Character Shill is supposed to be when the story stops to a halt to promote a product. This identical to the definition of the trope Enforced Plug. This page acts as if the distinction between the two is that Enforced Plug is when "the characters try to work the shill into the story itself", something not mentioned in that page. I don't think the distinction is noteworthy to keep it as its own name regardless. Also, the name is confusing since it is so close to Character Shilling. Combine these factors with the fact that the trope is hardly thriving, it is clear that this trope should go away.
Solutions:1. Cut the trope and move accurate examples to Enforced Plug2. Disambiguate the page between Enforced Plug and Character Shilling if we want to preserve wicks.
