37F - Hell Train: Wooden Horse

    Season 2: Ch. 160 (Chapter 239)

The D-rank team of Boro, Hanool, and Danhwa are seen arriving on foot at the outskirts of the 37th Floor's Wooden Horse train station. The station being a floating platform in the shape of a gold horse. Boro explains how the stations work to Hanool and Danhwa, such as how Rankers aren't allowed in, and that they become battlefields amongst the Regulars who are trying to board the Hell Train. An automated transport then arrives to Boro, Hanool, and Danhwa's location, which they get on it to travel up to the Wooden Horse station. During the journey up, Boro further explains how those with tickets get station waiting rooms, but those who don't have tickets will be waiting at the station plaza fighting to get one off newcomers. Thus, he figures that tonight when the Hell Train arrives at 11pm, and the 30 minute time limit before boarding takes place at 11:30, is going to be a complete disaster.

At that same time, Team Rachel prepares for arriving at said station aboard the Hell Train. Amongst Team Rachel, Angel and Buelsar are tasked to watch over their tied up Wangnan and Ehwa prisoners in their lounge room. Wangnan and Ehwa call out the members of Team Rachel for waking up a monster like Hoaqin. Angel ignores Wangnan, but knowing that Ehwa's a member of the Great Yeon Family, she calls out Ehwa in return as a spoiled brat for being blind to the crimes that the Great Families have done to people in the Tower, such how they sexually abuse people. Thus, heavily implying that Angel's the daughter of a rape victim to a Great Family member.

Meanwhile, Hoaqin is seen with Daniel in another Hell Train lounge room. Hoaqin remains impatient wanting to eat some souls and kill Jue Viole Grace as soon as possible, but is also surprised that Daniel has gone this far into supporting him despite what happened between them in the past since Daniel wishes to use Hoaqin's power to revive Roen. In return, Daniel can't believe it either as he remembers back to a failed solo attempt on the Hell Train trying to bring back Roen only to come across Hoaqin of all people offering to help him out.

Resting in another lounge room is Rachel and Hwaryun. The latter of which finds it surprising that Team Rachel doesn't tie her up like Wangnan and Ehwa. Hwaryun notes that she's going to return to Bam, which Rachel figures that imprisoning her is pointless given that Hwaryun's Tower Guide abilities will allow her to easily escape. Rachel also explains that Bam doesn't matter to her as long as she finds teammates to help her climb the Tower, which she's betting on Hoaqin teaming up with her by using Emily's helpful information as a bargaining chip to win him over. She tells Hwaryun that just having teammates to rely on is enough for her, even if she has fake friendships with them.

As the the Boro, Hanool, and Danhwa trio waits in their Wooden Horse room, they Pocket call Bam's group to know their current location. Somewhere on the 37th Floor, Bam's group is seen quickly boarding a floating transport ship heading for the Wooden Horse station as they're still attempting to finally catch up to the Hell Train. Khun informs Boro that it was already going to be a close call for them, but having to escape from Jinsung put them even more behind schedule. However, Khun assures Boro that they will do what they can to make it in time.

At the Wooden Horse station, the Boro, Hanool, Danhwa team are forced to wait until Bam and company arrive. Shortly after, Team Aka arrives at the station and greets Boro's group; having brought along their old teammate, Sachi of the top-3 D-rankers. Sachi explains how he never imagined returning to the Hell Train, but became interested upon hearing that Hoaqin, the demon that caused them trouble in the past, is being awoken. As the Hell Train arrives at the Wooden Horse station, Team Rachel sets up a "special event" through the Emily terminal to gather everyone at the station platform. Their plan being for Hoaqin to kill them off, and eat their souls to regain some of his lost strength. Back at the Wooden Horse station, Sachi is told the story from Boro and Aka about Daniel's plan to awaken Hoaqin in order to resurrect Roen. They then get the message on their handheld Emily terminal about the event, which the Hell Train is seen docking at the Wooden Horse. Team Rachel then gets up to head out, which Hoaqin remains hyped to eat the prey waiting for him at the station.

    Season 2: Ch. 161 (Chapter 240)

After the Hell Train stations itself at the 37th Floor's Wooden Horse platform, the Regulars all gather at the stations outside altar for the event mentioned on Emily. Along with the Boro and Aka teams, Team Bero from the Train City tournament, and two Regulars that were sent by Jinsung to kill Hoaqin, are seen amongst the crowd.

The Hell Train's side entrance then opens up, which Hoaqin steps out hyped to eat some souls. However, the Slayer Candidate's quickly pulled back in by Daniel. The latter warning the Slayer Candidate that Hoaqin can't step out too far from the Hell Train due to the seal keeping him attached to the express until his complete form returns. Hoaqin and Daniel argue over each other's goals getting messed up, which Daniel advises Hoaqin to wait until all the Regulars have gathered on the Wooden Horse. However, Rachel and her team reunite with them, which she assures Hoaqin and Daniel that everyone's already gathered thanks to Emily's event message. Thus, Hoaqin's fine to begin the hunt.

Hoaqin and Team Rachel exit the Hell Train's side entrance to greet the Regulars who've appeared for the Wooden Horse event. The members of Boro's past team being left stunned in disbelief at the sight of Hoaqin being released, but remain confused as to why he's small in size. Remaining at the side entrance, Hoaqin announces the event as a Killing Game, explaining that he will provide any Regular an Express Ticket if they manage to kill four others on the station. The Regulars refuse to go along with it, but Hoaqin shuts them up by displaying his power as a member of the sword-using Great Arie Family. With just one swing of his sword, Hoaqin launches a blast of shinsu that cuts across the Wooden Horse's altar; killing many Regulars. Because of Hoaqin's soul-eating power, the dead Regulars' souls appear out of their body, and are implied to have been sucked up by Hoaqin.

As a result of Hoaqin's attack, several Regulars, including the two people sent by Jinsung to deal with Hoaqin, step forward to take part in the event. However, Jinsung's Regulars order Hoaqin to be one of the five to fight in their group, which peaks Hoaqin's interest.

    Season 2: Ch. 162 (Chapter 241)

A flashback is seen to Boro's past team's Hell Train journey 600 years ago. Within the Hell Train, Boro's group and Hoaqin's other allies all gather to figure out who killed Hoaqin's most loyal subordinate, Bollack. Later on, Daniel approaches Roen knowing that she's the killer. However, Roen assures him that she had no choice but to kill Bollack since the guy had been abusing their teammate, Poro, and was going to kill them if they told on him. Roen also explains to Daniel how many Regulars have been disappearing, but in actuality, Hoaqin's taken over the Hell Train to the point of influencing his minions into killing one another. In return, Daniel takes this as a sign that Roen hates what the Hell Train has become under Hoaqin's rule, which he comes to view Hoaqin as the "King of Hell." Someone who creates a hell where he makes people kill each other, and enjoys the view.

In the present, Hoaqin's Killing Game on the Wooden Horse station altar goes on while a mysterious blue-haired person is seen floating high above the Hell Train. The blue-haired person noting that it's been awhile since he last looked upon the Hell Train. Meanwhile during the Killing Game, the two Regulars sent by Jinsung dispose of their group's opponent, which Hoaqin enjoys the view, and orders everyone to fight Jinsung's Regulars with Express Tickets as the reward for killing them. A massive battle breaks out, which Jinsung's two Regulars manage to hold everyone off on their own. This leaves Hoaqin impressed that they've managed to last so long despite being completely outnumbered.

Introducing themselves as Regulars sent by FUG, Jinsung's two Regulars order Hoaqin to fight them, and calls him out as a blasphemous D-ranker claiming to be a Slayer Candidate. In return, Hoaqin laughs at how stupid his opponents are for not knowing who he truly is, or the incredible power that he wields. Thus, Hoaqin decides to show it off. Finding the two Jinsung fighters to be worthy food, Hoaqin summons out his soul-power, which gathers above him. Hoaqin then drops his power down upon the Wooden Horse's altar as if it's a massive lightning bolt, which suddenly kills Jinsung's two Regulars off with a massive shinsu explosion. The blast also kills many of the surrounding Regulars. As a result, the souls of the dead leave their bodies for Hoaqin to eat. Seeing that Hoaqin's still as powerful as ever, Boro and company determine that they need to get on the Hell Train without fighting the Slayer Candidate, and get on the train despite Bam's group not arriving yet.

Time passes of no one trying to get on the Hell Train due to Hoaqin blocking the way. Once only 10 minutes are remaining before the train departs, Hoaqin and Team Rachel are about to head back into the express. However, they suddenly notice the combined Boro and Aka group, as well as Team Bero, making a run for a second unguarded Hell Train entrance that appeared further down the express. The sight of Boro enrages Hoaqin due to a past embarrassment where Boro read his sword move in a past duel. Before Hoaqin could act however, the Hell Train's suddenly struck by many large electric bolts, which disables the Hell Train from leaving the Wooden Horse station for a short period.

