Wilburgur's Oblivion series (usually lovingly referred to as Autism-Cat, after the main character) began life as a slightly whacky but none too odd Oblivion Let's Play.

It went in a completely different direction not too long after that.

This video series provides examples of:

  • Author Catchphrase: "Reee", it started by appearing in video titles, then it was repeated frequently across Wilburgur's other series, and was even said by Gilbert Gottfried of all people when he made his guest appearance in the series.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The Series began as a mostly straightforward playthrough of Oblivion, albeit with several humorous custom spells added, and liberal use of the ingame console and exploits. The amount of editing and changes to the game gradually increased over time, and by the time of The Timeline reset after "Completing Oblivion in 5 minutes", the series focused more on custom quests and content, and treating Autism-Cat more as a character in his own right.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: The intro to Khajiit Bebop, much like the intro it is based on, contains text flying in the background. With precise pausing, it can be read, and all but gives away how Autism-Cat will be characterized from here on out.
"The champion of Cyrodiil. Autism-cat enjoys pretending to be 'the hero'... Secretly, he wishes to destroy all Tamriel and make mortals bend to his will. He is accumulating power at an astonishing rate. The time will come when Austim-cat reveals his true nature. Upon which it will be too late to stop him."
  • Remember the New Guy?: Autism-Cat's horse, Dave, appears in the third episode, with absolutely no explanation, and is treated as if he has always been present since the start.
