Prologue

Day 1 [pp. 1-2]

  • In the year 2382, HarkArk launched the mother ship called the Archius XI.
  • Its starting crew consists of: Captain Jeremy Spacehawk, Senior Enforcer and Weapons Technician Lion, Enforcer Varn Merner, Genetics Scientist Arthur Beasley, Doctor Joseph Heilburg, Scientist Jordon Freeman, Chief Engineer Kr'fernir, Computer Engineer and Electronic Warfare Specialist Dolosus Zushiki, Maintenance Technician Yanim Sidikan, Robotics Issac Devol, Master Chef Otso Rottal, Food Critic François D'arragant, Hair Dresser Pyrovik Bjordizane, Bartender Dwan Theidrum-Ascedor, Pet Keeper Saint Tussor, Janitor Byron and Gardener Zach Bringer.
  • Once the Archius entered space, a fade noise was heard on a nearby screen. On the screen appears Harken Saw, who tells them their objectives. The crew's first objective is to deliver a piece of an object called the Oracle to Termina Central.
  • The crew begins to interact following Saw's message.
  • Arthur is named temporary Head of Science by Jeremy.

Pirate Arc

Day 1 [pp. 2-11]

  • As the crew has settled in and met one another, the Archius XI enters through a civilian sector.
  • A pirate frigate spots the Archius alone in space from a distance. Its captain, Colonel Bruta, commands his crew to get closer to the Archius and demand its crew hand over their loot to them.
  • Jeremy notices the pirate frigate and, through the speakers, alerts the crew that there is an unknown ship nearby.
  • Some crew members begin to check their weaponry/arm themselves, in case the ship was a foe.
  • On the bridge, plans are suggested in case the ship was a foe, which includes firing apoptosis at the foe.
  • The Tainted Raiders' ship locks on to the Archius ship with blinkers in place. A sound-only transmission is sent to the Archius, confirming that they are in fact foes.
  • The Tainted Raiders sends in its men. A group of them enter the ship through the hangar bay, while another teleports into the ship, leading them to enter through the storage room.
    • Lion is the first to engage the pirates, being nearby the hangar. He rolls a 9, as he kills one of the pirates.
    • Dolosus floated up the elevator shaft from the armory into the gymnasium, followed by Jeremy going down the elevator to the gymnasium.
    • Dolosus rolled a 1, leading him to get shot in the right shoulder. As one of the Head Pirates held on to a strange looking box, Jeremy rolled a 9, as he stabs a pirate and shots another in the head, killing both.
    • Jeremy throws a smoke grenade at the pirates, rolling a 6 as he got to cover.
    • Lion gets into cover, as one of the pirates decides to go toe to toe with a makeshift plasma-baton in hand. Rolling a 4, the two continue to fight.
    • Joseph and Dwan to go the elevator with plans of defending the top floor, as the two begin to set up a makeshift tripwire trap with two smoke grenades.
    • Lion grabs the hand of the pirate he was fighting and rotates his own hand 360 degrees, breaking the pirate's hand. The pirate falls down onto the floor crying in pain before finishing him off. He takes cover, trying to evade the plasma fire from another pirate.
    • Jeremy rolls a 9 as he shoots the Head Pirate with the box, shooting him in the crotch and crippling him.
    • Kr throws a frantic order to build some sentries as he hefts his coilgun, ready to defend the engine bay.
    • As Lion hit another pirate in the leg, the rest of the pirates managed to hack the door console of the hangar. To their surprise, the door lock remained red and the hangar shields were lowered, sending the majority of them out into space, alongside their dropship. Three seasoned members of the squad however managed to get their magboots work in time. Lion attempts to fire at them, but the shots miss as they hide behind the crates for cover. Rolling a 3, the pirates begin to pressure Lion, as they began to engage him one by one.
    • Yanim armed herself and made her way to the elevator, where she eventually met up with Dwan and Joseph.
    • Joseph puts on an armor vest for protection, as the group of 3 goes down the elevator to help Lion.
    • Dolosus, wounded by battle, is stuck floating in the middle of the elevator shaft. He notices that people are going down the elevator and tries to use his communicator to ask for help, but it was broke. Rolling a 8, he manages to fit into a small groove at the bottom of the shaft, as he avoided being crushed by the elevator.
    • Arriving at the bottom, the group arrives at the hangar bay, as Joseph throws a vintage M24 grenade, followed by the group jumped into cover. Rolling a 2, the grenade didn't explode.
    • Dolosus manages to wriggle into the elevator through its floor panel and sneaks into the medical bay.
    • Rolling a 2, Joseph began firing at the pirates, as two of them were suppressing fire. One of the pirates begins to aim for Joseph's head until Yanim fires at the thrown antique grenade, rolling a 8, causing it to explode and blow up the two pirates, most likely saving Joseph's life.
    • After Joseph thanked Yanim, he threw a smuggled smoke grenade at the remaining pirates and, rolling a 7, catches the pirates off-guard, as they had no idea they were about to get ambushed.
    • Dolosus pinched out the shrapnel from his shoulder and bandaged himself up. He kicked a steel operating table and took cover behind it, as he braced the gun over the table and fired with his left hand. Rolling a 4, he barely hits any of the smoke covered targets, as his accuracy with his left hand was rather poor.
    • Seeing an opportunity, Lion sends a deafening sound towards the pirates before rushing towards them at a alarming speed. Rolling a 10, he snapped the neck of one pirate. One pirate went up and attempted to shoot him, backfiring completely when he grabbed the shotgun off her hands and melee'd her on the ground, knocking her out. The remaining pirate, believing the battle has gone in favor to them, commits suicide by shooting himself in the head. The battle on the Hangar was won.
    • Lion, Joseph, Yanim, Dwan, Dolosus and Jordon imprison the knocked-out pirate, before heading into the elevator to go and help in the battle in the storage room.
    • The elevator reaches the mid-level, as Lion hands Joseph a stungun. The group storms into the storage room. Dwan aims his revolver at one of the pirates, rolling a 7 and hitting one in the leg.
    • Lion lets out a gruesome robotic scream before spearheading into the market, firing two salvos of plasma at the enemy. Rolling a 8, the pirated wounded by Dwan receives a buttload of servo in the torso, dying a few short seconds later.
    • Joseph fired his stungun at the last pirate standing who was firing off plasma. Rolling a 3, the stun round wasn't enough to completely knock him out.
    • Jordon attempts to fire at the pirate. Rolling a 1, he missed. As the last pirate was determined enough to finish someone off, he aimed down and took a shot at Jordon, hitting him in the leg.
    • Lion fired another set of rounds towards the last standing pirate. Rolling a 7, he pierced the pirate's shoulder clean off and tore away an arm as he died. The skirmish around the ship has finally ended. The only captured pirates were the crippled Head Pirate and the knocked out female.
  • As the group decides on what to do with the captives, one special thing that caught the eye of the Captain was the glowing ball laying before them there like some artifact.
  • The team brings the captives and artifact to the bridge, as they interrogate the Head Pirate. After DomeEval confirmed that he was lying about the artifact, he reveals that Colonel Bruta requested that they steal it.
  • A transmission request from the pirates was sent to the Archius. Jeremy answers it, finally meeting Bruta. He tells them that they are outgunned and requests the artifact along with everything else they have. He gives them an hour to answer him. The crew begins to formulate a plan in the bridge.
  • Meanwhile, at the bar, crew from all over the ship began crowding it, shouting and fighting over drinks. Not before long, every last alcoholic drink vanished, every drop from the taps used up. Dwan returned to his bar to see it in shambles, as he enters a slight fit of rage. Dwan, using bar equipment that can be used to trace every person who's been in the bar, discovers who was in the bar and bans them all for a month along with a bill for the drinks they had drunk and for property damage.
  • Jeremy decides on a plan. He plans on challenging Bruta in a game of Russian Roulette. Kr attempts to suggest a plan to bomb the pirates, but Jeremy rejects it. An argument between the two happens.
  • Jeremy requests a transmission from Bruta, who accepts it. Jeremy challenges Bruta to Russian Roulette, who accepts the challenge because of his honor.
  • Bruta arrives at the ship, entering the hangar bay. He sees Jeremy surrounded by the bodies of his pirates. Bruta pulls out a large hand cannon and the two set up a table. Bruta carefully placed one armor piercing bullet into the cylinder, as the two played. As they play, Jeremy asks Bruta about his past, as he finds out who Bruta's employers are. The Crimson Son.
  • The game of Russian Roulette ends in Bruta's favor, as Jeremy's head received a bullet hole through his skull. No one heard, saw, nor felt the scene but Kr through a monitor.
  • Lion, detecting gunfire, heads to the hangar to find the gruesome scene.
  • Out of nowhere, Jeremy pops out with a gun wound on his head, rushing from under the table and knocking out Bruta. He then shoots Bruta in the head and cuts his head off. With Lion following him, he takes the head to the bridge and shows it to the pirates, who retreat. Arthur enters the bridge to congratulate him.
  • The three enter the bar, as Jeremy tells Kr that his plan would work. Kr tells him that he was going to go through with his own plan anyway. Yanim notices the blood gushing from Jeremy's gun wound.
  • Jeremy reveals that he had Arthur clone him. He used the clone for the game of Russian Roulette, but side-effects have led him to get the same wound on his head, albeit only as a flesh wound, and the merging of the two's memories.
  • Jeremy hands over Bruta's head to Arthur.
  • Arthur asks DomeEval if they can locate the pirate ships. Rolling a 4, it is revealed that they are already gone.
  • Varn wakes up from a alcohol-induced sleep, making his way to the armory. He finds out Lion is Leon Eastlindht and becomes extremely nervous, due to him being a mercenary. He sees him enter and shows his badge to avoid being kicked off, but Lion tells him to stand down, confused by him.
  • Dwan and Yanim enter the armory and bring their weaponry for a check-up. Lion began analyzing and scanning both Dwan's and Yanim's weaponry. He then ran some diagnostics, before touching up the weapons, making them look near-factory new. When done, he packed them down into two separate weapon cases, which would be eventually retrieved by their respective owners.
  • After that, Lion started going through the combat footage, analyzing the behavior and tactics of his fellow crewmates. He then began designing weapons for his new family.
  • Arthur successfully cloned Bruta, albeit drooling from the mouth. He goes to Jeremy, suggesting that they could turn him in and get a reward.
  • By suggestion of DomeEval, Jeremy has the ship set course for Rigel, to pick up new members. He also requests that it update him on the orb scanning.
  • The results of the orb scanning reveal that it is in fact a piece of the Oracle, possibly its internal source, causing Jeremy to react.
  • Jeremy goes to get surgery from both Arthur and Joseph for the flesh wound on his head, lasting 6 hours. He places Kr in command for the time being.
  • Otso decides to celebrate the victory over the pirates by make all special lunches free for the entire day. Crew members that aren't busy go to the mess hall to eat, meeting up with Otso in the process.
  • The ship begins to approach and land on Rigel. Meanwhile, in a dark and very silent room, Harken Saw is in a business meeting with his colleagues.
  • Following the surgery, Joseph goes to check up on the captives. The female pirate awoke, trying to stay away from the doctor. Varn and Jeremy soon arrive to the Bridge.
  • Through the intercom, Lion announces to Jeremy that he has made personalized weapons for the crew. Jeremy soon announces it to the crew through the speakers.

