• The Merle Border Collie's story about the earthquake:

  Actually, I don't just know about it. I lost my leg in the disaster. I used to have a master too, and I believe he really loved me... but now I'm a stray.

• The Rescue Dog's story:
  Rescue Dog: I helped out with the rescue after the earthquake. All of us - both humans and the rescue dogs - gave our all to save more people. I only regret I couldn't save more.
• Diary of a Dog 2 is about the Field Dog and Grandma dealing with Grandpa's death.
  After Grandpa passed away, Grandma has been always so sad. Even when I went with her to her favorite park for a walk, I still couldn't make her happy. How could I have been so foolish back then?
• Old Tom is based on real life pet Tom, who died. That's why his character has angel wings.
