• Venturing into the slums in Calpheon. It is a place in complete uproar, with protesters rioting and fighting for better conditions. Amidst the chaos, you can find people just slouching hopelessly in despair, such as the widowed Kristina and her daughter Nieves. Thankfully, you are able to help Kristina by taking Nieves to Basquean Ljurik, Calpheon's storage keeper who also happens to take care of orphans. Doing so rewards you with the Calpheon Guardian Angel title.
• The story of Princess Catherine Ornette in Kamasylvia. The youngest sister of the royal family, she was the only one focused on trying to restore the Kamasylve's light while the rest of the elves were torn in civil war and hatred. After going through numerous harsh and grueling trials to restore the Song of the Ancients, she eventually befriended a fellow Ganelle, Orwen. However, she found out that to restore the final piece of the Song, she would have to sacrifice her friend as her blood had the purity required to do so. In the end, she refused to do so, going so far as to banish her from Kamasylvia in order to ensure no one could get to her and was finally killed by the Ahib in Yianaros' Field. This act led the eldest sister, Amelia Ornette, to try and exterminate all Vedir elves in a bloody campaign. By the time you arrive at the Field, you find that through this sacrifice, Catherine herself has become the final piece required to restore Kamasylvia's light and all you can do is to do what she could not.
