Vampire Weekend
Magic pendants cause Vee and Poppy to magically switch places with each other in that Vee becomes a human girl and Poppy becomes a vampire girl. They at first enjoy their new biological changes, but then yearn to go back to their old bodies.
Tropes:
- Celestial Deadline: The magic of the full moon pendants become permanent once the full moon rises in the sky.
- Heavy Sleeper: Vee's main issue over becoming human is she sleeps longer hours and can't stay awake as much as she wants to anymore.
- Morphic Resonance: When Vee turns human, she keeps her regular pigtails but not bat-shaped, while Poppy gets a bat decoration on her headband and bat-shaped hair beads as a vampire.
- "Freaky Friday" Flip: The full moon pendants magically switch Vee and Poppy's identities.
- Race Against the Clock: Vee and Poppy have until the moon rises in the sky to reunite their pendants and switch back, or they'll be stuck with each other's identities forever.
- Shout-Out: The title is a reference to the band with the same name.
The Bird Who Knew Too Much
Vee and Poppy have to stop the class pet from revealing Vee's identity to Edgar.
Tropes:
- Blatant Lies: Vee's excuses toward her true identity as usual, but they become a plot point here.
- Help, I'm Stuck!: Gregoria gets stuck in the fence.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Vee and Poppy actually use the song in the episode as a tall tale to prevent Edgar from finding out Vee's secret.
- Mundane Made Awesome: The song "Get Her Unstuck" has Vee, Poppy and Demi singing about what they could do to get Gregoria out of the fence.
- Repeat After Me: Kiwi is prone to this.
