Tear Jerker / Zombillénium

  • The fate of the miners. They were just workers who accidentaly dug a hole into hell and were instantly killed and turned into zombies by literally Satan. After that, when they tried to return home they were chased away by the townsfolk (which were probably their neighbors, friends, and family members which makes it ten times sadder) and were left to rot in the mines. Luckily for them, Francis came with an offer to build a theme park so they could have a place to call home.
  • Lucie gets constant BreakTheCutie moments. She starts the movie motherless and with a father who barely has any time for her, then she loses her father too, then her strict teacher becomes a bully to her, threatening her to send her to a "special school", tearing her drawings and even locking her in the classroom's locker as punishment. Then when she finally gets to the park after discovering her dad might still be alive, Gretchen tells her she won't find him there anymore since he's probably in Hell by then, which causes her to finally break down in tears. And after ALL that, she is kidnapped by a vampire and almost killed in a broken rollercoaster, talk about a rough day...
    • The detail of her voice breaking when she tells her dad through the intercom that she has not been doing very well shows how badly she has been dealing with everything in the past weeks.
  • Hector realising how much of a crappy father he was and that he might not be able to see his daughter again, not only because he has probably scarred her for life with his actions and she may see him now as a horrible monster, but also because since he is now 'dead' he cannot leave the park, otherwise he will be sent to Hell.
    • He is also very disturbed by the fact that he left her all alone with a "crazy" teacher in that boarding school. He clearly didn't think his actions would have a negative consequence for his daughter.
  • Hector had to give up his dreams after his wife's passing and get a real job to support their daughter, and even then, he had no time for her. Time that he now feels, he won't be able to recover.
  • It is hard not to feel sorry for Gretchen. She is an intern, and just because she is the boss's daughter she isn't given any credit and just treated like she is only a SpoiledBrat. Then when she goes through character development, the guy she formely had a crush on betrays her, her dad takes away her powers and dismisses her like everybody else while expressing his disappointment in her... ouch. Double ouch if it comes from your own father.
  • Sirius isn't the hero he claims to be, he didn't die leading any protest. In truth, he was just a rockstar who just wanted to shine so he made a deal with the devil, but when the time for his first concert came, he crashed his car and died, never being able to fulfill his dreams.
  • A moment that becomes HarsherInHindsight when you really think about it. Sirius tells Hector they all have left people they loved behind. Just how many family members, loved ones, friends and colleages have the workers of the park lost? It is really tragic how inevitably they will outlive their loved ones, loved ones that they probably never got to see again.
