After firing Leighton from Valco (under orders from Lorraine), Julie ends up getting branded as a traitor by her employees. The No Nonsense range comes in handy for a pregnant Sue.
This episode contains examples of:
- Pyrrhic Victory: Even though Julie manages to rehire Leighton in the end, the Valco employees believe Gavin was the one who did it and Julie is still a traitor. Things go worse for Julie in the next episode.
- The Scapegoat: Throughout the whole episode, Julie gets backlash from her employees because of Leighton’s sacking, even though it was Lorraine’s decision in the first place. It doesn’t change for Julie even after she rehired Leighton.
