Memories Within Yuki is the 10th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure!.
With Pretty Holic being a success in Animal Town, Mayu is tasked with coming up with designs for a new product, during which an encounter with Iroha and Komugi causes her to recall her first meeting with Yuki.
Tropes:
- Book Ends: The first designs Mayu is shown making causes her to miss hearing the teacher calling for her, and the last design she makes causes her to miss out on the Cures purifying the Garugaru right outside her window.
- Dog Walks You: Komugi does this to Iroha when she mistakes a soccer ball for a Garugaru egg causing Iroha to trip. As Wonderful she does this to the Garugaru after it unfurls Friendy's Ribbon Barrier per Satoru's plan.
- Double-Meaning Title: "Yuki" in the title refers to the cat and the snowy village Mayu found her in. This is signified by how it's written in katakana instead of the kanji.
- "Eureka!" Moment: After struggling to make and pick a good design, Mayu finally realizes what she wants to make after hearing Iroha saying that she would want to see Yuki's smile.
- Failed a Spot Check: Even though the Garugaru was right outside her house with the Cures chasing it, Mayu was so engrossed in working on her design that she didn't notice anything, unlike Yuki, who watched it in admiration.
- Loophole Abuse: Mayu's dad told Mayu to not touch Yuki since she is a stray cat that doesn't like to interact with humans. However, Mayu still kept talking to the stray cat along with leaving some of her clothing to keep her warm. This caused Yuki to go with Mayu out of her own will.
- Origins Episode: A part of the episode reveals how Mayu adopted Yuki.
- Rascally Raccoon: The Garugaru this week is a raccoon, whose nimble fingers are used to tear and throw everything it gets its hands on and unfurl Friendy's Ribbon Barrier.
- Wham Shot: The end of the episode shows that Yuki's ribbon now has a heart on it similar to Komugi's ribbon after she turned into a Cure.
