Tear Jerker / Survivors (SpeedForce 1229)

• Kara was essentially a single penniless teenager mother stranded in a strange country with no food, baby or fresh clothes... and even so she was loath to stealing.
• Upon examining the crystals, Kara finds out the only reason because her uncle built a rocket for her was because her parents argued she could look after his son. After discovering this, Kara wants nothing with her biological family other than little Kal.
• Alex declares a movie night which unfortunately is a disaster. Kara is frightened by horror movies, thinking they're real. Then they start watching Star Wars: A New Hope, and Kara is quite fascinated... until they get to the part where Alderaan blows up. Kara dashes off and throws up.
