- Chapter 1:
- When Izuku learns All Might was originally quirkless, he breaks down into a panic attack realizing that All Might's views on society are the same as everyone else's despite and is essentially using him to keep the statis quo, and that his dreams were doomed from the start simply because the world doesn't acknowledge it and accepting All Might's offer is his only choice.
- Chapter 2:
- Izuku has a panic attack after telling off Kamui Woods, Death Arms and Mount Lady and runs away before they could apologise.
- Chapter 3:
- Himiko breaks down after Izuku calls her blood related habits normal.
- Chapter 5:
- Izuku has a panic attack when Iida approaches him at the exam test site.
- He has another one when All Might causally dismisses his near death experience after admitting he knew it would happen.
- Chapter 7:
- Izuku nearly breaks down when Ochako calls him Deku. She later apologizes but gives it a new meaning, which Izuku accepts as a way to take away the power that name had over him for so many years.