Bug Hunt Arc

Day 2 [pp. 11-36]

  • As morning came by to the crew, some went out to pick up the new crew members on the docks, some members stayed on the ship by choice. On Rigel, an advertisement was being shown regarding a PMC called the Helix Corps, talking about an mining expedition on Rigel.
  • Crew members begin to head to the bridge to see the personalized weaponry created by Lion. Arthur in particular went to his lab to pick up the tied-up docile Bruta before heading to the bridge.
  • Iska and Viper meet in the docking station cantina.
  • Once enough crew members gathered up in the bridge, Lion introduced them to the Lion War Armory's Archius Arsenal Version One. He gives Dwan the LWA Texas Ranger, Yanim the Type 1 Support Carbine, Joseph & Arthur the LWA Pathogen Gun, Kr & Isaac the LWA Nanite Glove, Dolosus the LWA Class 1 Railgun aka the Reaper and Jeremy the LWA Hawk.
  • Viper carries a passed out Iska to the docking station to find the Archius Crew.
  • The Archius Crew goes out to find its new members, while Varn goes to the local mercenary outpost to report to my bosses and Arthur goes to take Bruta to the Exchange.
  • Engineer Iska Volgrim, Head of Security Viper Solari and Enforcer Derrick "Sledge" Hammer join the crew.
  • Jeremy goes to the Staff Market to get more more Engineering personnel.
  • Once Arthur turned Bruta in to the authorities, he meets up with Perra Clarke. She tells him that there is going to be a bug hunt called the Inquisition, sponsored by Helix Corps in order to eradicate the deadly bugs that infest the underground of Rigel. With a payout of 20 million credits, she offers him a deal to work together and split the money 50/50. He tells her he'll discuss it with his captain, before heading back to the ship.
  • Joseph sees the clone of the female pirate waking up. Restrained on the table, she tries to resist. Jordon comes in as Joseph begins implanting the heart of a mega baboon inside her without anesthesia.
  • Jeremy buys 5 Engineers at the Staff Market. He then heads into the regular market to get Lion 3 box sets of Xiv-Tech Supplies, before heading back to the ship.
  • Iska wakes up on the ship, unaware it's the Archius. She ends up holding Varn at gunpoint though a misunderstanding until Jeremy barges in.
  • Arthur and Jeremy discuss Clarke's offer. After DomeEval reveals that they only have enough credits for two weeks at best, they decide to take the offer. Arthur comms her, telling her they are taking her offer. He asks her for info on the bugs they'll be fighting, in order to think of a biological solution that can effect their body structures effectively. She pulled up some basic info on the Screechers.
  • Meanwhile, Harken Saw scheduled himself a trip to Termina Central, in order to meet the crew. Following that, he kills a man in cold blood.
  • Joseph finishes his vivisection, heart transplant, bone separation and decapitation experiment.
  • Lion calls Varn, Jordon and Yanim to come to the armory. He gives Jordon the LWA HEW and LWA ZGMD, Varn the LWA Boom-Box and Yanim a redone version of the weapon he gave her earlier.
  • Jeremy tells Arthur that he's going to join the bug hunt mission. Jeremy then uses the speakers to inform the crew that they will soon be leaving for the mission and that anyone interested should come to the bridge. As more and more people gather up, equipping themselves for the mission, Jeremy tells everyone to go to the hangar where their dropship is.
  • Once enough people gathered up in the hangar, Arthur begins his presentation regarding the mission, discussing the Screechers they'll be facing, especially the Screecher Queen, and their overall weakness, fire. He reveals 20 vials of a liquid that he has named Wildfire, designed to be effective against the Screechers.
  • Arthur, Jeremy, Lion, Varn, Viper, Iska, Yanim, Dwan and Sledge enter Roughrider as they head to Sanctum Outpost. They stop at a trade post on the way to acquire some crossbows. Arthur and Dwan go and buy 12 crossbows. Afterwards, they return to the ship.
  • The group arrives at Sanctum Outpost, meeting up with Perra's Crew. Varn notices many mercenary groups at the outpost and sees his ex, Yanim meets up with other kanads, Iska interacts with another khergian called Bubal, Dwan is unnerved by a group of Gold Dust slaves known as the Golden Wave and Perra reveals that the main goal of the Inquisition is to kill the Screecher Queen.
  • A sudden deep voice popped from the announcement speaker on top of the outpost, announcing that the Inquisition has begun, explaining its rules.
  • The group got back into Roughrider and followed Perra's ship to the center of cold tundra, where they decide to land next to a large sinkhole that looks like some swirl floors could take them underground by foot.
  • Lion decides to set up a crane platform with Yanim's help.
  • Large Homkah trucks built for cargo with large doubled barreled cannons at their top hull arrive thanks to Perra.
  • Lion secures Varn to the crane with the cable, strapping on a small harness on his upper body. Just as they were about to rappel down, Perra stops them, telling them she already knew how to get in. She forces a crew member of hers called Wazowski to set up explosives until the explosive are somehow detonated, killing Wazowski and alerting the Screechers. Everyone is forced to fight as the first wave began.
    • Lion was quick to draw, as he fired at the Screechers. Rolling a 9, he blew them away one by one as the AP rounds tore them apart.
    • Varn threw a incendiary grenade at them. Rolling a 5, it combusted in a fiery of rage but for some reason didn't really deal as much damage as he was told it would. He switches to his Boom-Box, firing it at a Screecher from the front, hitting it but only pissing it off more.
    • Viper took out its machine rifle and began firing it at the closest Screecher. Rolling a 5, it rolled on its back from the force, attempting to roll back up, as a set of the bugs began crawling towards Viper.
    • Dwan, with his goggles down, pulled the artillery section of his Howitzer onto his left shoulder and activated it. As it is set on fire mode, flames start to come out of the artillery, just like a flamethrower. Rolling a 7, the scorching flames after some multiple uses finally killed some of the Screechers, as he used his modified Bellevue Ancaria revolver to one off a Screecher coming towards him.
    • Arthur loaded his crossbow with some arrows and focused on them. Rolling a 10, he fired his arrows towards the group of Screechers heading Viper's way and killed them instantly.
    • Varn aimed his Boom-Box at a Screecher charging towards him, aiming for the head. Rolling a 1, he fired a few shots, but he missed miserably. The amount of Screechers were coming closer and closer and increasingly bad, as he possibly needed to ask for help.
    • Jeremy aimed his gun at them, hoping to hit them. Rolling a 8, he proceeded to kill as many bugs as he could.
    • Jeremy then notices that Varn was in trouble and aimed at the Screechers headed his way. Rolling a 7, he shot at each one, causing them to roll on their backs.
    • A mounted gun sprang from the hole, as Perra began manning it. Bubal welded his fine plasma axe, clenching it and halved a Screecher.
    • Yanim fired several plasma bursts at a Screecher. Rolling a 4, she misses completely.
    • Arthur began firing his crossbow at Screechers that were giving his teammates trouble. Rolling a 9, he noticed Yanim was in trouble, so he fired his crossbow and pierced the Screecher's shell, killing the nasty bugger.
    • Iska noticed that the cooling fan in her Jorvu was glowing red, she gathered some saliva and spat into the spinning, glowing fan. Rolling a 9, her saliva along with some basic spit managed to keep the glowing fan up and running once more, to her pleasant surprise.
    • Viper reloaded its machine gun with AP rounds and began firing at an oncoming wave of Screechers. Rolling a 3, she missed every shot to its dismay.
    • Lion fired at an Elder Screecher. Rolling a 6, it didn't react to the shot, seemingly shrugging it off like nothing.
    • Varn started laying down suppressing fire on the Screechers. Rolling a 10, he killed any bug that he saw within his reach.
    • The amount of bugs in the first wave was eventually decreasing to the point of victory towards both crews. Everyone had a part in killing.
    • Yanim fired at a Screecher at near point blank range. Rolling a 9, she kills it with a few rounds.
