A tech CEO had a man murdered to steal a new technology. Peter goes undercover as an accountant running an audit and brings Neal in in marketing.
Tropes:
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Trent down in marketing is a douche and no one likes him.
- Internal Reveal: Neal and Mozzie know Peter has the music box; Peter learns Neal has the missing cherub.
- The Mole: Jessica is upset about the murder and trying to steal files to prove it.
- Revealing Cover Up: Kent claimed he had a working prototype of new tech, but it wasn't ready yet. He couldn't get a US defense contract if the prototype wasn't working, so he decided to sell overseas (treason) and his tech guy, Hayes, wouldn't go along with it. So Kent had him murdered and claimed the prototype was stolen.
- Revenge Before Reason: Jessica was in love with Hayes and she wants Kent to pay, so she poisons him the same way he poisoned Hayes. Unfortunately, Peter gets caught in it, too.
- Smart People Know Latin: Neal, Peter, and Kent all trade Latin phrases with ease.
- The Unreveal: Neal slots the cherub into the keyhole in the music box. He and Peter open the music box... cut to credits.
