Arusu finds herself captured alongside a mina fairy in the Witch Realm. She soon meets her supervisors, the apprentice witches Sheila and Eva. She wins Eva over with a chestnut, prompting the latter to give her a Flying Broomstick. The chestnut proves Arusu is a human because there are no edible nuts in the Magical Realm.
"The Witch Realm" provides examples of:
- Tastes Like Friendship: Arusu wins Eva over by feeding a chestnut to her at the first meeting. Eva rewards her by releasing her from the cage because these are not native to the Magical Realm, so she has never eaten anything so sweet before.
