Belph's route

  • Belph revealing his backstory to Elcia and how low his opinion of himself is, ending it with a declaration of how much he hates Elcia.
Belph: "Watching you is like watching my reflection in the mirror. Being around you can only remind me of just how disgusting and pitiful I've become."
  • Elcia coming close to giving Belph what was likely an Aborted Declaration of Love after realizing that Belph is likely Irina's murderer, while Belph acts utterly (and uncharacteristically) passive through it all.
Elcia: "Before I came here, I had so many questions I wanted to ask. But I realize that perhaps, I've never wanted to know the answer. Irina was my best friend. And you—-"
    Belph: "What about me?"
  • And the immediate reveal afterwards that, of course, he's just trying to protect her with all of this, with Trole pointing it out: that Belph is willing to go so far for her and receive only her resentment in return. Belph notes that it's fine, because "she's never liked me in the first place."
  • In his Bad End, Belph pulling off a Heroic Sacrifice via giving up his freedom so that Elcia can walk away unharmed, not helped by the heavy implication that he's basically promising Trole not to commit suicide. The fact that the scene is rampant with Ironic Echoes, while Elcia and Belph try to act completely normal only makes everything all the worse. It's the culmination of all their tension throughout the route as their relationship shatters to pieces, ending on a note of regret as Elcia walks away and never looks back.

Yuras's route

  • His Bad End, where he loses it and kills Brash and the others. It's the CG of him, standing amidst the bloody mess, that really sells it and highlights just how messed up his life has been.

Rexus's route

  • Rexus's reason for always wanting to help others: because he feels like he was a failure of a son before his parents died. And then, when he finds his purpose in protecting Essi, the fact that everyone was displaced to different dimensions means that he doesn't even know where she is anymore, and so he feels like he's failed yet again.
  • Elcia tying up loose ends before she goes off to make her Heroic Sacrifice.
  • Elcia dying in Rexus's arms in order to save the timelines, with Rexus realizing that his life work was leading up to this moment, especially after Rexus and Elcia's discussion on destiny and how Rexus believes in it. Ferim's monotonous outlook on the situation, if anything, only makes it harsher.
Ferim: "I believe humans call it 'sacrifice.' "

Livan's route

  • Elcia's death in the Bad End, with Livan calling out for her, but her unable to respond as she bleeds out from her injuries.
  • In the Good End:
    • Elcia admitting to herself that she might've known all along that Livan was responsible for Irina's death, but didn't want to believe it.
    • In the flashback, after the avalanche, Livan pulls Elcia's body out from the snow, waiting to die alongside her—before he realizes that, in his desperation, he can use the Silver Orb to undo all of this. In the present, Elcia points out the irony of his wish: the life he gave her was one with no more opportunities than the one he freed her from.
Livan: "You cannot stop me. You can only be the witness. Look. It's the birth of a new world. A world I created for Elcia. In that world, you can start anew. You are no longer bound by the cold mountain. You can go anywhere you want. You can watch the stars from different sides of the world. You can visit the sea and feel the breeze. You can go to tropical islands and eat all kinds of fruits. Elcia... As long as I know that you are alive somewhere—-that is more than enough for me."
    • Elcia asking Livan if they can go to the Seaport one last time, both realizing that Elcia has made up her mind as to what to do. There, Elcia mentions how she's glad she got to see this beautiful world, knowing that she wouldn't have were it not for what Livan did. But ten years has been long enough, hasn't it?
    • Livan telling her that he doesn't regret what he did, before Elcia decides that her life "was a long dream. But... it was a beautiful one", before moving to make her Heroic Sacrifice. At this point, she begins crying for the first time since she promised not to, ten years ago, clutching Livan who tells her this:
Livan: "It's okay. It's okay to cry. It has been long enough. You don't have to hold onto it anymore."

Ferim's route

  • Elcia assuring Belph everything will be fine as she heads off to Area-X. It's a lie, and both of them know it—after all, Belph can always tell when she lies, or has she forgotten?
  • The reason Elcia cites for being glad that Ferim's with her? "I guess no one wants to die alone."
  • With Rexus yelling at him, admitting to being angry at himself but, most of all, angry at Livan for his attitude, Livan's forced to admit that no, there's no way Elcia's happy with how things are and that he might've known that all along.
  • The entirety of Elcia and Ferim's attempt to save the timelines, overlapping with Heartwarming Moment:
    • Ferim telling Elcia that rather than sacrifice herself, she owes it to everyone around to her find a way to survive and live out her future.
    • Ferim's reasoning behind his Heroic Sacrifice, underlying just how little he thinks of himself, especially after Elcia calls out his name:
Ferim: "My name is not Ferim. No matter the body, the name, or the identity—-none of them belong to me. I was created to restore time back to normal. Once my purpose is done, I will disappear either way."
Elcia: "No... That's not fair! The one should've disappeared is me! Why must you disappear instead of me?"
Ferim: "No, Elcia. You are different. You are meant to live."
    • The fact that nobody remembers what happened, including Ferim's very existence, and he informs Elcia of this as if it's nothing to be sad over. For that matter, the fact that, if the credits in V2 are any indication, the new world Ferim created gives virtually everyone in Otome-X up to that point a happy ending with the sole exception of Ferim, who's retconned out of existence, and this is the best fate he could hope for.

Memory of Ice

  • The entire ending, as Ferim (Time Manager) and the original Ferim, who's on his deathbed, talk about why the latter would die for Yuras's sake, despite having once said that humans strive to survive above all else and original!Ferim admitting how much he still wants to live.
