Fan Works
- In Neither a Bird nor a Plane, it's Deku!, a random U.A. student shouts that he loves Izuku's speech. Izuku internally breathes a sigh of relief as he thinks, "I love it too, random citizen!", referencing Metro Man thanking one of his fans by saying, "I love you too, random citizen!"
- The Techno Queen's * favorite movie is Megamind, and she has a Frequently Kidnappee Card issued to Dinah.
Film - Animation
- In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, April compares the Fly's criminal acts to Megamind, as well as Gru from Despicable Me.
Western Animation
- Robot Chicken: A sketch from "Snoopy Camino Lindo in: Quick and Dirty Squirrel Shot" has Megamind unable to fit into an MRI for his examination.
- The human guise Strickler from Trollhunters wears clothes almost identical to that of Bernard from Megamind. This is especially telling because in both contexts, the appearance is shown to just be a glamour used to blend in with human society, both users of the appearance having stolen them and using them to eventually woo a woman (Roxanne with Megamind, Barbara with Strickler).