The lighting attack came from the blue-haired man that was floating above the Hell Train, who's heavily implied to have come from a Floor higher up the Tower. It turns out that this person was Khun's contact, who turns out to also be a member of the Khun Family, and is the person that Khun made a deal with to stall the Hell Train until they arrive. The contact then informs Khun over a Pocket that the deed is done, and claims that said little brother owes him one. Thanks to Khun's older brother contact, Bam's group manages to make it to the Hell Train. From a floating vehicle, Bam, Khun, and Rak jump off it to approach Hoaqin, and the members of Team Rachel, that are still standing on the stairs outside the train.

    Season 2: Ch. 163 (Chapter 242)

The Bam, Khun and Rak trio lands on the second Hell Train stairwell that Boro and company were heading towards. The three of them look to the other Hell Train stairwell where Hoaqin, Rachel, Yura and Daniel currently are, which they remain confused as to who the new guy completely in white is. In return, Hoaqin remains confused as to who the newcomers are. Boro then yells out to Bam's group to inform them that the white person they're looking at is the Hoaqin person that he warned them about.

Meanwhile aboard the Hell Train, Team Rachel's Buelsar and Angel decide to head out of their lounge room to make sense of what the ruckus is about as to why the Hell Train's not moving. Buelsar remaining convinced that their tied up hostages, Wangnan and Ehwa, won't be able to escape. However, Wangnan's seen holding the White Heavenly Mirror behind his back ready to cut the hostage ropes keeping them tied up.

Outside the Hell Train entrance, Team Sweet & Sour's Akraptor, Prince and Miseng are seen watching from the floating vehicle that they arrived on with Bam, Khun and Rak. They watch as Rak manages to piss off Hoaqin by not taking said Slayer Candidate seriously. The Regulars led by Boro, Aka, and Sachi eventually catch up to Bam's group on the stairs, which Daniel notices that the last of his old teammates, Sachi, is now here. Due to Rak pissing him off, Hoaqin's about to launch a blast of shinsu in his direction. However, it's quickly blocked by Bam suddenly jumping over to Hoaqin, and stopping the sword's movement with his foot, much to everyone's shock. The result is a close-combat duel between Hoaqin and Bam, which amazes the former that Bam's able to keep up with him.

While the two Slayer Candidates are dueling one another, Rak tries to jump over to the opposing staircase to join the fight. However, with the support of Rachel's Lighthouses giving him platforms to stand on, Daniel manages to hit Rak away from the group. As a result, Rak falls down to the station platform near the watching Team Bero. Daniel, Yura and Rachel then make their way over to the opposite staircase to block Bam's companions from entering the Hell Train. Daniel once more makes it clear that he won't let them into the Hell Train and get in the way of his plan to use Hoaqin to revive Roen, and that they should leave as Bam stands no chance against Hoaqin anyway. Khun steps forward to fight, but Sachi asks to be the one to do so as it's the past friends' job to knock some sense into him. Meanwhile, Yura remains confused as to why Danhwa appears to still be chasing after her. Rachel then looks back to the duel going on between Bam and Hoaqin, and hopes that Hoaqin can win given that he's the sword that she chose to climb the Tower with.

The close-combat duel between Bam and Hoaqin continues, which Bam admits that he's just barely keeping up with Hoaqin's speed. Seeing this as a moment to use the Thorn, Bam prepares to counter with the Flare Wave Explosion that he learned from Jinsung. In return, Hoaqin sees the Flare Wave Explosion forming, and finally understands that the one he's facing is the new Slayer Candidate, Jue Viole Grace. Hoaqin quickly cuts at Bam while he's in the midst of using the Flare Wave Explosion, which he appears to cut down Bam's face.

    Season 2: Ch. 164 (Chapter 243)

On the stairwell leading up to the Hell Train, Khun steps aside for Sachi Faker to deal with his old teammate, Daniel. Khun looks to the other Hell Train stairwell to check on how Bam's holding up against another Slayer Candidate only to see the moment where Hoaqin successfully slashes Bam. The cut wasn't deep, which Bam re-establishes himself. However, Bam remains confused as to how he's unable to see Hoaqin's sword swings. Khun uses his Lighthouses as platforms to try to head over and support Bam only to have his path blocked by Yura, who stands on Rachel's Lighthouse to block his way between the two stairwells. As Bam stands opposite Hoaqin, the latter catches on that the Thorn is providing Bam the power to keep up with him, but he remains unconvinced that Bam's capable of controlling it. The fact Hoaqin knows about the Thorn catches Bam's attention, which leaves Bam wondering how important Hoaqin is to FUG. The close-combat duel then continues. However, Bam gets struck again due to still not understanding how Hoaqin's sword combat works.

Meanwhile, Sachi confronts Daniel at the top of the second stairwell. Sachi yells at Daniel to come to his senses only for Daniel to repeat that he will do anything for the sake of resurrecting Roen. Daniel reminds Sachi of the moment that Roen chose to sacrifice herself aboard the Hell Train in order for her companions to live, which it became etched into his brain to the point that he can no longer live without her. Seeing his other teammates, Boro and Aka, standing alongside Sachi, Daniel calls all three of them out as people like him who are suffering guilt over Roen's death, which is why they're all unable to move on from the Hell Train. Daniel then powers up his Necromancer ability ready to fight his old comrades while claiming that they're all train ghosts who can't leave the Hell Train until Roen's alive again.

Between the two stairwells, Khun faces off against Yura while standing atop Lighthouses. Khun questions Yura's motives as to why she would side with Team Rachel. In return, Yura answers that she wants to become a true star rather than continue being the fake star that's surrounded by idiots, and that Rachel promised that it will happen. The sight of Hoaqin not being swayed by anyone as if he reigns over everything has also left her impressed as if she wants to be someone like that. Khun then sets up his Lighthouses to trap her in a Lighthouse field, which Yura remains confident that it will have no effect on her given the shinsu blocking ability of her special luggage carrier item. However, it turns out that what Khun was truly aiming for was Rachel's Lighthouse that she was standing on. Khun proceeds to damage Rachel's Lighthouse, which knocks Yura off it. Before Khun could finish off Yura however, he's distracted by the ongoing battle between Daniel and his former teammates.

Meanwhile, the close-combat duel between Bam and Hoaqin continues. Hoaqin's left disappointed that Bam seems to have reached his peak despite the initial boost from the Thorn. In return, Bam thinks things over, and starts to get the sense that he's figured out how Hoaqin's sword combat works. Almost as if his sword is a ghost that can attack him from any direction, which Bam deduces that it's not the sword he should be aiming for, but the "space" the sword strikes through. Hoaqin taunts that he's going to kill Viole's companions after him as Yura manages to teleport back up to Khun's location, and is about to stab the latter from behind.

Aiming to test his "space" hypothesis, Bam and Hoaqin are about to land the deciding blow on one another. However, its at this point that the captain of the Hell Train finally chooses to intervene. Everyone that was fighting outside the Hell Train is suddenly mass teleported into its Conductor's Office, much to Bam and company's confusion. A man in a chair implied to be the conductor is seen sitting in a chair looking down on the newcomers from a high ledge of the office, which he welcomes everyone to the Hell Train.

At that same time, Wangnan and Ehwa are shown to have escaped thanks to Wangnan cutting their ropes with the White Heavenly Mirror knife. They believe that Viole's now here due to the fighting going on outside, which they move to reunite with him and finally rescue Hwaryun. As they make their way through the Hell Train however, they stumble across a white-haired boy that looks like Hoaqin. The white-haired boy claims that he's lost, and asks for Wangnan and Ehwa to help him out.

    Season 2: Ch. 165 (Chapter 244)

Wangnan and Ehwa stand opposite the Hoaqin lookalike within the Hell Train. Seeing that Wangnan and Ehwa are confusing him for Hoaqin, the lookalike guesses that the two of them are Hoaqin's henchmen. Thus, he asks that they bring him to Hoaqin given that the two of them are looking for one another.

Meanwhile, Team Bam and Team Rachel and all remain within the Hell Train's Conductor office confused as to what's going on. Hwaryun also appears, and reunites with Bam. From the chair he's sitting on in the room, the captain introduces himself to the Bam and Hoaqin teams as Train Conductor Pedro, a Ranker who's also a subordinate to the FUG Slayer, Karaka. Khun and Hwaryun catch on that Pedro being a follower of Karaka, the FUG Slayer that planned to have Bam killed at the Workshop Battle, confirms that FUG's working behind-the-scenes to support Hoaqin. Due to the fact that he has two FUG Slayer Candidates before him, Pedro announces to Bam and Hoaqin that some time in the future, a game will be played between their two teams to decide who will be the true Slayer Candidate.

