Death's Clockworks
is a supernatural horror story written by TabbyGirl472 inspired by many classic horror films.
A young Japanese Girl named Kaede and her adoptive sister,Touko has moved from the big city of Kyoto,Japan to the sleepy city of New Orleans,Louisiana. Her skill of fortune telling and foreseeing disastrous events made her popular in her community and many people look over to her for any disasters they think they're going to have. One day, a little boy comes to Kaede to read his future when he asks one question: When is he going to die? Kaede comes across the shocking realization that he's going to to die in the next 24 hours. She helps him evade his foresaw death due to a similar loss she suffered in the past.She's now has become the main target of the God of Death himself.

Death's Clockworks provides examples of the following tropes:
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Monika's friend group before Kaede joins. Monika is the titular redhead,Lexie is the blonde and Neptune is the dark skinned brunette.
- Did You Just Scam Cthulhu?: The main conflict of which the story kicks off is which Kaede agreed to help him to cheat his own death as he is a little boy as Death is appeared as a deity.
- Disappeared Dad: Kaede's father is never mentioned even in the beginning of the story. It's likely that he died.
- Happily Adopted: Downplayed; Touko is Kaede's older sister who was rescued from a abusive household when she was 9 years old. She's often is snotty to her adoptive mother sometimes.
- The Big Easy: The story takes place in the haunted city of New Orleans. Kaede's mother wanted the family to moved New Orleans not just becuase of being closer to family but she thought it was a great place to live from the movies she's seen.
