Episode 89: Guys from Gotham
Takes place February 16-17
Paul spends a night chasing criminals in Gotham City, since he lives there now (apartment-sitting for Jade). He has moderate success, but comes to the conclusion that he just doesn't care enough about Gotham to keep doing so, and that he'll leave it to the Bat-family in the future.
- Bat Signal: The original one actually gets switched on. However, since Batman is overseas, Paul drops by to help.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Paul has a night full of these. He gets bored since they're not really worth his time.
- Life Drinker: Paul comes across an ancient sorcerer, "Doctor Gotham", who apparently alternates between hibernation and draining others' life force to survive. Too bad for him that Paul binds him in magic-suppressing chains before he finishes waking up. And then refuses to call him by his chosen moniker.Paul: Not without a doctorate from an appropriately notable educational establishment, Mister Gotham.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Batwoman is unhappy that Paul barged in and arrested a drug dealer instead of covertly searching for his backer.