At another Hell Train location, Angel and Buelsar are seen together as they were on their way to reunite with Team Rachel when the fight outside was going on. They ended up being teleported to a new location due to Pedro's mass teleportation, which they start moving through the express to reunite with Team Rachel. Meanwhile, Rak is seen having also made it into the Hell Train thanks to Pedro's mass teleportation. He winds up being teleported into the express alongside the members of Team Bero (Bero, Tochi, Iruroe, and Pompidou). Bero questions Rak what's going on given that she caught on to the third things going on around Rak ever since the Train City tournament. Before Rak could answer however, they're met by Angel and Buelsar.

Back at the Conductor's Office, Hoaqin voices his complaint over the pointless game since FUG promised him his resurrection. Thus, Pedro should be on his side trying to help him regain his strength. However, Pedro informs him that the game is needed since not everyone within FUG wishes to see the split-form Hoaqin released, and that he himself made no such promise to Hoaqin specifically as he's just a fan of Yura, and wants to help her perform her last concert. Hearing about Hoaqin's resurrection, and is in a current split form, catches Khun's attention as he was under the impression that Hoaqin was a lone person. Pedro then continues on explaining that by winning his game, it will convince the opposing faction within FUG to accept Hoaqin's return to the organization.

Hearing the game proposal, Bam remains disinterested in taking part given that he's no longer a member of FUG. However, Pedro reminds Bam that the latter is always going to be FUG's hope as long as he remains in control of the Thorn. Pedro then forces Bam to take part in the game by revealing that he took several of Bam's companions captive. Sure enough, a cage is seen high up in the office, which Akraptor, Prince, Miseng, Blarode, and Quaetro are teleported into it as Pedro's prisoners. Pedro threatens to kill them if Bam chooses not to participate, which Bam's unable to say anything knowing that he has to play the game to save his friends. With Bam and Hoaqin now convinced, Pedro announces that the game will take place a month from now on the 38th Floor; threating that the losers of the game will be the ones that die.

Returning to Wangnan and Ehwa, the two of them walk alongside the Hoaqin lookalike wondering how they should go about this situation. They're currently going along with the lie that they're Hoaqin's henchmen bringing the lookalike back to their boss, which they wonder what will happen if Hoaqin and the lookalike meets. Suddenly, the white-haired kid announces that he's starting to get hungry.

Long Summary

Arriving at the 37th Floor's Hell Train Station

The 37th Floor's Wooden Horse station

In the 37th Floor's Middle Area, Boro's group of himself, Hanool, and Danhwa arrive at the location of the Floor's Hell Train station known as the Wooden Horse. The three of them spot the massive horse-like structure floating above them being held up by float rocks allowing for the station to levitate. Hanool is left amazed by the size of it stating that it's bigger than what his teacher described it as, but Boro replies that this is nothing since there're much bigger Hell Train stations than this one.

Hanool asks what Boro means by that, which Boro explains that the Wooden Horse station they're currently looking at is actually one of the smaller ones. He further explains that Hell Train stations are usually used as safe houses for Regulars who are trying to board the Hell Train. Boro also points out how there are certain rules where Rankers aren't allowed to get involved with matters related to Regulars on the Hell Train.

As a result, the Hell Train stations were made to separate the Regulars from the Rankers so that neither side could interfere with one another. Ending his explanation, Boro leaves off stating that the Hell Train stations, such as Wooden Horse, are battlefields for Regulars trying to board the Hell Train, which Hanool admits that the thought of that sounds scary.

Standing at the edge of a cliff before the Wooden Horse station, a floating bot drops down from the station towards Boro and company. It greets the three newcomers, and asks if the reason they're here is to enter the station. Boro states that they are since he, Hanool, and Danhwa, are all Express Ticket holders, and asks for the bot to send them up.

Boro, Hanool, and Danhwa, get in a ship that will take them to the Wooden Horse

The bot then scans Boro and company to see if Boro's claim is correct; confirming that all three of them are indeed Express Ticket holders. It states that it will now take them directly to the Wooden Horse station as it lands in front of Boro and company to act as a transport vehile to take them up. Boro and company each get into the transport bot as they're taken up to the 37th Floor station. Along the way to the Wooden Horse station, Hanool asks when the Hell Train is supposed to arrive today, which Boro answers that it will be somewhere around 11:00pm. Boro explains that once the Hell Train arrives, it will remain at the station for an hour, but during that hour, there will only be 30 minutes of boarding time. Boro warns Hanool and Danhwa that the 30 minute window has always been the only chance to board the Hell Train when it comes to the Tower Floor stations.

Hanool asks why there's only a 30 minute window if the Hell Train is going to be at the station for a full hour, which Boro answers that the first half hour is for passengers who wish to get off the Hell Train. He also points out that the entrance to get on the Hell Train is always in a new spot on the side of the express, so it takes time for the Regulars aboard the Hell Train to reach the exit door. Boro next switches to discussing how their time at the Wooden Horse will be spent. He explains how once they reach the station, they will be sent to the uppermost waiting room where the rest of the Express Ticket holders will gather until the Hell Train arrives.

Angel and Buelsar watching over their hostages, Wangnan and Ehwa

Once the Hell Train arrives, they will go down a stairwell to the Wooden Horse plaza at the bottom of the station, which will be the Hell Train platform to board the express. However, he warns Hanool and Danhwa that the plaza will be a perfect opportunity to get attacked by Regulars wishing to steal away Express Tickets. Boro figures that when the Hell Train arrives at 11:00pm, the night is going to turn into complete chaos.

At that same time, Team Rachel are seen getting a moments rest in a lounge area on the Hell Train after passing the express' 36th Floor test. Angel is seen finally taking off her cloak to change into normal clothes as she complains how the test has left her soaked in sweat. She also goes through her hair complaining that the Hell Train being so damp and hot has left it in a complete mess, and hopes that once she's done with this place, she can go to a hair shop. One last complaint she gives off is that Hoaqin appears to be a complete nutjob as Buelsar is seen standing nearby having heard all of her complaining, as well as the tied up Wangnan and Ehwa. Wangnan asks what it is they're trying to accomplish going to far as to wake up said nutjob, which surprises Angel that he seems to be doing better now after Hoaqin cut through his arm earlier. Angel asks Wangnan to be thankful to her since she applied the treatment that kept his right arm and hand together, which Wangnan finds to be a joke since in the end, he and Ehwa are being treated as hostages. However, Angel ignores his argument, and asks for Wangnan not to fall in love with her since she finds him to be ugly, which irritates Wangnan greatly.

Angel calls out Ehwa for not noticing the crimes of the Ten Great Families

Angel figures that given how beautiful she is, it wouldn't be that surprising anyway if Wangnan ends up thinking about her every night. Ehwa orders Angel to stop trying to change the subject, and asks what Wangnan already said, wanting to know what they're planning by waking up Hoaqin. Ehwa also claims that FUG is nothing but a cancer to the Tower, which grabs Angel's attention seeing that the pretty hostage has quite a foul mouth. She jokes to Ehwa that she should watch her tongue since cancer cells are also a form of living cells. Angel also asks for confirmation if Ehwa really is a member of Yeon, one of the Ten Great Families.

Angel also asks if Ehwa knows how many babies are born as a result of men from the Ten Great Families raping women throughout the Tower's Middle Area, which grabs Ehwa's attention. Seeing Ehwa's confusion, Angel doesn't find it surprising that Ehwa might even be pretending not to know since the Ten Great Families have always tried to hide their wrong-doings. She calls out Ehwa for the contradiction of calling FUG the Tower's cancer, and claims that Ehwa's accusation isn't even a funny one. Ehwa remains unable to say anything back as Angel explains that the goal they are aiming for is a lethal sword pointed towards the Ten Great Families. However, Angel also points out how to some people, their goal may also be viewed as a way to cut out the rotten parts of the Tower. Calling Ehwa a spoiled brat, Angel asks for her to take a better look at the world she's currently living in. Like before, Ehwa remains unable to say anything further.

Hoaqin finding it surprising that Daniel has gone to such great lengths to help him

In another Hell Train lounge room, Hoaqin is seen resting in a room with Daniel as a roommate. The Slayer Candidate complains how hungry he feels currently, and states that he wishes to eat some delicious souls soon. Hoaqin also states that he's itching to kill the person known as Jue Viole Grace, who became the newest Slayer Candidate while the former has remained stuck in the Hell Train all this time.

Hoaqin asks Daniel if eating the Wangnan and Ehwa hostages will be ok since Viole will be chasing after them anyway, but Daniel orders him to stop complaining since they will be arriving at the 37th Floor station soon where Hoaqin will get the chance to eat as many people as he wants. Daniel asks for Hoaqin to have just a bit more patience, which causes Hoaqin to give off a grin. The Slayer Candidate calls out Daniel knowing that the latter must also be starving to get some souls to replenish his Living Creature abilities. As a result, Hoaqin asks for Daniel to not get so cocky regarding this. Changing the subject, Hoaqin finds it surprising that Daniel has decided to help him reach this point, which grabs Daniel's attention. Hoaqin explains how Daniel went so far to inscribe a token on himself to be Hoaqin's loyal underling, and was even willing to become another person who must power himself up by taking away other people's souls.

