• In this AU, Regan‘s suicide attempt is because she’s just learned that she has cancer like her father and grandfather, and feels like she can’t win against it so she might as well just end it now. When stopping her, Luz mentions how her own adoptive father died of cancer, and how she couldn’t do anything to help him, even with all her power.
• Luz’s Blue side is constantly morose and blaming herself for things, much to the concern of her loved ones.
• Bizarro has a horrified reaction to learning that she’s hurting people and flees Earth.
• Vee's entire life pre-Earth was spent as a slave.
• Amity gets desperate enough to beg Odalia for help with Starro, only for Odalia to refuse out of sheer pettiness.