    • Lion fired at the Elder Screecher once more. He scanned his ultimate target and slowly pulled the trigger until he was sure he was confident. Rolling a 2, the round went out towards the Elder Screecher, only barely pierced through the creature's shell.
    • Dwan continues to use his Howitzer's fire mode. Rolling a 6, he blazed the crap out of any Screecher he found crawling at him.
    • Sledge swinged his hammer at the Screechers. Rolling a 3, the closest Screecher noticed the large hammer and attempted to gnaw on it like some big t-bone steak, leading to the two to fight over it like animals. Sledge returned several minutes later, carrying his hammer and missing a shoe.
    • Viper breaks its crossbow when attempting to use it and switches back to its machine gun, firing it at the Screechers, specifically the Elder Screecher. Rolling a 8, at least a dozen of Screechers were killed. The amount of Screechers came to a halt once the Elder Screecher realized that it was outgunned, as it began to crawl far away from the crews.
    • Seeing the Elder Screecher crawl away, Varn decides to take a shot at it. One shot of plasma is shot, eventually hitting the Elder Screecher's behind. Although it barely reacted, small dips of goo blood began dropping on the rocky floor, leaving a trail. The first wave is over.
  • Iska took the time to apply the cooling gel onto Jorvu in peace and quiet. The rest of the crew was restocking on ammo.
  • Meanwhile, back at the Archius, Dolosus and Joseph were watching Galactic Gear on the big screen.
  • Back at the cave, Varn points out a trail that could lead them to the queen.
  • Dolosus sends the cave group a message, asking if there was any way to help them. Lion linked him to one of the hover-sentries to control.
  • Perra hears Varn's suggestion and gives the go ahead. Varn asks Lion if he could have one of the hover-sentries cover him. Lion allows it, as he disappears into the shadows.
  • The crews went deeper into the deeper parts of the cave, following the gooey trail the Elder Screecher left behind after escaping. It wouldn't take long, but people started to feel like these creatures were watching them as they went. Screecher eggs started appearing by a variety, as they realized things were gonna get worse if they stayed too long.
  • The Elder Screecher appears out of nowhere, albeit scarred, displaying its toughness. As Perra raised her gun at the beast, the crews would found out why they were called Screechers. The Elder screeched from the top of the cave, signaling its brethren to join the fight. Screechers came out of the walls by the dozen and more and more were showing up.
    • Dolosus realizes that might not actually know the controls and tries to learn by attempting to shoot a bug. Rolling a 9, he tried his best to even control it. Luckily, this proved efficient as the drone activated its shooting processors and shot the bug he was trying to get.
    • Lion decloaks, as he strikes at the bugs. Rolling a 10, his guerrilla warfare went off without a hitch, slicing a bug in half at high speed.
    • Dwan decides to use his Howitzer's fire mode once more, as he tried to one-hand his three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun. Rolling a 1, his Howitzer ends up jamming before him.
    • Varn switches his Boom-Box to full auto and started shooting hot plasma at the Screechers to give Iska some breathing room. Rolling a 8, he successfully managed to hold the buggers off.
    • Iska began charging her LMG plasma beam, as the sound eventually got so immense that Iska could only hear her heart beating. Despite this being the first time using the beam, she was determined to kill the Elder Screecher. As she pulled the trigger, it was like time stopped for her with a shining green and white light blinding her. She couldn't see anything, but she could feel how the recoil pushed her back, as she tumbled on the ground. After spinning around, she felt something blunt to the back of her head. The blinding light was flickered before going dark, as the ringing in her ears became blurred sounds and voices that eventually faded into a humming silence, knocking her out. Rolling a 10, the plasma went towards the Elder Screecher in a straight line, puncturing the Elder's outer shell, before slowly invading the inner shell as the matter cooked the insides like a microwaved turkey. The Elder Screecher screeched in pain before its entire body combusted in gooey slime.
    • Lion let out a relieved laugh due to the Elder Screecher's death. He orders a third sentry to assume a defensive position above Iska, laying down covering fire, as he went on to continue slicing. Rolling a 6, his defensive turret made its move, opting for defense. One of the Screecher spat out some caustic spit towards the sentry, as some substance tampered with its visual sensors. Lion continued to slice another two bugs out of the way.
    • Arthur moved up to provide supporting fire for Varn. Rolling a 5, while he did killed some off, it was proved useless when another took its place as cannon folder.
    • Varn starts to move slowly ahead, shooting, as the team started to push the bugs back. Rolling a 9, he pushed the bugs back as he shot them twice. He pulled out a Wildfire vial and started to throw it at the bugs like grenades.
    • The bugs were determined to overwhelm the crew like a package of meat. As long as they outnumber them from 5:1, it was a moot point. Then, a loud screech came out of nowhere, as the entire Screecher army stood in silence and turned forward to see a gigantic figure approaching. The large figure crawled to a slow haul with its claws thumping on the ground. It was the Screecher Queen, three times the size of a regular Screecher.
    • Dwan rushes over to Lion to ask him if he can unjam his backpack cannon. Lion nodded and proceeded to do so.
    • Perra hastened and went to the rocky cover with Lion, Varn and Dwan, asking if anyone of them have a plan.
    • Lion responds with complete elimination, which Perra likes. Rolling a 8, aiming at five Screechers, firing away as each bullet teared the bugs apart like some minigun.
    • Dwan opts to use the Texas Ranger a bit longer before switching to the Howitzer's flames. Rolling a 9, his decision to use his shotgun came in handy when he picked off a few bugs attacking Perra's men to ensure they won't harmed.
    • Varn threw one of his incendiary grenades. Rolling a 5, he proceeded to cover the Screechers in flames as they scream in agony, pissing off the Screecher Queen, who proceeded to move towards Varn's cover.
    • As the Screecher Queen crawled towards Varn, Jeremy used his weapon containing Wildfire as a desperate measure. Rolling a 9, the vial made it through the Queen, unleashing a load of pain. The queen shook and roared throughout the cave. She insisted that she would retreat and rest due to the Wildfire thrown at her.
    • Dwan, seeing Jeremy use wildfire, got an idea. He took one of his openable mortar rounds and filled one with Wildfire. He switched to mortar mode and fired the wildfire mortar round. Rolling a 8, his genius plan proved efficient, ultimately working as the Queen yelled in pain another time, as the round blasted her body in spares.
    • Varn threw out his entire grenade sack sans one as a spare towards the Screecher Queen. Rolling a 5, he abruptly missed, as it exploded in flames, not harming any bugs at all.
    • The Screecher Queen decided to wage war against the crews. She stomped on the ground, suddenly having a dozen Screechers coming from the grounds as she choked on something. A few seconds, she vomited out caustic spit like some continuous beam towards cover, appearing to be a thousands times stronger than regular spit.
    • Lion readied his vial of Wildfire, climbed onto the Queen and poured the vial's contents into a concussion grenade, throwing it into the maw of the Queen. Rolling a 2, the Queen noticed Lion and shook him off her like some bull, but only ten times worse. The concussion grenade was left on the ground, unarmed.
    • Yanim decided to give herself a elevation advantage, as she hid up high in the rock. Rolling a 7, she was unseen and could see anyone that's fighting.
    • Lion alerts Yanim of the unharmed Wildfire grenade near the queen. She fires at it. Rolling a 3, she misses, as the Screechers spot her.
    • Varn ducks behind cover, hoping he wouldn't get hit badly. Rolling a 1, the Screecher Queen's caustic spit took place in his cover spot. The effect of acid ate the rocky cover up like cottage cheese, as he noticed his personal armor got some spit and started to see the effects.