Rachel informs Hwaryun that her guide abilities are no threat due to Emily

Daniel feels the tattoo inscribed on his back, and admits that even he would never have thought that he would end up in this position. He tells Hoaqin that ever since that day in the Hell Train where he thought that everything was over, he never thought that Hoaqin of all people would be his savior. Daniel briefly thinks back to a moment in the Hell Train where he was alone lying defeated on the floor only for Hoaqin to appear before him.

Within another Hell Train lounge is the room that has been provided for Hwaryun and Rachel. Seeing Hwaryun putting on new clothes, Rachel asks how the clothes her team provided for her fit, which Hwaryun answers that while they're a bit short, they will do for now. Hwaryun then asks why Rachel is allowing her to walk around freely since it could spell trouble for Team Rachel if she chose to just run away and rejoin Bam's party. Rachel reminds her of what she already told her that it's pointless to try to force Hwaryun to follow along with them, so there's no point keeping the guide locked up.

Giving off a grin, Rachel claims that since they're using Emily anyway, Hwaryun's guide skills will never be a threat to her team. She points out how funny it is seeing Hwaryun looking so incompetent, which grabs the guide's attention. Hwaryun asks if Rachel truly believes that the use of Emily will win Hoaqin over to her side, which Rachel admits that ever since she pushed Bam away, she continued to think about why she ended up this way. That she continued to question what it was that she hated about Bam so much, and what it was that she wanted to take away from him. Rachel explains that the answer she came up with was that she was most likely envious of the sight that Bam now has friends by his side.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_07.jpg
Bam's group reach a floating ship that will take them to the Wooden Horse

Rachel also points out how she isn't good enough to gain friends the way Bam has, but explains how the Emily device gives her the power to bring people together. Rachel explains that she doesn't care how she does it since it will not result in a true friendship. As long as she can find people to rely on, she will use Emily to gather people towards her. In the end, Rachel claims that it's all good for her even if the people gathered through Emily are nothing but fake friendships.

Some time later on the 37th Floor, it's now 10:30pm at the Wooden Horse station. In their waiting room, Boro is seen contacting Khun on his Pocket fearing that Bam and company won't make it in time. He asks where Khun is currently, which Bam apologizes that his side hasn't started moving towards the 37th Floor station yet, which shocks Boro.

At Khun's 37th Floor location, he's seen with Bam, Rak, Akraptor, Miseng, Prince, Blarode and Quaetro running towards a docked floating ship. Khun explains to Boro that thanks to Jinsung's interference, they're a bit behind schedule, and are only just now getting to the floating ship that will take them to the Hell Train's Wooden Horse station. He assures Boro that they will try to get to the station as fast as they can from here on out. Boro finds this turn of events crazy as he points out to Khun that the Hell Train is set to depart by midnight. He warns Khun that his group is never going to be able to make it in time with just about an hour and a half remaining at most.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_08.jpg
Aka greets Boro, Hanool, and Danhwa, at their Wooden Horse waiting room

Khun reminds Boro that they started the chase after the Hell Train under the belief that they probably weren't going to make it to the express to begin with. Telling Boro that he will do whatever he can to make it to the station, Khun asks Boro to trust his side to believe that they can make it in time, and asks for Boro and company to wait it out just a bit longer. At this point, Khun cuts off the Pocket call, which leaves Boro even more confused about the whole situation.

With the call over, Boro is left downhearted figuring that it wasn't possible for the newbie D-rankers to make it to the 37th Floor station in time. Danhwa asks if this means that Bam and company won't be showing up after all, and suggests that they should probably make sure that at least the three currently here make it on the Hell Train. Boro agrees with the suggestion since they don't have much choice at this point, and reveals to Hanool and Danhwa that Aka's team also appears to be arriving late to the Wooden Horse. However, Aka appears at the doorway of their waiting room claiming that he's not late.

Aka calls out Boro for never changing talking down about the former behind his back despite being the one that was given the bothersome job. A voice coming from behind Aka agrees with the statement claiming that they both agreed they can't be with Boro due to his personality. The voice then claims that Daniel wouldn't have ended up where he is now had Boro done his job properly, which shocks Boro recognizing who the voice is.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_09.jpg
Sachi, who's one of the top-3 D-rank Regulars, greets his old teammate, Boro

The voice continues to speak calling out Boro that him being so irresolute has resulted in everything turning out this way. Now standing next to Aka claiming that it's been a long time since he's last seen Boro, the latter sees that it's his old teammate, Sachi Faker.

Hanool is shocked by this revelation that the dreaded Ticket Hunter known as Sachi Faker is in the room with them. Walking into the room, Sachi explains that he's come here after hearing everything surrounding Daniel from Aka. Sachi admits that he never thought the time would come where he would be forced to get on the Hell Train again with his old teammates as Hanool continues to yell in shock that one of the three strongest D-rank Regulars is standing here in the same room. Sachi gets to the main point, and asks if it's true that the demon they know as Hoaqin is about to be set loose once more.

Moments later, the Hell Train is seen making it's way closer to the Wooden Horse station. An announcement in the Hell Train is made informing the Regulars aboard that they will soon be arriving at the 37th Floor station. The message repeats itself as Daniel and Hoaqin realize that it's finally time. Hoaqin is glad to hear it as well claiming that he will soon get the chance to eat as much as he wants. The Hell Train announcement continues asking for the Regulars to be prepard to exit if they're choosing to get off the express. In their lounge room, Angel begins to get excited hearing that they finally made it.

Team Rachel setting up a Wooden Horse event through Emily

Hearing Yura say that it's time for them to get moving, Rachel looks down at her Emily terminal thinking about Bam, and that she has to make it through this no matter what since unlike him, god doesn't love her. A message is seen on Emily inform everyone in the Tower that if they wish to get on the Hell Train, a special event will be held on the 37th Floor's Wooden Horse station at 11:00pm. Rachel thinks to herself that if she doesn't choose to step over others, there will be no one out there who will reach a hand out offering her help. The Hell Train announcer leaves off asking once more for everyone to be prepared if they're choosing to get off the express.

Returning to the Wooden Horse station, Boro and company finish explaining the situation to Sachi, who realizes Daniel's plan of setting Hoaqin loose in order to bring Roen back to life. Thinking about Daniel's actions, Sachi admits that he had deduced something crazy must have happened seeing that it got to the point of Aka having to seek him out for help. Sachi states that he now understands what's going on, and points out that it's a good thing he was nearby here thanks to Emily. Seeing Sachi holding an Emily terminal shocks Boro and company, which Sachi replies that it's thanks to Emily that he was able to quickly find an Express Ticket. The group sees the Wooden Horse event message on the Emily terminal, which Sachi explains that it was sent out during the morning, and that for the past few days, messages were being sent out hyping this event up.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_11.jpg
The Hell Train arrives at the Wooden Horse station

Boro is left shocked to hear that this has been going on for days, and is left wondering what it is that Team Rachel is planning on doing next with this new Emily scheme. Sachi remains confused about Boro's statement, but before Boro could explain what's going on, a loud sound is heard in the distance. Sachi figures that they will need to save the chat for later since it would appear that the Hell Train has arrived at the Wooden Horse station. Fearing that Bam and company won't make it in time, Boro is left annoyed that the Hell Train is already here.

On the Hell Train, Hoaqin is happy to hear that the express has finally arrived at the 37th Floor station. He asks for Daniel and him to get out of here claiming that he's been hungry for awhile. However, Daniel objects to it stating that they have until midnight, and that making an early mess could cause them a lot of trouble. He advises Hoaqin to wait just a bit longer, but Hoaqin goes against it asking if Daniel can hear the fresh breathing of the prey that are waiting on his arrival.

Back to the Wooden Horse, the Regulars begin to gather at the plaza area of the station known as the Altar due to the Hell Train having just arrived. An announcement from the Hell Train is heard informing the Regulars waiting within the plaza that boarding will start at 11:30pm, which is exactly 30 minutes from now. The announcer advises everyone who wishes to board to come to the Altar by 11:30pm, and repeats once more that the Hell Train has arrived at the Wooden Horse. The Regulars amongst the plaza Altar discuss how they're all here due to Emily's message, but have also heard the rumors of several strong folk already being on the Hell Train. They also point out how it feels weird having to rely on Emily for everything these days as Bero's team from the Train City tournament is seen amongst the Regulars in the crowd.

