How quickly Midoriya suspects Toushiro after the Nomu's death. This is Midoriya, yet he barely gives Toushiro the benefit of the doubt and does not ask Toushiro what happened to see his side of the story.
Toushiro has a panic attack when his biology class watches a video about zombie wasps. He is left whimpering, crying, and empty-eyed on the floor. The teacher can't handle it (to Bakugo's disgust) and runs to get the nurse, leaving the students to try to help their friend.
Uraraka (one of the friendliest characters Toushiro befriended) is afraid of Toushiro after he kills All-for-One though she later says she may just be scared for him. Her following comment that Toushiro is "sick" is yet another emotional blow. While it could refer to his PTSD, the wording makes it seem like she believes Toushiro is broken in some way and needs to be fixed before she accepts him. She also says she's close to giving up on helping him.
Toushiro is so used to rejection he can't understand why Midoriya and Bakugo forgive him, still think he's a good person, and still want to be his friends. He's genuinely confused why they still like him after everything.
Toushiro reveals that his and Momo Hinamori's relationship fell apart after the Winter War. She lost her smile and continued to blame him for the bad things that happened to her through association like he was The Jinx. This causes Toushiro to subconsciously blame himself as well.
