- Hannibal: In Season 3's eighth episode "The Great Red Dragon", Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) draws multiple sketches when held in his asylum cell, including one of Fortitude with the face of Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas).
- Medici: The Magnificent: The very first Botticelli painting seen in the series is Fortitude, befitting its status as the painter's first known masterpiece. Somehow, it's seen hanging in the dining hall of the Medici Palace in Part 1—the Medici family didn't commission the painting, statesman Tommaso Soderini did, for the Tribunale di Mercanzia of Florence. Lorenzo the Magnificent has it moved elsewhere in Part 2.