    Hoaqin's Killing Game

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_12.jpg
Hoaqin warned that he can't leave the Hell Train until he's fully resurrected

At the side-entrance of the Hell Train, Hoaqin is seen stepping out, and looks out at all the Regulars below him that have gathered at the Wooden Horse's plaza Altar. Hoaqin claims that it's been a long time since he's felt the fresh air outside the Hell Train, but before he could walk any further, Daniel grabs him from behind. He asks what Hoaqin thinks he's doing, and begins to pull Hoaqin back into the Hell Train much to the Slayer Candidate's irritation. Hoaqin asks Daniel why he's holding him back since the former wants to leave, which causes Daniel to remind Hoaqin of the contrat he has with the Hell Train Administrator.

The mention of the contract grabs Hoaqin's attention, which Daniel warns the Slayer Candidate that said contract is only valid while Hoaqin remains with the Hell Train. If Hoaqin decides to leave the express, then Hoaqin will have broken that contract, and they'll all be done for as a result. Daniel also warns Hoaqin that until the latter becomes the Complete One again, the Slayer Candidate the way he currently is will still not be allowed to leave. Daniel then pulls Hoaqin once more to get the two of them back in the Hell Train as the side-entrance closes shut.

The Regulars in the plaza look up at the Hell Train side-entrance door suddenly closing much to their confusion, and wonder if this means that nobody is going to be exiting. They also question if this means that something went wrong with the event that was mentioned on their Emily terminals. Licking her lollipop, Bero wonders to herself what she saw at the Hell Train side-entrance believing that there was a white-looking object before the door closed. Meanwhile, two other Regulars (one wearing a gray helmet while the other is wearing a nice suit) discuss how the white person they saw was definitely Hoaqin, and state that they will take care of him once he shows himself again.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_13.jpg
Rachel informs Hoaqin that many Regulars have gathered for Emily's event

Inside the Hell Train side-entrance, Daniel complains by asking if Hoaqin has a brain since the Slayer Candidate is currently in a situation where he can't just go around where he pleases. The question annoys Hoaqin asking why he needs permission to go outside, which Daniel reminds him once more of the contract that keeps the Slayer Candidate connected to the Hell Train. Hoaqin claims that he doesn't care, and orders Daniel to move so that he can eat some Wooden Horse Regulars since he's starving. However, Daniel orders Hoaqin to stop acting like this since he's already made the promise to help Hoaqin become the complete Slayer Candidate again, which will allow for Hoaqin to break free from the Hell Train's contract. Stating that he obviously remembers, Hoaqin also points out that he's keeping the promise to bring Roen back.

Given that Hoaqin knows his situation, Daniel asks why he's trying to leave when he's still not a Complete One. Daniel also points out that he fears he will lose everything again if Hoaqin screws up because he stupidly moved too far away from the Hell Train. He begs Hoaqin once more to just wait a big longer until the rest of the Regulars arrive at the Wooden Horse's plaza Altar since making an early fuss could result in all the Regulars running away before they could eat any of them. At this point, Rachel and Yura arrive. The former of which informs Daniel that he doesn't have to worry anymore. Daniel remains confused by the answer, which Rachel explains that a large majority of the Regulars should already be on standby at the Wooden Horse plaza Altar waiting for the start of the special event they created using Emily.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_14.jpg
Hoaqin steps outside the Hell Train to greet the Wooden Horse Regulars

Rachel shows them Emily's message on her terminal, and warns her group that if they don't exit the Hell Train now for the 11:00pm time that's mentioned on it, the Regulars waiting at the Wooden Horse will begin to get suspicious. Hoaqin gives off a grin seeing the interesting Emily device again, and asks Daniel if everything is good now since they're in a position where things will go bad if they force the Regulars on the Wooden Horse station to wait on them any longer. He also taunts Daniel that his earlier action of leaving the Hell Train turned out to be correct, which irritates Daniel. Opening the side-entrance door again, Daniel asks for the group to follow after him, but also adds that he will cut off Daniel's head if he tries to stall his meal again. Daniel then turns his attention to Rachel, who's seen giving off a smile at him as they begin to exit the Hell Train.

The Regulars in the Wooden Horse plaza Altar look up at the Hell Train again seeing that the side-entrance has reopened. They question what's going on as they spot Hoaqin followed by Rachel, Yura, and Daniel, walking down the platform stairwell towards them. Holding up his massive sword, Hoaqin gives his greeting to the D-rank Regulars that have arrived at the Wooden Horse station. Boro and company are seen finally joining up with the rest of the Regulars waiting in the plaza Altar, and are shocked to see Hoaqin standing on the stairwell before them. Confusion also takes hold of Boro's group knowing that Hoaqin is now awake, and walking outside the Hell Train room he was locked in. Elsewhere in the Hell Train, Train Administrator Poro contacts the Train Conductor to inform the captain that Hoaqin is trying to get out of the express.

The Wooden Horse Regulars continue to all look up at the Hell Train side-entrance in confusion at the four people (Hoaqin, Rachel, Yura, and Daniel) that have appeared out of it. They notice the white-haired kid amongst them holding a giant sword, and wonder if it's perhaps a member of the sword-using Great Arie Family of the Ten Great Families.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_15.jpg
Hoaqin announces that he will let Regulars who kill four others board the Hell Train

The Regulars are also surprised to spot the idol, Yura Ha, amongst the four that exited the Hell Train, and are left wondering if perhaps the idol is somehow connected to the Wooden Horse event that Emily informed them of. Hoaqin looks down at the mass of Regulars who have gathered at the plaza Altar, and informs his group that he sees several delicious looking guys amongst them.

Boro continues to look at Hoaqin, and informs his group that while the silver kid is definitely Hoaqin, he remains confused as to why the Slayer Candidate is currently so small in size. Hoaqin then speaks to the crowd stating that he's delighted that so many people have decided to show up. He points out that the Regulars are truly blessed since they're all qualified to be his first glorious meal. In return, the Regulars remain confused as to what Hoaqin is talking about as Hoaqin announces that the event will soon begin.

The Regulars all turn their attention towards Hoaqin hearing that the Wooden Horse event is finally starting. They wonder if the white-haired kid is the host of said event as Hoaqin explains that 30 minutes from now, it will be time for the Regulars to board the Hell Train. Hoaqin informs the Wooden Horse Regulars that if they cut off the heads of four nearby Regulars, he will allow the winners of said task to board the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_16.jpg
Hoaqin displays his power on the Wooden Horse to show that he's in charge

However, Hoaqin warns the group that he will make sure that no one will be allowed to board until someone manages to kill four other Regulars. Hearing the rules of the Wooden Horse event shocks Daniel as he wonders what kind of crazy game the Slayer Candidate is up to this time around. Some of the Regulars begin to complain towards Hoaqin to stop talking crap, and asks how the latter can go about commanding them.

The Regulars continue to complain claiming that they will kill Hoaqin themselves as the latter gives off a smile continuing to look down on them. From behind Hoaqin, Daniel asks what the former is trying to pull here, but before Daniel could act, Hoaqin says to the Wooden Horse Regulars that he will make them listen if they continue to not listen to his order. Hoaqin swings down his massive sword as a blast of shinsu cuts through the floor of the Wooden Horse plaza Altar.

A massive cut from the shinsu blast is seen on the floor of the Wooden Horse as the Regulars who got cut in the blast are seen now as dead corpses. The Regulars who are still alive look towards the corpses, and see the bodies begin to glow. They are all left shocked by the sight as one of the Regulars mentions how it looks like life-energy is being sucked out of them. They realize that the life-source of the Regulars have been pulled out of their bodies as they vanish once they float into the air. Hoaqin orders once more for the Regulars to fight, and that he won't be choosing to wait this time around. Convinced that Hoaqin's attack was legit, one of the Wooden Horse Regulars raises his hand claiming that he will go along with the Slayer Candidate's event by killing four others in order to board the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_17.jpg
Three Regulars step forward to take part in Hoaqin's event

The Regular begs Hoaqin to take him onto the Hell Train, which pleases the Slayer Candidate seeing that there's finally a brave warrior amongst the crowd. Hoaqin orders the Regular to quickly kill off four people, which the Regular agrees to do. However, a massive Regular wearing a gray helmet steps forward asking to take part in the fight as well. Another Regular wearing a nice suit, who's the massive Regular's partner, steps forward as well. The two of them claim that they're also trying to get on the Hell Train.

Hoaqin looks over the two newcomers, and admits that they actually seem quite decent, and is left wondering where these two powerful looking guys came from. The Regular wearing the nice suit claims that they will go along with Hoaqin's event by killing off four other people, but only if one other condition is added. That Hoaqin joins the fight so that he would be their fourth head. The challenge from the massive helmet and nice suit Regulars grabs Hoaqin's attention as he gives off a nasty grin asking the two of them if he heard correctly.

