* WaveMotionGun: Harris uses some stored tech to build the X-Cannon inside the torso of MechX4. A direct hit from this weapon will reduce the target into a pool of superheated goo. And that was an monster designed specifically to defeat MechX4. The weapon can only be used once before Ryan has to recover from the effort of using it, but considering the result, he won't need to fire it for a second blast....

In ''Let's Be Idiots!'', Seth does genuinely want to warm up to Mark to reassure Grace. This forms the basis of the [[TwoLinesNoWaiting B story]] of Seth trying to get Mark into a sold out EDM show without using his status as a rich CEO.
* PopCulturalOsmosisFailure: Type 1: Leo jokes that when he was first captured by the Leader, "[[Music/TaylorSwift Taytay]] was reintroducing the crop top." When Ryan responded that he had "no clue what that was", Leo immediately felt older than he was expecting because he was referencing something recent by 2017 standards.

* SaveTheVillain: Ryan attempts to save [[spoiler: Principal Grey]] from a DisneyVillainDeath, insisting that no-one dies, not even them. He fails, although whether they actually died is left ambiguous.
