- All of the Revolution endings are either painfully tragic or bittersweet.
- If the player makes the wrong choices in either LI routes, Fersen ends up dying of an infected wound just as he and Marie arrive in Sweden, and Lafayette stays behind in France to rescue the King and ends up executed. In both endings Marie is left alone and is sent back to France where she is guillotined.
- Louis' fate if the player fails to prevent the Revolution from occurring. In many if not all endings he sacrifices himself to keep Marie and the LI safe.

- The beginning of 2-3:
- The nightmare, with Gina seeing Light walking away from her into a dense fog during a terrible storm to make a Heroic Sacrifice and not being able to stop him.
Gina/MC: And before he vanished completely, he turned around and smiled sadly at me. I could kind of make out what he's saying... "Farewell, Gina."- When Gina wakes up, after trying in vain to summon Light she puts two and two together and realises that Light lied to her and decided to let himself fade away instead of letting Gina steal the royal ruby. She is heartbroken and filled with unimaginable fear and sorrow.
Gina/MC: I'm overwhelmed by a torrent of fear and sorrow. Light! You lied to me! You're sacrificing yourself! You said you wanted to find the gemstone and make my wish come true! How could you do this to me? I hug the lamp and think of all the times we spent together... - How Light ended up in the magic lamp. He broke a taboo in order to stop the old King from using time-space magic to try to bring back his son Giyath. His body and soul would have been torn apart if it weren't for Gina who preserved his soul in the magic lamp.
- In 2-8, Light sacrificing himself again to purge the darkness from Giyath's heart, with Gina trapped in a magic shield crying and begging him not to do it. And then the aftermath, with Gina becoming devastated after seeing that the magic lamp is dead and empty and that Giyath's bead is clear again.
