Tear Jerker / SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods

• The death of Freddy's teacher, Mr. Greckle, who showed twice that he was quick to step in to defend his student. Kalypso manipulates him into walking off the roof to his death while Freddy tries in vain to stop him and can only watch in horror.
• In the climax, Billy actually does die after killing Kalypso and Ladon with the massive amount of lightning that hit them as he transformed back from Shazam to Billy. Freddy finds him first and becomes increasingly frantic and desperate in trying to wake him up before breaking down in sobs in Victor's arms, while Rosa is so full of grief that she collapses to the ground while Mary and Darla tearfully hold her. Billy's whole family weeps for his death, and a heartbroken Freddy leaves a picture on his grave of the two of them together. Thankfully, he gets better after being revived by Diana.
