Unsurprisingly, considering this is a story that centers around suicide and the cultivating of souls, there's bound to be a few Tear Jerkers in this story.
- For once in his life, Taburo actually cares for someone other than himself. In this case, it is Maruso. When he decides to book it out of the villa, he is genuinely concerned for her for all of the hardships she had gone through, and decides to go free her. Unfortunately, he appears to be too late, as by now, Maruso is on the brink of death. She appears to be so traumatized that all she can do is dread what's about to come. She also has continuous fits of terror, and appears to be in a very vegitative state. Taburo leaves her there, shocked by what he just saw. Afterwards, the doppelganger that initially drove him to suicide had come back to haunt him.
