• Japanese sci-fi writer Rikao Yanagita used Giant Baba as, of all things, a scientific unit to compare feats between sci-fi characters to determine who was the strongest sci-fi character in history. He determined one unit of Giant Baba as 120kg in terms of force, 3300 joules in terms of energy and 2.2 horsepower in terms of output; for example, Ultraman's 1 million horsepower would equal 45,000 Giant Babas, while his foe Red King's punch's strength of 125 million tonnes would be 15 billion Giant Babas. The winner was Zetton, whose one-trillion-degrees Celsius fireball is equal to one hundred and ten octillion Giant Babas.
