Undercover is a series about a pair of cops who pose as a couple in order to infiltrate a large ecstasy operation in Belgium. The second season sees an infiltration into arms trafficking in Belgium. Not to be confused with the various other shows also named Undercover.
This program provides examples of:
- Darkest Hour: The investigation is closed down with nothing to show for their trouble and Ferry flees to the Carribean.
- Dirty Cop: Walter provides information about police investigations to the drug dealers.
- Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace: Invoked and subverted. At Peter and Anja's wedding, the officiant skips the line, but Ferry interrupts and tells him that he's supposed to ask if anyone objects and says he objects. Then he immediately says he was just joking and launches into a speech about how much the couple meant to him.
- You Have Failed Me: Invoked by Bob. He frames Jurgen for a fatal hit and run, which combined with Jurgen's known record of drinking and anger problems, causes John to kill him. In the pilot, John also kills another member of the gang who let two workers escape from a drug lab and then tried to cover it up.