    • Arthur switches his gun to Wildfire capacity and shoots it in the direction of the Screechers that had spotted Yanim. Rolling a 9, he successfully pulls it off as he liquidizes the bugs.
    • Lion began firing off his micro-SMG's before switching to his blades in an instant, charging towards a pair of Screechers. Rolling a 4, he noticed more and more came in, retreating to safe cover.
    • Varn decides to throw his last remaining grenade at the Queen. Rolling a 9, he threw it into the weak spot inside the Queen's mouth. It erupted, causing a chain reaction with the concussion grenade. Combining the Queen's caustic acid with the Wildfire causes her insides to combust. The Queen screamed in agony as the overwhelming Wildfire boiled her alive, eventually dazing her, making her succumb to an extreme amount of pain as she crashed to the ground. The remaining Screechers screeched in fear towards the crews and retreated. Varn killed the Screecher Queen!
  • Everyone begins to celebrate their victory over the Screechers. Yanim's blood was boiling, as she believes she had contributed nothing of importance.
  • The crews begin to haul the Screecher Queen out of the cave using Repulser lifts.
  • Arthur reveals Wildfire to Perra, who intends to sell the recipe to the government of Rigel after they claim the reward.
  • Everyone gets around the body for a group photo, sans Perra. Joseph arrives by taxi just at the nick of time to join the photo.
  • Dwan is pulled behind a stalagmite by Nokhea, a member of the Golden Wave, who threatens him and the crew, saying that the Golden Wave will be watching the Archius. He gains a business card in the process.
  • Colin arrives at the docking station.
  • The Screecher Queen's body is loaded onto one of the two Homkah trucks. It is then stolen by Perra, who tries to take the body all for herself.
  • Iska finds Viper injured within the cave, in need of an operation.
  • Lion, Yanim and Dwan take Roughrider and begin to chase after Perra.
  • As they chased after Perra, her Homkah appeared in the windshield and HUD. Lion pulled hard on the stick to evade the mechanically-precise weaponry, first upward and to the left before rolling inward and dropping altitude, getting underneath the craft's cone of fire. The entire time, the G-forces inside the cockpit were enough to keep Yanim from becoming disoriented as she pulled up on the nosegun. She raked the side of the truck and its tires with machine gun fire during the pass. Rolling a 8, the truck took an immense amount of firepower from the nosegun, barely keeping up as one of the large tires took a heavy beating but not imploding as they expected it to.
  • Lion gives Yanim control of the missile tubes. Lion rocks the controls back and forth to dodge the truck's next hail of fire before pulling back on the throttle and pulling a lateral spin. Yanim decides to use the machine gun as a tracer before unleashing the missiles. Rolling a 8, she unleashed the set of concussion missiles, making sure they would precisely hit near the front of the truck. In a press, the payload case opened, revealing an onset of missiles. One missile sparkled and flew straight towards in front of the truck, blowing up impressively in front of the truck's ramming speed. The impact forced the truck to go out of balance, unable to control the truck, Perra braced for impact as the truck tilted, preparing to crash as it flipped on its side, collapsing in the middle of nowhere, as exhaust smoke came out of the intake.
  • Dwan, who fell asleep in Roughrider, wakes up and finds out what is going on. Lion tells him to get on the rear gun, which he does.
  • Lion lands Roughrider, as he approached the toppled truck. Yanim contacts the others, telling them they got to Perra.
  • As the others arrive, Lion opens up the truck door. Arthur tells Joseph to go back to the ship and prepare the lab, as Viper needs an operation.
  • Lemmy arrives at the docking station, meeting Colin.
  • Within the truck, he finds Perra, as her injured state left her such a bruised and dirty mess. She reveals that she has Dura Shock Plasma Charges, as she plans to blow up herself and the Queen's body.
  • Arthur argues with Perra, as the two try to intimidate each other. Perra activates the charges. Rolling a 10, protected by its armored cage, the dead Queen survives the explosion fully intact.
  • Having revealed his criminal past to Lion and Dwan, Arthur makes them swear to keep it a secret. They both swear, as Dwan accidentally implies he has a rough past too.
  • Jeb arrives at the docking station, meeting Lemmy and Colin.
  • The crew celebrates its victory, as they return back at the Archius via Roughrider.
  • Enforcer Lemmy Kilmister, Morale Specialist Jeb Jackson and Scribe Colin Oxfon join the crew.
  • Dwan inserts the Golden Wave's electronic business card into the Archive's card reader, as he labels the group a threat to the Archius.
  • Lion and Yanim get back into Roughrider and go back into the tundra to retrieve the Queen's body. They bring it to the ship.
  • Arthur and Joseph begin to work on Viper.
  • Yanim began working on a robotic fox companion called Skada.
  • Lion, Iska, Varn, Lemmy and Sledge get into a truck and head to Yarheim, in order to deliver the Queen's body and get the deal done.
  • Arthur confronts Dwan over his past. Dwan tells him an altered version of his past, before Arthur reveals more of his past to him.
  • Lion, Iska, Varn, Lemmy and Sledge arrived at Yarheim and began unloading the carcass. They head to the Helix offices.
  • They are given clearance to enter, as they speak with the receptionist. She tells them that Arenax Seventhian, founder of Helix Corps and sponsor of the Inquisition, is on the top floor. Varn and Lemmy go to the top floor to discuss with Arenax.
  • Arenax meets Varn and Lemmy, who then proceed to take him to the carcass, to show him they did kill the Queen.
  • Arenax sees the carcass, aswell as meets Lion, Iska and Sledge. He gives the Archius the prize money of 20 million credits.
  • They encounter Squish at the offices.
  • Chef Michelle "Mic" Oscar and Biologist Squish join the crew.
  • Lion, Iska, Varn, Lemmy, Sledge and Squish jump onto the truck and drive back to the Archius.
  • Joseph's operation on Viper, despite its difficulty and chance to kill Viper, is successful, but barely.
  • Lion unloads the Queen's carcass and cuts off her head as a trophy.
  • Varn adds his ex, Sasha Merner, to the threat list.
  • Yanim and Iska notice Dwan writing in a paper book. After he reveals it to be about caldiur, he and Iska get into an argument over caldiur/bloodmagic. Yanim calls their argument absurd.
  • Dwan and Varn discuss about the Golden Wave and why Dwan labeled it a threat.
  • Lion mounts the Queen's head, preserved in gel making it shinier, onto a desk in the bar. He mounts a small metalplate below it with the words "Screecher Queen - Rigel" inscribed onto it.
  • Viper attempts to communicate with Joseph's assistants, but scares them. Lion comes it and talks to him. Following the conversation, Lion got to work on a exosuit with Yanim and Iska for Viper.
  • Jeremy makes Arthur's position as Head of Science permanent.
  • Lion, Yanim and Iska present the LWA Mantis-type Exosuit to Viper. Viper puts it on and gets back on track.
  • The Archius IX leaves Rigel. After they've left, they pick up heavy cryo signs in the emptiness of space.
  • Lion calls Viper, Iska, Sledge, Lemmy and Colin to the armory. He gives Colin the LWA Servant, Iska the LWA Iska LMG, Viper the LWA Needlers and LWA Stingers, Sledge the LWA Crusher and Lemmy his weapon.
  • DomeEval, through the ship's sensors, picked up an unidentified pod with possible life signs in their range on the radar. Jeremy, Arthur and the entire security personnel head to the hangar to see the pod being grabbed by the ship.
  • The ship reached at the pod and places it in the hangar. It begins to warm up, as the ice formed on it cracks.
  • Lion slowly opens the pod, as a small jet of cryo-steam shot out of the pod, defrosting its occupant.
  • John wakes up, as he realizes he's been under so long that he has cryo-sickness. As he meets the people in the hangar, when attempting to speak to Jeremy, he throws up. He asks for a doctor. He passes out at the medbay.
  • Chief Atmospheric Technician John Riker joins the crew.
  • The Archius IX begins to head to Termina Central.

