- SPY×FAMILY author Tatsuya Endo is a Kumi Sasaki fan and used her likeness for a painting in his story, named "A Lady in the Sun" (日向の貴婦人 Hinata no Kifujin).* He also referenced various scenes from Hinatazaka de Aimashō and other appearances, and redrew Kumi's giraffe Original Character from Hinabingo! to commemorate the release of the manga's chapter 46.
- Fiona Frost imitates Kyoko Saito's "suukii" line (with the unusual spelling すぅきぃ as in the show's subtitle).
- Becky's dress on the cover of volume 9 has very similar pattern to the costumes for "Kyun".
- Franky's brief Love Interest Monica McBride was primarily based on Miku Kanemura, as confirmed by Endo in the Eyes Only official artbook. They have the same blood type, height, and month of birth (the Disney+ subs actually mistranslated it as September 10, the same as Miku's), and her weight is 46 kg.
- In chapter 60, Franky wears Akari Nibu's infamous "Bear & Chicken" sweatshirt (in real life, graphic shirts were only becoming popular in The '60s, by which the show is inspired).
- Anya's execution of her dodgeball "finishing move" looks very similar to Shiho Kato's powerful yet totally misdirected baseball pitching on the variety show.
- Chapter 67 of the manga reveals that Anya's classmate/rival Damian sleeps with a plushie that looks a lot like Poka.
- A tour of Endo's studio during Jump Festa 2022 revealed that he has several Poka plushies around the office.
- He occasionally posts illustrations related to the group on his Twitter too, such as his seat position at the 2022 Tokyo Dome concert, a sketch of Kumi watching the SPYxFAMILY anime adaptation premiere after she mentioned that she was going to watch it, and his character Anya reenacting various photos of the members, like wearing Kumi's spy outfit from Hinatosho.
- The first stage adaptation of the manga featured Mirei Sasaki as one of the two actresses playing Yor Forger.
- Aka Akasaka occasionally puts references to the group in his works, and he was the illustrator for the Original Hinatazaka manga mini-series.
- In Kaguya-sama: Love Is War chapter 166, Kazeno becomes an Ohisama after being dumped. He even wears a T-shirt with illustration in Hinano Kamimura's art style and does the Hinanonano pose. Of course, Hinano is delighted about it.
- The second Live-Action Adaptation released in 2021 featured Yuka Kageyama as Miko Iino.
- In Oshi no Ko chapter 56, a character calls another "tartar chicken" as an insult, after Akari Nibu's infamous quiz answer in Hinatazaka de Aimashō.
- Ruby was called Sarina in her past life, which happens to be the same as Sarina Ushio.
- In Kaguya-sama: Love Is War chapter 166, Kazeno becomes an Ohisama after being dumped. He even wears a T-shirt with illustration in Hinano Kamimura's art style and does the Hinanonano pose. Of course, Hinano is delighted about it.
- Hunter × Hunter creator Yoshihiro Togashi is a Keyakizaka and Sakurazaka fan and has referenced their subgroup as well, such as when a character puts on the "hi" pose.
- The Saitama-based Belc supermarket chain has changed their chicken nanban branding to "Tartar Chicken" and borrowed Miku Kanemura's "Osushikanai!" catchphrase for their actual sushi products.
- Let's Play with Babymetal-chan author Ariyuki Hirosue included Kumi Sasaki (drawn in Shiho Kato's art style, as shown in Hinatazaka de Aimashō) in his illustration of BABYMETAL's appearance in the 2020 Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
- An episode of The Dangers in My Heart features a discussion about an idol group named Lemonzaka46 and its member Honoka Saito. The group appears on the cover of UTV magazine, with a very similar pose to that of Hinatazaka46 on the real-life August 2019 cover of UTB magazine.
