The series is a direct replacement for the previous Avengers Unlimited webcomic, but whereas that series focused on a wide range of characters and ran one-offs and short arcs, Avengers United initially uses the same core cast as The Avengers (2023) and tells much longer stories.
As with Marvel's other Infinity Comic webcomics, it's a single-column vertically scrolling comic that's designed to be readable on a phone screen, rather than using a traditional comic book approach to panels and pages.
As an Infinity Comic, the series is initially only available via the Marvel Unlimited app.
Avengers United contains examples of the following tropes:

- Killed Mid-Sentence:

- Wham Line: In the first arc, centred around the violent struggle between planet Ghesh and the rebel colony of Yun-To, the Avengers finally breach the blockade and reach Yun-To. At which point Captain Marvel surveys the moon and says "Dead. Everyone here is already dead". The whole struggle is seemingly a lie.