Flashing back to 600 years ago some time after Boro's group had become some of Hoaqin's underlings aboard the Hell Train, everyone is seen grouped around the dead Regular that Roen killed. Boro informs the rest of Hoaqin's underlings that the Regular was no doubt killed this very morning, but was also at a time when no Hell Train monsters were around. He's left wondering who it was that could have killed him, but deduces that it was obviously a teammate since everyone here now serves under Hoaqin.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_18.jpg
Roen explains to Daniel that she had no choice killing Hoaqin's underling

Said Slayer Candidate then appears overhearing Boro's deduction, and asks if this means that a traitor has popped up in his kingdom. Hoaqin gives off a grin, and claims that things are about to get dangerous since they should use this time to search for the killer amongst his underlings. The Slayer Caniddate asks his underlings to gather everyone in one place so that he can find out who the killer is himself, which his underlings agree to do.

Daniel, knowing that the killer is Roen, continues to remain silent as he thinks back to the conversation he had with Roen moments after she killed the Regular. He asks why Roen would go so far to kill this Regular named Bollack, who had proven himself to be the most devoted to Hoaqin amongst all his current underlings.

Roen answers that it's because she had no choice, and asks if Daniel had already noticed the problem they're dealing with. That the Hell Train is already under Hoaqin's control, and has changed everything about it. Roen explains how Regulars like the Bollack guy she just killed have been influenced by Hoaqin to such a degree that his underlings have begun to feel as if they have total control over others.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_19.jpg
Roen reveals that Hoaqin's underling had been constantly beating Poro up

She then reveals to Daniel that the night before, she saw Bollack beating up Poro from their group to such a degree. However, when Roen asked Poro about it afterwards, the latter begged her not to tell anyone since Bollack beating him up has been happening often. He tells Roen that giving away what Bollack's been doing to him could end up bringing harm to the rest of the people that are in Boro's team.

Continuing her explanation, Roen asks if Daniel remembers how some of the Regulars had supposedly left the Hell Train at the last station they were at. Roen reveals that this was actually a lie, and that those Regulars were killed off by Hoaqin's top underlings as a means to seize their Express Tickets. She yells at Daniel that Hoaqin and his loyal followers are nothing but liars, and that they need to take back the Hell Train from them. Roen next reveals that she confronted Bollack about all this, and was threatened by him that given what Roen knows, he will go about killing her, and the rest of her team. As a result, Roen was forced to kill him. Roen continues to apologize to Daniel knowing that her actions have resulted in their team being in great danger now.

Returning to the present, Daniel admits that he knew the actual truth as to why Roen did what she did. The reason as to why Roen acted out in violence by killing Bollack. Daniel knew that it wasn't out of hatred or justice that caused Roen to act, but that it was actually out of jealousy towards Hoaqin for taking away the Hell Train that she and her team used to go on adventures. Daniel figures that Hoaqin knew about how Roen felt, and that he used Poro as a victim to lure Roen into acting out.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_20.jpg
Hoaqin finding the massive Regular tasty witnessing him instantly kill a Regular

He admits that he was worried back then if Hoaqin confirmed that Roen killed his most loyal Bollack. It was only a matter of time before he got rid of everyone that was a part of Boro's team. It was at this moment that Daniel realized the kind of person Hoaqin truly is, the King of Hell. A man who creates hell by forcing people to kill each other as the instigator sits back and enjoys the carnage.

Returning to the Wooden Horse event, Hoaqin asks for the two newcomer Regulars (the massive gray helmet Regular, and the nice suit Regular) to show him what they've got. Hoaqin informs them that if they prove they're worthy, he will gladly join the fight against them, which pleases the giant Regular. The first Regular who volunteered to take part in Hoaqin's event begins to fear for his life as the giant Regular wearing the gray helmet walks up to him clenching his fists ready for a fight.

The scared Regular tries to explain to the giant that there must be a misunderstanding here. He suggests instead for the three of them to instead team up and take on the white guy that set up this event, but the giant Regular replies that he's not needed. The giant with the gray helmet sends a massive fist towards the scared Regular, who gets blasted back. The sight of the easily defeated Regular shocks Bero and company as Hoaqin gives off a smile claiming that the giant with the gray helmet is proving himself to be a tasty one. Meanwhile, a person with blue hair is seen floating above the Wooden Horse station. Giving off a grin, the unknown blue-haired person states how surprised he is seeing the Hell Train again after so long.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_21.jpg
Hoaqin offers an Express Ticket to anyone that can kill off one of the two Regulars

Returning to the Wooden Horse event, Hoaqin admits that while the giant with the gray helmet proved himself to be powerful, it's still not enough for him to enter the fight. Hoaqin instead comes up with another solution by claiming that a new event will take place, which confuses the gray helmet Regular. The Slayer Candidate explains the rule that if a Regular out there manages to cut the head off of either the giant with the gray helmet, or the Regular with the nice suit, he will provide for them an Express Ticket. The Regulars are left in a state of shock asking if Hoaqin really plans to give them an Express Ticket, which Hoaqin assures them that he will gladly hand one over if they follow his order by bringing him a head from one of the two Regulars he just mentioned.

The two Regulars Hoaqin marked for death look around them seeing the rest of the Regulars getting excited. One of the Regulars claims that this is a jackpot opportunity while others question if they're really getting a chance at a free Express Ticket. Hoaqin asks if they're ready to begin the event, and orders them all to fight the gray helmet and nice suit Regulars. A massive brawl begins amongst all the Regulars who charge at the two who Hoaqin marked for death. The gray helmet and nice suit Regulars turn in opposite directions as they face off against the Regulars in front of them. From afar, Boro's group could see the explosions and such of the current brawl. Sachi admits that while Hoaqin has decreased in size, his taste in carnage seems to be as evil as it's always been.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_22.jpg
The two Regulars who were marked for death prepare to take on Hoaqin

Boro agrees with Sachi's statement adding that like the old days, Hoaqin still acts like a devil who plays around with people making them fight and compete against one another. As a result, Boro pretty much confirms that the one they're looking at is no doubt Hoaqin as they spot the Slayer Candidate giving off a giggle at the fight going on before him.

Moments later, the gray helmet and nice suit Regulars wrap up defeating most of the Regulars around them as the former is seen preparing a metal chain-like weapon on his right fist. They ask if this is enough to prove that they're worthy enough to face Hoaqin personally, which Hoaqin admits that the two have indeed proven themselves to be powerful D-rank Regulars. Finding it curious that the two seem to know about him, Hoaqin asks if they were sent by someone, such as FUG, which the nice suit Regular answers that they were.

The nice suit Regular states that they're here because they heard the rumor of a blasphemous D-rank Regular currently aboard the Hell Train, who goes around claiming that he's a Slayer Candidate. Hearing the nice suit Regular call him a blasphemous D-ranker causes Hoaqin to give off a major laugh, and claims that what he just heard was really funny. Continuing to laugh, Hoaqin finds what the nice suit Regular said to be a comedy show, and states that he and the gray helmet Regular have no idea who the real blasphemous one is here.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_23.jpg
Hoaqin kills the two Regulars with a massive shinsu explosion

Hoaqin is left wondering if they're looking down on him because he shrunk in size after all this time, and admits that the thought of it is pissing him off. Hoaqin begins to power up his shinsu ability, and asks for the gray helmet and nice suit Regulars to watch carefully with their two eyes the kind of blasphemous D-ranker they claim him to be. A massive amount of shinso is seen forming above Hoaqin as Team Bero is seen hiding amongst the plaza Altar asking what exactly it is they're looking for. Boro's group on the other hand could tell what was going on as Sachi confirms that this massive shinsu attack is proof that Hoaqin has just consumed a vast amount of souls.

The mass of shinsu continuing to increase in size surprises the gray helmet and nice suit Regulars as the latter asks how much bigger Hoaqin's shinsu attack is going to become. He's also left confused as to how a simple D-rank Regular could have such massive power. Hoaqin answers that having such great power is essential for someone who is one day going to become a FUG Slayer, and that such a FUG Slayer should be known as the God of Fear who rules over garbage such as the Wooden Horse Regulars he sees before him.

Hoaqin asks for the gray helmet and nice suit Regulars to remember this fear when they're sent to hell. The shinsu attack is sent down towards the two of them as the nice suit Regular orders his giant partner to dodge. However, the shinsu attack is so massive that it completely envelops the whole middle area of the Wooden Horse's Altar plaza. The nice suit Regular leaves off claiming that the power displayed here is complete bullshit as a massive explosion occurs killing him and the gray helmet Regular. Looking at the massive explosion, Hoaqin asks that they not forget his overwhelming power.

As the explosion subsides, the remaining Regulars all around stand in shock at the power that Hoaqin just displayed to them. Hoaqin jokes that everything is cleaned up now, and that he's always preferred clean methods over messy ones. Boro is left calling Hoaqin a crazy bastard since the Slayer Candidate just went about killing a vast amount of Regulars in one fell swoop.