Day 3-21

Termina Arc

Day 22 [pp. 36-45]

  • In what seemed like an eternity in space as no trouble found them, Archius XI was at the destination course to Termina Central, discovering it to be a moon-sized spaceship.
  • John awoke after 20 days.
  • Yanim finished work on Skada.
  • Lion began working on Lynx.
  • Varn reads on the news that the Boome Marines got a change in management, as the new leader decides to get rid of the mystery surrounding the group and just admit they were walking chemical experiments.
  • As Arthur discovers John to be awake, John realizes that the internal components of his brain were malfunctioning from cryo-sleep, and so John asks Arthur to get him a robotics, a computer engineer, and a surgeon.
  • Dwan and Varn discuss about the Golden Wave and agree to snoop around for any possible leads.
  • Back at the kitchen where the Mess Hall is located, a canteen worker thought it would be funny to place an unknown paste together with a tomato in the new microwave. Needless to say, havoc turned up when you combine both together, resulting in a giant man eating tomato from the depths of monstrosity.
    • As the tomato roared in terror and hopped from place to place, Sledge was quick to notice it and roared back at it, attacking it. Rolling a 5, his attempts to smash the tomato were futile and pointless as the creature spat some weird yet tasty sauce towards his face. The tomato's instincts came into place and it hopped to a safe place.
    • Yanim, hearing a commotion going on in the mess hall, pokes her head out the bar room door to witness Sledge fighting a tomato. She calmly closed the door and returned to her seat, trying a bit too hard to pretend that she had seen nothing.
    • The tomato screamed as found someone closing a door on it. It stared at the door in anger and attempted to bite the metal door in a fit of rage. Being the soft tomato it was, it didn't even made a scratch.
    • Yanim, hearing the thumps of the tomato against the door, tries to use the door in an effort to slice the tomato. Rolling a 1, the tomato was quick to notice this and spat more sauce at Yanim. as it entered the bar.
    • Sledge, still covered in sauce, tries to attack the tomato, as it's distracted by the door. Rolling a 4, the tomato screamed in fear and attempted to escape, preventing a fatal squish from Mr. Hammer.
    • Viper notices Sledge, Yanim and Squish fighting a tomato in the bar through the cameras. It began quickly pacing to the bar.
    • After examining the ragu on Sledge, Squish yelled at Sledge and Yanim, telling them he got a plan. He tells Sledge to get some bags of flour from the kitchen, while he tells Yanim to get some clothing and art supplies. He then pulls out a pepper shaker and began forcing himself to sneeze up a storm, covering everything in snot.
    • As Sledge and Yanim got the supplies, Joseph noticed the tomato and began chasing it with a bonesaw. Rolling a '3, as the tomato peeped out towards Squish moving closer, it notices Joseph coming for an attack. It sprang into action and hopped as quick as it can, tiring Joseph out.
    • Sledge produced several bags of flour, as Yanim tossed over her sauce-drenched pea coat and scarf. Squish begins stacking the bags a certain way and puts clothing on it, finishing it off by putting his glasses on it, creating a dummy. Rolling a 7, the tomato saw an opportunity at the dummy with glasses, as it twitched and hopped towards it. It had a feeling to eat this sort of thing, thinking it was worth a try.
    • Iska sees Sledge, Yanim, Squish and Joseph fighting the tomato and runs back to her room to get her LWA-I, before making her way back to the bar.
    • Viper arrives at the bar, seeing the group using a dummy to defeat the tomato. It radios in to Sledge as it made its way to the elevator, telling him not to destroy the ship as they battle the tomato.
    • Seeing the tomato distracted, Sledge does a crotch chop followed up by a straight kick. Rolling a 9, the tomato screamed out and watched as its insides were squished by a built foot. The tomato took some heavy breaths and noticed its other half was literally slush. The tomato's last actions was to escape from the enemies, now crawling instead of hopping. It tried to keep itself together but too much sauce is spilling all over the floor.
    • Iska arrives at the bar with her LWA-I, watching Sledge kick the tomato to near death.
    • The group chases the tomato down, surrounding it. Rolling a 4, Squish attempts to protect the tomato, but it fails as he could only watch.
    • Sledge draws both his hammers and rushes down the tomato, giving both hammers a 360-degree spinning strike. Rolling a 8, the tomato's final breath was wasted as two hammers collided its side. Its remains were turned into mush and sauce splattered everywhere. The tomato was defeated.
  • Jeremy enters the bar, asking what is going on. The group explains.
  • Viper arrives back at the bar, scolding Sledge for making a mess. He gets a mop and forces Sledge to clean it up.
  • Having excused himself earlier, Dwan was in his secret quarters the entire time. Sneaking out of his quarters, as he hoped no one noticed the entrance, he sees the mess in the bar, prompting him to ask what happened while he was gone.
  • Viper discusses with Jeremy in private, as they discuss about Shanghvi regeneration.
  • Lion finishes work on Lynx.
  • The Archius XI's communications with Termina Central update, as they are told to move in at Dock 2133.
  • Dolosus, Issac and Joseph arrive at the medical bay where Arthur and John were waiting for them. John's brain surgery and augmentation update began.
  • By Colin's private request, Lion agrees to update his baton.
  • After some time, John's brain surgery and augmentation update was finished.
  • A few hours later, John would wake up, noticing the updates to his augment, realizing it was no longer a disability to him, but rather an enhancement. As he got up to check the medical bay, Arthur discovers him, telling him to stay in bed.
  • Varn watches an interview with the Boome Marines' leader in it, discovering it to be an old friend of his. He turns it off since it was nothing but an excuse for the leader to pump his own ego.
  • John asks Arthur where he is, who they are and why they upgraded his augment. Arthur answers and suggests John to get a job on the ship as he asks him for his past.
  • The Archius IX lands on Dock 2133, having finally arrived in Termina Central. Through the speakers, Jeremy suggests everyone to finish up and meet up in the hangar bay, suggesting that Harken Saw might want to see them.
  • Lion, Sledge, Varn, Dwan, Joseph, Colin, Yanim, Viper, Iska and Arthur arrive at the hangar bay with Jeremy, as Lion opens up the hangar doors, revealing the interior of the Termina Central docking area.
  • The group notices a rather large group of soldiers and people in fancy uniforms wearing HarkArk colors approaching them. Nicole Vara introduces herself to the group and reveals that they are their escort to Harken Saw. The group introduces itself to her in return.
  • Vara reveals that Termina Central is a space station for trading and services, basically serving as HarkArk's base of operations.
  • A long passenger shuttle stopped by, as one of the doors opened. Everyone hopped in. Jeremy discusses with Vara over Saw, as Viper, Lion and Iska argue with some HarkArk soldiers. Lion tells Vara how HarkArk's men are out of line, which she apologized for.
  • The passenger shuttle arrived at a very tall tower above a platform. They land on the rooftop.
  • Everybody gets out of the shuttle, as they wait for Saw.
  • Vara introduces the group to Khaen-suas and Turatko.
  • Scientist and Scribe Khaen-suas and Engineering Technician and Machinist Turatko join the crew.
  • As the two new members introduce themselves to the group, Vara tells everyone to follow her into Saw's office. They enter Saw's office, seeing lots of old antiques and fancy decor.
  • Harken Saw reveals himself to Vara and the group. He tells the group that they have much to discuss and things to keep in mind. Everyone grabs a seat, as they began talking to Saw.
  • Saw asks Jeremy if he brought the Oracle piece with him. Jeremy tells him that he did, showing the orb to him. Saw begins explaining what the orb is and what the Oracle itself is.
  • Saw inquires Jeremy about what the crew has done so far, as Arthur mentioned pirates to him. Jeremy tells him about Bruta and his intentions to grab the Oracle piece and deliver it to the Crimson Son. Saw narrowed his eyes as he heard the term Crimson Son.
  • Saw reveals who the Crimson Son is. After he reveals to them who they are, the group asks what is next for them. Saw tells them they are going to Gadon, where his intel from his operatives suggests that there is another piece to the Oracle.
  • Thanking the group for delivering the orb piece of the Oracle, he decides to give everyone present in the group a personal request. Jeremy asks for some new equipment and an improved weapons systems for the Archius, Dwan decides to save his request for another time, Yanim asks for a neural bridge device, Arthur asks for test subjects, Colin asks for temporary access to Saw's library, Iska asks for her GravitX bike to be materialported to the Archius, Lion asks for a Striker ship and a restock of the onboard material storage, Varn asks for access to HarkArk's new armor, Viper asks for certain rare materials and a Panther ship, Sledge asks for a pet and the rest of the group follows Dwan's example.
  • Jeremy inquires Saw about the painting with a heavily armored man named Archius Kain on it.
  • Saw introduces Jeremy to a robot called the Sentinel. Having designed it himself for strength, he asks Jeremy to keep him. Lion inquires about the Sentinel, leading to Saw to reveal that he's a test robot.
  • Jeremy decides it was time to head back to the ship, thanking Saw on the way out.
  • The group went back to the shuttle and flew back to the docking station, where they find HarkArk workers upgrading the Archius and bringing in cargo.
  • Dwan and Varn decide to go to a merc center to see if they can get any info on the Golden Wave. Lion asks them to get him some syntholeum.
  • Jeremy meets Pippin.
  • Engineer Pippin Falk joins the crew.
  • The two arrive at the Gold Dust Office on Termina Central. The guard in front recognized Varn as a member of the Boome Marines, requiring Dwan to enter alone.
  • Yanim has an encounter with a phirin.
  • Dwan enters the Gold Dust Office and asks the receptionist if the office has any info on the Golden Wave. He happily tells Dwan what they know. He leaves the office and tells Varn he got info. They get Lion's syntholeum and return to the ship.
  • Jeremy makes a quick announcement through his holo band, announcing that they'll be leaving for Gadon soon.
  • Meanwhile, Harken Saw decides to have a small recon fleet watch the Archius, in case the Crimson Son ambushes them.
  • Jeremy asks the Sentinel what Saw meant when he said he was a test robot. The Sentinel reveals that he is part of the Sentinel Project. If he's successful in his objectives, the project gets greenlit for mass production, while failure would terminate the project.
  • Everyone starts going through their newly acquired items from HarkArk.
  • Lion calls Jeb to the armory. He gives Jeb the LWA Desperado.
  • Lion shows Viper his new ship, Talon, and finishes work on another ship, Eagle.
  • The Archius IX leaves Termina Central for Gadon.

