It’s Halloween again and the gang is telling scary stories.

Tropes:

  • Abandoned Camp Ruins: In their story, Master Frown and Brock (aka the 1st and 2nd Coolest Dudes in the World) take the group to a haunted campsite at an abandoned lake to see a skeleton.
  • Alien Abduction: In Dr. Fox’s story, she and her friends end up getting abducted by aliens.
  • And Then John Was a Zombie: Because there were too many possessed monsters to fight, the boxer ends up becoming one himself in Puppycorn’s version of the story.
  • An Arm and a Leg: To stop the haunted boxing glove, Hawkodile has no choice but to remove his own arm. He is a Lego though, so no harm done.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Unable to remove the boxing glove from his hand, Hawkodile states that there’s only one thing left to do and pulls out a mace, implying that he’s going to take his arm off with it. Instead, he throws the dangerous weapon to the side.
Hawkodile: I gotta get rid of this thing, someone could get hurt!
  • Brain Food: During the “Full Moon Dance” song, monstrous versions of Puppycorn and Hawkodile are shown getting ready to eat Unikitty’s brain.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The mace Hawkodile throws to the side, ends up being the weapon the disembodied glove uses to attack him.
  • Delicious Distraction: While listing all of the haunted things that end up being evil in his story, Puppycorn gets distracted and starts naming off foods he’s hungry for.
  • Dem Bones: Master Frown and Brock’s story is about them going to go see a creepy skeleton, but it ends up coming to life.
Skeleton: I’m a spooky scary skeleton!
  • Demonic Possession: The boxing glove Hawkodile finds is possessed and won’t stop punching everything in sight.
  • Evil All Along: Puppycorn’s additions to Hawkodile’s story all end up being this. The haunted action figure was evil, the boxer’s friends were evil, and everything in the house was evil.
  • Faux Horrific:
Hawkodile: This story begins in the most terrifying way imaginable…with too much backstory!
    • Richard’s story, and the only one that ends up scaring the trick-or-treaters, is about going trick-or-treating and only getting granola bars with raisins.
  • Fourth Wall Psych: At first the group appears to be telling the stories to the audience, but in the end it's revealed that they’re really talking to some trick-or-treaters.
  • Halloween Episode: The group spends Halloween handing out candy and telling scary stories.
  • Halloween Songs: “Full Moon Dance”
  • Poking Dead Things with a Stick: Brock was surprised to not find the skeleton in the bushes by the lake, because he and Master Frown had just been poking it with a stick earlier.
  • Power Fist: Hawkodile finds a boxing glove that gives him incredible punching power, but also happens to be haunted and evil.
  • Real After All: Dr. Fox’s story about an Alien Invasion is shown to be this at first, but it ends up being an elaborate show to scare some trick-or-treaters.
  • Shout-Out
    • Hawkodile’s hand getting possessed and having to cut it off is a reference to Evil Dead 2.
    • The characters going on an adventure to see a dead body is similar to the plot of Stand by Me.
  • Scary Flashlight Face: Master Frown does this to Jump Scare the rest of the group during his scary story.
  • Second-Person Attack: Hawkodile punches at the camera in his story about a haunted boxing glove.
