Tear Jerker / The Changeling (1980)

• The story behind what happened to Joseph. He was murdered by the man he should have been able to trust the most: namely, his father.
• Cora's backstory is also equally tragic.
• The opening sequence showing Joanna and Kathy's death and, a few months later, a desolate John walking alone to his empty apartment.
• The scene in which John cries thinking of his daughter, Kathy, as he lies in bed. However, it quickly turns to Nightmare Fuel.
• Senator Carmichael clearly loved his father. He is heartbroken after learning the truth.
• The sequences involving the red-and-white ball (before it becomes Joseph's plaything).
