  • Lenny Henry parodied Wallace and Gromit with his sketch "The Right Trousers" ("produced by Well Haard Man Animations"), on his 1995 Christmas show. Wallace (played by Henry in a latex costume) invents a pair of robotic dancing trousers so that he can impress (and hopefully pull) women at the local nightclub. Gromit (also played by Henry in a latex costume) quickly figures out that because Wallace forgot to install an 'off' switch, the trousers dance whenever music is played — and sabotages Wallace by playing music on the radio just when he doesn't want to dance, ruining his master's chances of getting laid.

  • In the Armchair Historian episode "Falklands War from Argentina's Perspective," the host mentions that the Argentine Army was able to ambush a Royal Marine landing force because The BBC was running a story of how Great Britain was going to win the war by airing detailed reports of troop deployments during the campaign. Although the channel's historical recreations are done in 2-D, the segment was still done in the style of Wallace and Gromit, and the eponymous duo are even shown in Royal Marine uniforms blocking camera's live broadcast of their unit's deployment. The segment in question begins at the 18:40 mark.