Day 23

Gadon Arc

Day 24 [pp. 45 to 55]

  • As the Archius got closer to Gadon, it was morning or at least they felt like it was. Jeremy is called to the bridge. Everyone including the Sentinel were at the bridge, as they witnessed Gadon getting a orbital bombardment from a ship with hulls based on Holy Terran design. A transmission opened up and Jeremy redundantly accepted. A man wearing a priesthood tunic with gloves and armor encased, some futuristic gas mask covering his entire head and a pope hat warns the ship not to get close to Gadon, saying its inhabitants are sinners. Jeremy, being at a lost, decides to take suggestions from the crew.
  • After a few suggestions, Jeremy decides to reason with the ship, as he tried to convince them to stop bombing to allow them to get the next Oracle piece. It is revealed that the man they are talking to is Zealot Kalpyr, Commander of the Divinity Creed's 13th Fleet.
  • Once they realized that they were dealing with the Divinity Creed, they knew the Creed wouldn't stop bombing the planet. Jeremy does however manage to convince Kalpyr to allow them onto the planet, however, if they discover xenos, they will attack.
  • As everyone scrambled to organize the party going onto Gadon, Dwan suggests the name Andronicus to the Sentinel. The Sentinel appreciates it, as it became its name.
  • The Archius XI dropped down into Gadon where the swamp life ruled the land, landing in the soggy area, floating 1 kilometer above ground level.
  • Lion and Viper get into Eagle and Talon respectively and check the surface for hostiles.
  • Sledge bursts into the hangar bay, riding the pet he was given by Saw, a Dracobin named Hercules.
  • Yanim, Iska, Sledge, Hercules, Varn, Jeremy, Andronicus, Dolosus, Jeb and Pippin get into Roughrider and fly into Gadon, landing on the surface.
  • Eagle and Talon land soon after. Lion points out a sphere near the ships that's giving off some very interesting readings.
  • The group secures the sphere, as they identify some kind of triggering mechanism near it.
  • Dolosus used his scanner on the nearby device, creating a 3D map of the device's internal structure. Rolling a 8, his pad beeped up as the same energy signature from the Oracle Orb was beneath this structure.
  • Andronicus scans the message on the sphere and decrypts it. It is revealed to be cryptic.
  • Lion realizes that the sphere is touch-sensitive. As he asks if anyone wanted to touch it, he decides to do it himself. Rolling a 7, the device suddenly activated. The device released an instructional tool, akin to primitive holograms. There were shadows placing some object under the structure, which may be a piece of the Oracle. The shadows nodded to each other as they disappeared, vanishing as the Oracle part laid there for millennia. There's obviously more to this than meets the eye.
  • Everyone decides to dig the dirt underneath the sphere. Hercules, using his bottom jaw, scooped out massive amounts of dirt out of the ground, which he promptly swallows, making the process quicker.
  • Lion decides to pull out a small laser drill attached to a set of rails, which he begins using around the feet of the sphere.
  • Watching the group since it landed, a bipedal 9 foot tall swamp creature attacks them.
    • Varn uses his Boom-Box on the creature. Rolling a 8, he pulled the trigger and a round full got the creature, but it yelled in response, proving it wasn't enough to overwhelm it. The monster swinged its arm to attack Varn.
    • Jeb, realizing that diplomacy isn't going to work, uses his Desperado on the creature. Rolling a 1, the creature turned around and saw Jeb unprotected. With this opportunity, it ran at Jeb at full speed. The creature grabbed Jeb by the torso and lifted him up, tightening its grip on Jeb. as he was already in full pain as he screamed. The monster roared in unison.
    • Sledge mounted Hercules and tells him to go for the creature's heel, if it had one. Rolling a 4, the creature dropped Jeb to the ground, seeing Sledge and Herc come at it. Herc hopped and opened its mouth, hoping he could spot a weak point. Unfortunately, the creature whacked Herc in the face as the mount came, causing Sledge to fall off. Herc shook his head and roared in anger.
    • Pippin sees Jeb in pain and began running at him, firing a burst from his carbine as he did. Rolling a 7, he put a few holes into the creature's thick skin as he went to carry Jeb.
    • Varn dodges the creature's swing at him. As he prepared to dodge another, he notices the creature switching its focus to the others. He fires his Boom-Box at it again, this time aiming for the leg. Rolling a 9, the creature roared in agony as it laid crippled, having to limp as of now. It turned to Varn once again.
    • Sledge, filled with rage, runs at the creature as he attacks it with both of his hammers. Rolling a 6, his charge on to the creature was pointless as it simply taunted him to go at it. The creature received a bit of a pound by his hammers, but it only made it angrier.
    • Iska powered her gravity bike as she gestured her crafted lasso cable in order to get the creature out of the way. Rolling a 5, she tried to take aim, but her adrenaline rush was a bit overboard for her to concentrate. Her aim on the creature slipped off and she failed to throw it around its neck.
    • Pippin carried Jeb back to Roughrider, where he began to use a medical kit on him.
    • Iska, realizing what she did wrong, slowed her speeder a bit and got the cable going. She threw the lasso while she powered her bike at a constant speed. Her accuracy improved the second time as the lasso laid around the creature's neck. She increased speed and dragged the thing around for a joy ride, as the immense pressure around the cable nearly choked the monster out of air, blood wedges forming as the creature roared. The cable from Iska's end eventually breaks off, as the creature was free from her grasp, but now it was slow to haul, having almost got its head cut off.
    • Varn throws a grenade at the creature. Rolling a 3, he planted the grenade, hoping it would get it, but it didn't. Instead, the beast charged up and lifted its good leg off the ground, stomping the ground to create a shockwave, causing the grenade to explode without the beast being close to it. Varn himself got out of balance, getting dizzy from the wave.
    • Sledge once more saddled Hercules, as he charged at the creature with his hammer in hand. Rolling a 7, his hammer collided with the creature's head, inches of blood pouring out from the formed wound as it fell on its back. It pressed its head using its hands, roaring from the sound of pain and frustration. The creature rose from the ground and attempted to taunt both.
    • Varn decides to take another shot at the creature with his Boom-Box. Rolling a 3, he finds out it's jammed.
    • Having run out of ammo, Viper decides to attack the creature with its claws. Rolling a 6, he used his claws of fury to face the weakened creature head on by sprinting then slashing its belly with minimal effort. It reacted with slight pain but still kept going.
    • Hercules, having launched Sledge, continues forward and attempts to devour the creature. Rolling a 9, he taunted the creature and made sure it wasn't going anywhere. With the slashed neck, broken leg, and head injury, he knew this was his moment. Herc ran to the enemy and exposed his mouth full of sharp teeth. The creature's upper body was eaten by Herc as he began to eat up, blood spurted everywhere as the creature's time was up. The swamp creature was defeated.
  • Pippin asks for medical help, as he tries to help Jeb. Lion jumps into action, as he calls Varn and Sledge to help him stabilize Jeb. He injects a 30ml Hinkshok needle into Jeb's left arm, causing him to black out. They begin repairing the fractures and open veins Jeb had acquired. Rolling a 7, he successfully manages to close the veins using a laser and eventually fix him up.
  • Yanim flies Roughrider back to the Archius, as Lion drops off Jeb at the medbay.
  • The Divinity Creed consider the possibility that the Archius is a HarkArk ship. They decide to get closer to Gadon and investigate the group.
  • A pilot called Shelia tells the group that the Creed is coming to Gadon.
  • Roughrider lands back onto Gadon, as Lion, Varn, Pippin and Sledge return to the group.
  • Suddenly, a swarm of 4 foot bugs comes from the swamps, as they began attacking the group.
    • Pippin decides to fire his weapon at the swarm. Rolling a 5, he kills a few.
    • Varn also fires his weapon at the swarm. Rolling a 5, he was killing as well, but they just kept coming.
    • Iska, tired of this situation, unleashes her adrenaline, as she used her machine gun against the bugs. Rolling a 10, she kills off a dozen successfully, as the 4 ft bugs got picked off one by one. She gestured Varn to give her a grenade and he responded by throwing one to her. She activated the grenade and threw it at the nearest swamp, exploding spectacularly with multiple bug limps coming off along with purple blood spilling everywhere.
    • Dwan, nervous over the Divinity Creed, contacts Varn over the communicator, asking how they are doing.
    • Viper prepared its suit for combat as the bugs swarmed it. Rolling a 4, it unleashed a barrage of plasma against them, as a bug jumped on its back, attempting to claw it.
    • Impressed by Iska, Varn uses his now unjammed Boom-Box against the bugs. Rolling a 9, he fired rounds at the bugs in the front lines. He uses another one of his grenades against the bugs, as he threw it at them. He turned to Viper and assisted it by shooting the attacking bug off its back. He saw the grenade explode in front of his eyes.
    • Jeremy thinks the bugs are losing away, as he tells everyone to wait a few more minutes until the drill is done.
    • Varn continues to give the smack down on the bugs. Rolling a 2, he has to check in with ammo, as the bugs started to overwhelm him. His pulled out mag came in place until he accidentally dropped it.
    • As the bugs come closer, Varn decides to drop a grenade where they were clustering. Rolling a 9, with a time delay , Varn had enough time to escape before it exploded. The grenade blew as the swarm of bugs got torn apart. The massive swarms of bugs died down once Varn's grenade turned the tide in their favor. The bugs were beaten.
  • As the bug attack died out, Iska felt her gun run out of ammo. She put Jorvu back on her back and removed her combat knife. She wiped the insect blood from her face with trembling hands, looking down onto her bloodied hands. The bloodfury took over.
  • Hercules picks up on Iska's distressed emotional state and attempts to calm her by taking a submissive position in front of her and making cute whining noises. Rolling a 1, angered by Herc's cutesy whining noise, Iska yells in unison and tackles him down to the ground, stabbing him by the thigh as she's gotten out of control. Herc releases out a scream.
  • Viper notices Iska's action and moves in to restrain her. Rolling a 9, it placed its entire focus on Iska. From 3 inches, Viper dodged Iska's charge and placed one of its talons on her shoulder, placing its other talon around her neck. Viper pressed hard and made sure she wasn't gonna break out of its hold. A minute later and she was almost suffocating, grasping for air as Viper pressed down on her neck.
