Against stacked odds
Being unable to skip these series of quests lest UMA Revolution be added, Fuuko seeks out Top Bull Sparx to bolster the Union's forces. However, one of the 10 master rules is determined to crush the Union here and bring on a new era of his rule where humans are hunted in mass. Chapters

- Curb-Stomp Cushion: While not invincible, Fuuko has proven herself a mighty combatant with her mastery of Unluck and martial arts training. However, UMA Beast easily dominates their fight until Top and Haruka join the fray.
- Developer's Foresight: When Sun created the quest system, the greater number of penalties allow for greater threats like the master rules to be summoned into the quests. This means anyone exploiting the skips, like Fuuko, will rack up a great number of penalties which will make things harder in addition to the rules being added. This means that while Apocalypse only needs two master rules for this round of quests, the Union nearly faces the whole roundtable. It's only thanks to Andy's intervention that only two of the weakest manage to get away and the stronger are made to stay.
- Loophole Abuse: Julia is currently not a negator or meant to participate in the quest to neutralize Beast, but collecting the unluck-infused parts of his soul from the fallen ancient organisms are considered fair game. When they rejoin with Beast, it allows for Top to land a fatal hit using his runner's regalia.
- Sadistic Choice: Fuuko has the choice to either neutralize two Master Rules (when the weakest member had given the Union a difficult fight) or face the Revolution penalty. She ultimately chooses to take the former and dedicate efforts to finding the reincarnated Juiz as they'll need Unjustice to have any chance of winning against them.
- Soul Power: Multiple different kinds:
- Fuuko manages to communicate with the previous holders of Unluck.
- Beast is capable of consuming parts of different beings and the soul connected with them. This allows him to use Unbreakable.
- Part of Beast's power is to use soul chains to control the various beasts around him. In phase 3, he can revive ancient beasts using this power, although he no longer needs to be connected to them.
- The Reveal: During a discussion between UMA Soul and Luna, it's revealed that unlike all the other UMA, he was created by Luna and not Sun. Given the differing motivations between the latter two, it further calls Luna's true goals into question.
