When the Bear's old friend Darrel is in danger of going out of business, the Bears become an ursine taxi service to drum up the rent.
Tropes:
- Bland-Name Product: Buddy Ride is a pretty clear analogue of Lyft. Down to the pink car accessory.
- Call-Back: The Bears end up helping out Darrel, the mouse pad salesman from "Losing Ice".
- Chekhov's Gag: Darrel holds up an old two-dollar bill he got from his grandma as a kid, but it blows away in the wind. Near the end of the episode the Bears find it again, and use it to help Darrel pay off his rent.
- Chekhov's Gunman: The surly, jerkass Buddy Ride driver the Bears ditch near the beginning of the episode ends up trying to take Darrel's landlord to the mouse pad shop.
- Continuity Nod: While taking a short cut through Chinatown, the Bears cut through the acupuncture shop and the cat cafe from "Chicken and Waffles".
- Panda's sneeze also comes back when they go through the aforementioned cafe.
- Didn't Think This Through: The Bears are fired from Buddy Ride because Ice Bear is not a registered vehicle.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Ice Bear isn't in a hurry to ditch the pink eyelashes he gets.
- Saving the Orphanage: The Bears join Buddy Ride in order to help Darrel pay the overdue rent on his store. Afterwards, they help him drum up more business so he won't have this problem again.
- Shout-Out: Ice Bear name drops The Fast and the Furious and Tokyo Drift.