  • Jeremy and Andronicus see Viper choking Iska and demand it to stop, but Viper kept on going, as its memories from the war it participated in went live. Andron ran towards Viper, tackling it into submission.
  • As Hercules howled in pain, Sledge ran towards him to check the wound. Rolling a 8, Herc held the pain like a champ, as the wound doesn't seem to be as awful as it was thought to be. Sledge helps Herc back onto his feet.
  • Iska gasps for air and scrambles to her feet, as she finally snaps out of her bloodfury. She then passes out.
  • Lion tells Pippin and Varn to get Iska back to Roughrider, as he asks for Sledge's help in placing hoverpods around the sphere, planning on making it fly.
  • The pods attach themselves to the sphere, as it begins hovering. He tells everyone to get onto Roughrider and to go back to the Archius, asking Viper to escort it with Talon. He sets up explosives underneath the hovering sphere.
  • He runs to Eagle and gets into it. He decides to engage the Creed's fleet, in order to buy the group more time. Rolling a 7, he fires off a single blue-colored rocket, headed to the center of the small fleet. A blue aura dispersed from the rocket as it collided with a big frigate. The aura spread throughout the fleet one by one, receiving the EMP shockwave. No ship had the chance to move through. Of course, the Creed's ships have advanced in the past years, as Lion doesn't expect the effect to be permanent.
  • The Divinity Creed decides to send in military transports onto Gadon, after finding out that the Archius has xenos in its crew.
    • Varn decides to take cover behind a tree, blind firing at the Creed soldiers. Rolling a 1, he sees a couple of Creed disciples coming at him along with Kalpyr. Varn was quick but he wasn't not quick enough to avoid Kalpyr's sprint attack, which he follows up with a backflip kick, knocking Varn down to the ground.
    • Viper calculated the amount of enemies and odds against them, realizing they would need an illusion. Viper decides to deploy a modified smoke screen. Rolling a 10, in no less than a few seconds, the smoke spawned around the flora. It was its chance to strike, as it located the confused targets, firing at them immediately, picking them off one by one.
    • Lion decides to engage the Creed dropships. Rolling a 3, he switched to the Eagle's kinetic repeater and aimed at the dropships firing. A salvo went straight towards them but didn't collie, missing completely. The dropships turned to Lion's ship, engaging with him as he proved threat worthy.
    • Pippin climbed into Roughrider and fired at a squad of troopers. Rolling a 3, as he was firing, a disciple took aim and shot him through the side of his torso.
    • Evading the attacks from the hostile dropships, Lion fires his cluster bombs at the Creed soldiers on Gadon. Rolling a 9, the cluster bombs spread out into packs, activating on impact with the ground, exploding and consuming troops left and right.
    • Pippin, having collapsed onto the ground, propped himself onto the wall as he tried to stay conscious. He sees Varn fighting Kalpyr and fires at him. Rolling a 3, he missed miserably and the commander took notice, firing a few shots at him before taking cover from the bombs.
    • Lion notices a Creed frigate trying to stop the Archius from going anywhere, so he fires three salvos of kinetic projectiles at an alarming speed aimed towards the bridge of the small ship. Rolling a 9, the impact shattered the bridge greatly, causing the small frigate to plummet down to the ground.
    • Slegde decides to go for a stealth attack against the Creed soldiers. Rolling a 6, he pulled out his hammer and used it to smash some soldiers down on the ground, caving their heads in. Unfortunately, he was in the open field, so he retreated into Roughrider and braced for the best.
    • Varn decides to use his tazer against Kalpyr. Rolling a 7, he bursted out 50 000 volts on to Kalpyr, pressing down hard onto his robes as he received the shock as the voltage sprang across his body. But Kalpyr attempted to resist the shock, regaining his strength as he knocked the tazer out of Varn's hands.
    • An explosion suddenly sprang from a Creed vessel not too far from the battle. Kalpyr widened his eyes and saw the moment of truth. Everyone had their attention on a large fleet across their view. Large futuristic ships were huddled together, black and red all over as the invisible cloaks deactivated. They were slowly advancing towards the Creed's fleet. Even a small frigate from the unknown force fired a beam so large and devastating that it destroyed a bigger ship on impact. The doom prevailed as the Creed's fleet returned fire at once, pulse rounds filling up the atmosphere with sounds of war. Kalpyr tells his men to retreat, as their dropships are hit with missles, exploding spectacularly. The shockwave affected Kalpyr the most, nearly knocking him down to unconsciousness.
    • The invisible cloaks deactivated and men in black, intimidating armor arrived. Their breath was noisy and slow. At least a dozen wielded flamethrowers, plasma repeaters and much more. They surrounded the group along with the Creed forces. They advanced towards them slowly like a pack of bulldozers. The Crimson Son were here.
    • Having gotten the sphere out of Gadon, Jeremy tells the group to retreat back into Roughrider.
    • Viper stood ready to see the Crimson Son's next move. An invisible figure approached Viper quietly and carefully. A blade popped out and activated, deactivating the cloak.
    • Lion decides to fire at the area surrounding the group, launching four cluster missiles. Rolling a 1, they fail to hit any hostile contact. One thing he didn't take note was that anti aerial fighters were on his tail. The unknown fighters appeared from the fleet, splitting away from the main army as they went to strike other enemies. Eagle receives blasts from the unknown fighters, of which there were at least three. Electrical wiring fell out of place and an update on the ship's status was moderate damage to the hull.
    • Jeremy, firing a few rounds at the Crimson Son, gives his final call, telling everyone to retreat to the Archius.
    • In a last attempt to dish out towards the unknown enemy, Lion fired off all his remaining rockets towards the swarm of fighters. Rolling a 8, his bombing tore out at least a couple of soldiers on the ground, but they still were determined to fire their weapons at their last breaths.
    • As the rain picked up, the stealth cloaks of the Crimson Son begin to blink and malfunction as water pour upon them. The Crimson Son soldiers ripped off their cloaks with their claw-like hands, revealing how they look like. Viper, realizing that the only way to Talon was through the soldiers, began running to its ship as the soldiers notice it. They dash at Viper, as it activating its plasma blades, using the frontal arms to block their strikes as they lung forward. Rolling a 7, as it protected itself from damage, Viper sees an opportunity and lashed one of them across the chest.
    • Roughrider gets off Gadon and flies back to the Archius.
    • In response to Viper's slash, the Crimson soldiers begin doing a synchronized attack towards Viper as the ground trembled, throwing one of them off-sync for a second. Viper decides to use this very small window of opportunity to strike back with blades ready. Rolling a 2, its one blade collided with an electrical blade. Viper completely focused on one duel, holding off the assassin as the other two knocked him down from behind.
    • Viper continued to fight the assassin, as it still begged to fight. Rolling a 8, Viper shifted to the side just as the assassin charged through. Seeing an opportunity, it teared off the arm wielding the sword with all its might, throwing it towards the mud, short circuiting it.
    • Lion, looking for Viper, discovers it to still be on Gadon. He decides to use the link between the ships to remotely access Talon's systems, making the ship come alive. He fires off a salvo at the Crimson soldiers. Rolling a 9, he shot at the three assassins, blasting them into dust and making sure Viper was unscathed.
    • Viper decides to take the wounded assassin hostage, as it enters Talon and begins to lift off.
    • Dozens of groups of black troopers raised their firearms in response to Talon lifting off, firing their AA portable guns simultaneously at Talon, but missing. Viper manages to fly back to the Archius XI, entering through the hangar bay along with the hovering sphere in their grasp. The mission on Gadon was complete.
  • Lion grabs Pippin and Iska and begins carring them to the medical bay. He suddenly stops, remembering the explosives he left at the artifact site. He activates them, blowing it up sky-high. He continues onwards, carrying the wounded to the medical bay.
  • Varn brings Arthur a sample of the swamp creature they fought on Gadon. Arthur accepts the sample.
  • Once Talon landed in the hangar bay, Viper jumped out, dropping the unconscious assassin on the floor. Viper asks Jeremy what their next course of action is. He tells it that they are leaving Gadon and getting away as far as possible.
  • Jeremy notices the unconscious assassin on the floor, asking Viper what it is. It tells him that it is a Crimson soldier that ambushed it.
  • After leaving the wounded in the medical bay, Lion asks Jeremy for permission to connect at his charging station, while also taking control of the Archius weapon systems and increasing scanner efficiency. Jeremy allows it.
  • Varn places the unconscious assassin in restraints and drags him to Arthur.
  • Varn reveals to Arthur that he is a Madacherib and that he's experiencing a chemical disbalance, as he asks Arthur to help him. Arthur decides to help him, but he first wants to do something about the assassin, as it activated and just stared at him.
  • Lion connects to his charging station. He tells DomeEval that he was given permission to assume control of the weapon and sensor systems. As DomeEval calibrated the sensors, Lion started up the weapons, causing a large man-size hologram to appear on the bridge. The hologram had the appearance of a SSFD soldier without his helmet, as a nametag on the neckguard revealed the soldier to be a L. Eastlindht. Lion temporarily becomes AI!Lion.
  • Viper goes to the bridge, awaiting Jeremy, to privately speak about its actions.
  • Hostile ships begin to engage, firing a round which hit the Archius's shields, making the ship shake slightly. The assassin laughs monotonely. Jeremy tells AI!Lion to use evasive firepower, which he does.
  • A transmission request was sent in from the screen, as Sheila tells Jeremy that it's coming from somewhere else. Jeremy accepts the request, revealing a masked person in an HarkArk military officer uniform. He tells Jeremy that he is Colonel Yai Vin Braun and that he's here to assist the Archius. Braun's ships begin to cover the Archius as he gives them coordinates that would take them somewhere safe.
  • Jeremy tells AI!Lion to input the coordinates and to prepare a jump. AI!Lion tells him that they are ready. He initiates the jump, jumping to the selected coordinates.