Amongst Team Aka, Moontari asks if that Hoaqin monster really is the old foe they were told about. Aka answers that to be the case explaining that despite Hoaqin's body size being a lot smaller than back then, his nasty personality hasn't changed one bit. Sachi then gives the order to Aka and Boro's groups that they will lay low for now until the stairs to the Hell Train side-entrance shows up. He explains that they will make a run for the Hell Train 10 minutes before it departs, but warns them not to confront Hoaqin since they will be no match against the Slayer Candidate in a face-to-face duel.

    Team Bam vs. Team Hoaqin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_24.jpg
Hoaqin noticing Boro and Bero's groups making their way to the Hell Train stairs

Boro agrees that their primary objective at the moment should be to board the Hell Train. However, he begins to fear that Bam and company couldn't make it here after all.

Some time passes as it's now 11:50pm; 10 minutes before the Hell Train departs from the 37th Floor's Wooden Horse station. Hoaqin looks to his left seeing that a platform stairwell up to one of the Hell Train's side-entrances has now appeared, but notes how no one seems to be taking the chance to enter the Hell Train. Hoaqin is left disappointed that no one at the Wooden Horse appeared to have any talent as he gives the order to Team Rachel that they should go back in. Turning around to go back in, Hoaqin leaves off hoping that some worthy folk to eat at the next Hell Train station will show up. However, two teams, Boro's group and Team Bero, use this chance to make a run for the platform staircase.

Hoaqin turns around noticing the two teams making a run for the stairwell, and is shocked to spot his old underling, Boro, amongst the Regulars. The sight of Boro causes Hoagin to flashback to a time on the Hell Train when Boro stood against him claiming that there's a chance to read the Slayer Candidate's sword just once during their fight. Boro leaves off ordering Hoaqin to come at him. Back to the present, an enraged Hoaqin calls out to the son of a bitch known as Boro claiming that he's finally found the latter. Daniel spots Boro, Aka, and even Sachi, amongst the Regulars, and is surprised that they managed to catch up to them already at the 37th Floor station. Boro begins to fear for the worst knowing that Hoaqin had already noticed him as Sachi notices Daniel standing behind the Slayer Candidate. The enraged Hoaqin calls out to Boro claiming that he's going to kill him, but above Hoaqin, a large amount of electric lightning Bangs are seen forming in the sky.

The blue-haired person still remains floating above the Hell Train as he continues to create many electric Bangs. He then claims that while what he's about to do is a favor to his little brother, he finds it unbelievable that he's actually chosen to help Khun out.

Khun's contact strikes the Hell Train to stall it for Bam and company

The blue-haired person then summons a massive attack of electricity that rains down upon the Hell Train, which catches all the Regulars off-guard. As a result, the people currently still inside the Hell Train feel the impact of the blue-haired person's attack as lightning bolts are seen striking several of the Hell Train cars. In the Hell Train Conductor's office, Poro wonders what's going on as he runs out of the room claiming that he will check what's going on. The captain thinks over the current situation, and concludes that what the Hell Train was just struck by must have been from a member of the Great Khun Family. Angel and Buelsar are seen still in their lounge room watching over the hostages, Ehwa and Wangnan, as Angel is left confused about what's going on.

The blue-haired person calls up A.A. (Khun) on his Pocket to inform his little brother that he managed to stall the train for now. He warns Khun that it will start moving again soon enough, but assures the latter that if they're currently on the rapid 37th Floor floating ship that brings Regulars to the Wooden Horse station, they will definitely make it here in time. The blue-haired person informs Khun that the former's actions here will definitely be reported to their Khun Family father, and asks for Khun to remember to keep his promise since the little brother now owes him big for this. Within the floating ship, Khun gives off a smile claiming that he will definitely one day keep his promise to pay him back for helping him out here. The floating ship that Bam and company are currently in is seen about to reach the Wooden Horse station as Khun claims that it's about time for them to go to the Hell Train.

Bam's group arrives at the Wooden Horse station

The smoke from the blue-haired person's lightning attack subsides as Boro's team is seen coming out of it completely unharmed wondering what it was that they almost got hit by. Hoaqin and Team Rachel remain confused by the attack that just occurred as well. Hoaqin then notices a light being given off in front of a floating ship in the distance. Seeing Bam, Khun and Rak carrying themselves towards the Hell Train using shinsu and a lighthouse field respectively, Hoaqin asks his group who the hell these two newcomers are.

Bam, Khun, and Rak, land on the platform stairwell right across from Hoaqin's location outside the Hell Train. Hwaryun also notices Bam and company's arrival before headed back in as the two Slayer Candidates look over one another; Hoaqin viewing Bam as just a boy while Bam sees Hoaqin as just a kid with white hair. Khun looks over the white kid as well, and questions who this small child is supposed to be.

The rest of Team Rachel, and Boro's group, are all surprised to see that Bam made it here so fast. Bero also adds how she recognizes them as the people she saw at the Train City tournament. Bam continues to look at Hoaqin, and begins to wonder if it's the Hell Train Slayer Candidate everyone is talking about since he didn't come across the white kid at Train City. Before Hoaqin could figure out who Bam is, Boro yells out to Bam warning him to be careful since the white kid they're looking at is the Hoaqin person he's told them about. He also points out that Team Rachel succeeded in waking up the Slayer Candidate, which grabs the attention of Bam and company. Khun is surprised to learn how the white kid before them is actually the dangerous Slayer Candidate they've been warned about.

Back to Angel and Buelsar's lounge room in the Hell Train, Angel gives off a sigh of relief knowing that the moment of turbulence she just felt has passed. Realizing that there's been no announcements despite having gone over the midnight departure time, Angel figures that something must have happened outside the Hell Train that's keeping the express stuck at the Wooden Horse. She asks Buelsar if they should head out to check what's going on, which the Mad Dog agrees that they probably should.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_27.jpg
Wangnan preparing to use the White Heavenly Mirror to escape

Looking back at Wangnan and Ehwa, Angel asks what they should do with the two of them. Buelsar answers that they got nothing to worry about since he tied them up pretty tightly, and doesn't fear that anything will happen since if they also had the ability to escape, they wouldn't have gotten caught in the first place. Agreeing with that logic, Angel decides to get going with Buelsar, and points out that she's worried old man Daniel might still be alive. Unbeknownst to Angel and Buelsar, Wangnan is seen holding the White Heavenly Mirror behind his back ready to cut his hostage ropes.

Meanwhile, on the floating ship Bam and company arrived on is the remaining members of Sweet and Sour: Akraptor, Miseng, and Prince. They're left amazed to see that the Bam, Khun, and Rak, team were able to leave the ship so quickly to head off to the Wooden Horse. Miseng hopes that Bam and company made it to the station safely, which Akraptor replies that that at this point, they can only hope they did.

Back to the Hell Train platform stairwell, Bam continues to look over at Hoaqin and company. Like everyone else, he's surprised to see that Hoaqin is just a small kid. Seeing Rachel with him, Bam also wonders if it was her that went so far as to awaken the Hell Train's dangerous Slayer Candidate.

Rak is the next to speak asking how the small turtle is the Hoaqin guy everyone is so scared about. Rak also complains that he was hoping he was going to be facing someone strong, and that the small Hoaqin before him isn't even worth a hunt.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_28.jpg
Bam blocks Hoaqin's sword before he could swing it

Hoaqin begins to get ticked off at Rak making fun of him as the alligator continues to complain how this Hoaqin guy looks like a squashed rice-cake who wouldn't be able to feed a fly. Hoaqin yells back how Rak could call him such names, and asks if the alligator has a death wish. Rak yells back that he's not just an alligator, but is known as Rak Wraithraiser. A moment later, Boro's group run up the platform stairwell to reunite with Bam and company.

Sachi yells out to Daniel what the hell the latter is doing going so far as to awaken Hoaqin, but Daniel is just surprised to see that Sachi from his old team is now here as well. Hoaqin gets angry again seeing Boro's face once more, and like earlier, calls him a son of a bitch. Hoaqin readies his sword prepared to kill Boro claiming that he will never let the latter back on the Hell Train, but Bam instantly jumps over to Hoaqin's location, and blocks the Slayer Candidate's sword before Hoaqin could swing it.

Bam's action confuses Hoaqin as Boro and Daniel are caught by surprise realizing that there's someone out there who can parry the Slayer Candidate's sword. Bam and Hoaqin stand opposite one another just a few feet apart as the latter asks if the former has any idea who Bam is getting in the way of. Bam however continues to stare in silence as Hoaqin swings down his sword aiming to kill him. Bam summons his shinsu platform to stand on, and dodges by falling back from the swing, which Hoaqin notes how his current opponent seems to have some kind of flight ability that he saw earlier whem Bam and company arrived at the Wooden Horse.

