for Ikigai (as Travis Bartosek had alluded to a song featuring both Ray Jimenez and Dickie Allen on his personal social media), but it didn't make the cut and was refitted for A Universal Plague: Mutation.
