An index of works set in forests of any kind, from your stock temperate woods to rain forests to even otherworldly ones that are made of stone instead of trees. The only condition is that a forest is the primary setting. A character going into the woods for a few minutes doesn't count.In media, especially Fairy Tales, forests often are more than mere locations. They help set the tone as it's easy to portray them as dangerous or mystical places where adventure awaits. Or as a calm refuge that shan't be disturbed, or else.