  • AI!Lion scans for an opening and discovers some dormant auto-defense attack drones with HarkArk logos on them. He begins searching for the communications array frequency and finds it. He suggests giving them a call.
  • Major Kira Greene, with a cup of artificial coffee in hand, receives word of an unidentified ship at range. She dismisses the idea that they are invaders and accepts the call from the ship. After identifying the ship to be the Archius IX, she tells her men to bring them in. The asteroid curved up, as if bits of rocky material migrated to open up a hidden entrance for any ships wise enough to get sent here. The Archius entered through and landed.
  • Pippin and Jeb recover from their attacks on Gadon.
  • Jeremy and Viper begin speaking in private over Viper's actions on Gadon. Viper falls on the floor, saying it's sorry.
  • AI!Lion, seeing Viper fall on the floor, calls for a security officer to report to the bridge. Varn and Sledge come to the bridge.
  • Jeremy calms Viper down and brings it back to its feet.
  • Sledge requests that Viper be relieved of its duties immediately. While AI!Lion suggests that Jeremy should decide that later, Viper is angered by Sledge's comment. As AI!Lion tries to calm Viper down, Viper begins yelling bloody murder at the two. Sledge and AI!Lion begin pressuring Viper to stand down due to its upset state. This shocks Viper, as it realizes it has become a threat to the crew. Viper steps down from its position as Head of Security and resigns from the crew.
  • AI!Lion tells Sledge and Varn to escort Viper to the medical bay.
  • AI!Lion suggests making Varn temporary Head of Security. While Jeremy would rather have Lion have the position, he decides to go with it.
  • Jeremy heads to the bar for a drink. He ends up telling Dwan what's been going on. Varn arrives at the bar too.

  • Arthur replies, telling her he isn't allowing her to do that. Following his reply, Arthur asks Dwan and Varn to take the cybernetics to the janitor's storage.
  • As Dwan started slowly dragging them to the janitor's storage, Varn got the bright idea of putting the cybernetics in a crate. Dwan loves the idea and assists Varn in putting them in the crate.
  • Kira, talking to Jeremy, realizes that the Divinity Creed gasses the HarkArk outpost near Gadon.
  • Dwan and Varn put the crate filled with the cybernetics in the janitor's storage. Dwan notices Pippin going to the elevator and assumes he's going to the bar. He dashes to the elevator and accompanies him to the bar.
  • Lion decided that he was too unfocused. He decides to go to the bar to speak to the only other person onboard that could qualify as a shrink of sorts, Dwan. He decided to take a shortcut using the service ladder to get to the top.
  • Lion, Pippin and Dwan all meet in the bar.
  • Lion reveals how he got into his robot body to the two. After asking a few questions, Dwan suggests that Lion has PTSD. Lion denies it.
  • After a total amount of waiting and worrying, the operation was done and paid off in the end. Viper's body was stabilized and kept to a rest, as Joseph made another successful attempt to save Viper's life.
  • Despite still being injured, Jeb finally got enough strength to begin rehab. The first step was walking, so he made his rounds and arrived at the bar.
  • Varn and Iska enter the medical bay, now that the surgery was over. Iska gets checked up for her minor injuries, while Varn gets a chip implanted in his brain, to keep his Madacherib tendencies in check.
