* Even before ''Bender's Game'', there were numerous shout outs to ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' in the series, ranging from the obvious (Gary Gygax showing up in "Anthology of Interest") to the subtle (ranging from a rust monster at a veterinary hospital to a beholder in "How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back").