Rak yells out to Bam in anger claiming that the Hoaqin turtle is his to hunt as he jumps off the platform staircase towards his enemies. Khun yells to Rak ordering him to stop since simply getting on the Hell Train should be their top priority, but Rak replies back that he can't while his prey is right here in front of him, which causes Khun to call Rak a crazy fool.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_29.jpg
Daniel knocks Rak down to the Wooden Horse station

Seeing Rak coming towards them, Rachel moves her lighthouses to act as stepping platforms for Daniel, who jumps on top of them towards Rak to counter the alligator. Daniel creates a Living Creature Bang, and sends it towards Rak, who ends up getting struck by it. As a result, Rak drops down to the Wooden Horse plaza Altar, and crashes into the station floor near Team Bero.

Khun calls out to Rak for making such an idiotic move as Daniel makes it over to the platform stairwell to block Khun's path up to the Hell Train. Daniel figures that since Rak dropped down to the Wooden Horse station, it most likely means that the alligator isn't going to make it onto the Hell Train. Boro's group stand alongside Khun to face off against Daniel. The latter of which asks why the newbie D-ranker kids are wasting their time by coming here.

Daniel asks if they truly believe that Jue Viole Grace has the potential to defeat his group, and points out how it was just a coincidence being caught off-guard by the explosive power that Viole displayed at the Train City station platform. He warns Khun and company that they never had the slightest possibility to defeat Team Rachel, especially now that Hoaqin is awake. Sachi calls out to Daniel once more, which Daniel replies back that it's been a long time since he last saw the former. Before Daniel could speak any further, he sees Rachel and Yura jumping to the platform staircase as well, and landing at a higher location on the stairs behind him. He then apologizes to Khun and company telling them that despite them coming all this way, he will not allow them to come aboard the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_30.jpg
Slayer Candidate vs. Slayer Candidate

Danhwa uses this chance to call out to Yura to leave Team Rachel, which surprises the latter seeing that her old sword user teammate has followed after him all this way. Daniel prepares for a fight as he claims that no matter what, they will not stop Team Rachel from taking over the Hell Train. He tells Khun and company that this is all for the purpose of Hoaqin regaining his power so that the Slayer Candidate can bring Roen back to life. Finding Daniel to be a crazy bastard, Khun prepares for a fight as well, but is stopped by Sachi, who asks for the Khun family member to hold back for now. Sachi explains that given that he, Boro, and Aka, are old comrades of his, it's their job to make Daniel come back to his senses.

Rachel looks back in Hoaqin's direction, and is surprised to see that Bam is fighting him neck-and-neck. Rachel however hopes that Hoaqin must be the stronger one of the two since he's the sword she chose to climb the Tower with. Continuing their close-combat fight, Hoaqin begins to get excited and interested in Bam seeing that the boy has been reacting perfectly to his sword. Bam however is doing his best to keep up deducing that Hoaqin is extremely fast, and could feel the high power in the sword every time Hoaqin swings it at him. He also admits that if it wasn't for shinso reinforcement in his body, he's only been barely able to react to each of Hoaqin's attacks.

Bam concludes that before it's too late, his best chance is to react to Hoaqin's sword the moment he reads it. Bam activates the Thorn deciding that since he can't keep this up for much longer, he should finish the fight with his next attack. The sight of the Thorn catches Hoaqin's attention as he sees Bam beginning to use the Flare Wave Explosion technique. Hoaqin suddenly realizes that the person he's dealing with is the Slayer Candidate, Jue Viole Grace, as he counters Bam's attack with a sword slash at his face.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_31.jpg
Yura blocks Khun's path

Moments beforehand at the platform stairwell, Khun asks who Sachi thinks he is getting in the way. Sachi apologizes for his rudeness, and properly introduces himself as Sachi Faker to the Khun member. He then explains that the reason he's stepping in is because the stupid person they're currently dealing with was one of his old comrade. Khun thinks it over remembering how Sachi has established himself as one of the top-3 D-rank Regulars, and finds it odd how someone so powerful also happens to be connected to Boro and company. However, he suddenly hears a scream nearby coming from Bam having just been cut across the face by Hoaqin.

Khun looks in Bam's direction and sees blood flowing down the latter's forehead after being hit by Hoaqin's sword. Rak yells out to Bam from the Wooden Horse plaza Altar hoping the black turtle is ok as Bam is left questioning what just happeneddue to not being able see Hoaqin's last attack. Khun jumps on his lighthouse prepared to make it way over to Bam's location, but has his route blocked off by Yura Ha, who tells Khun that he should be worried about dealing with her first. Meanwhile, blood is seen dripping from Hoaqin's sword as the Slayer Candidate claims that he heard about there being a new Slayer Candidate within FUG.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_32.jpg
Bam unable to understand how Hoaqin's sword moves

Hoaqin then tells Bam that he's been wondering recently how ridiculous the new guy must be to be given such a high FUG status, but is surprised to see that it's the boy who's currently standing right in front of him. Meanwhile, Bam continues to think things over wondering why he couldn't see the sword on the last attack, and deduces that if he didn't rely on the Thorn at that moment, he would have died to the sword slash.

Hoaqin says exactly what Bam was thinking explaining that he was aiming to kill with that last sword attack, but noticed how he survived thanks to the Thorn providing him support. He then states how he heard from Daniel about the whole plan FUG came up with to turn Viole into a Thorn ignition weapon, and how he didn't believe it at first, but is now witnessing it to confirm that Daniel's story about it all was legit. However, Hoaqin gives off a grin stating that he's noticed how the Thorn seems a bit heavy on a simple boy, and asks if he should do his part to take the Thorn away from him. Bam thinks it over once more wondering how Hoaqin knows about the Thorn, and is left confused as to who this Hoaqin person actually is. Hoaqin and Bam charge at each other to continue their fight as Bam is left wondering if FUG has been hiding this Hoaqin person for some secret objective.

An attack from Hoaqin aims for Bam's right side, who deduces that since he can't dodge it, he can block it with a shinsu curtain. However, the sword suddenly switches over to Bam's left side, and grazes his left arm. As a result, Bam is left confused as to how Hoaqin's sword had suddenly disappeared.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_33.jpg
Roen's last moments before sacrificing herself to save her team from Hoaqin

Back to the platform staircase, Sachi points out to Daniel how they thought the latter was dead this whole time, and yet here is is now siding with the Hoaqin demon. Sachi asks what happened for Daniel to end up like this, and asks for Daniel to come back to his senses since Hoaqin is just using him to help himself resurrect. However, Daniel states once more that he's ok with being used if it means that his actions will be able to bring Roen back to life.

Daniel asks Sachi a question in return if he remembers back to Roen's last moments before she died. That she looked back at the team giving everyone a smile dying to protect everyone. Daniel states that if he was able to turn back time, he would have stopped her at that moment from sacrificing herself to save everyone else. He also reveals how ever since Roen died, the thought of her has never been able to leave his mind. Daniel makes it clear to Sachi that he has no choice in the matter, because his current self can't live without Roen.

Looking at Boro and Aka as well, Daniel calls out his three former teammates that they all obviously feel the same. The proof being that they all continue to roam around the Hell Train, because they miss Roen just as much as him. Daniel points out how Sachi has made a name for himself as a Ticket Hunter who kills anyone that approaches the express. He switches over to Aka calling him out as the greedy king of Train City that gathers allies to challenge the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_34.jpg
Daniel calls out his old teammates for all feeling guilt towards Roen's death

Daniel also points out how Boro has been playing as a teacher to lead newcomers to the express. He calls them out for all using these excuses to stay connected to the Hell Train. Daniel continues to call out his old teammates claiming that they're all still here because they feel guilty about Roen's death, and have been missing her ever since. He then prepares a Living Creature Bang prepared to fight his old teammates. Daniel explains how the guilt over Roen's death has made them all ghosts who can't ever leave the train. That the only answer to ever be free is to bring Roen back to life.

Meanwhile, Khun and Yura clash attacks atop their respective team's lighthouses between Hoaqin's platform, and the platform staircase. Backing off to re-establish himself, Khun admits that Yura has proven herself as someone from the Great Ha Family, but points out that she's just average, and not one of the stronger members. He then asks Yura why she would choose to side with FUG despite already being such a famous Regular, which she answers that it's because she wants to become a real star.

Khun remains confused by the answer, which Yura explains that she was nothing more than a fake throughout all the years she worked as an idol singer. She continues on pointing out how at first, she was satisfied with how others looked at her singing and dancing the way wanted her to.

Pointing towards Hoaqin, Yura asks Khun to look at him. she describes the Slayer Candidate as someone who doesn't get swayed by anything, and chooses to reign over everything. She asks if Khun sees the confident look he's been displaying, and asks if he considers it beautiful. Seeing the crazed happy face on Hoaqin during his fight with Bam, Khun answers that all he sees is a mad man.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_35.jpg
Khun knocks Yura off Rachel's lighthouse

Yura explains how Rachel had promised her that if she helps Rachel climb the tower, she will let Yura see the real stars. She states to Khun that she's sick of always been swayed by stupid morons controlling her life, and that the last concert she plans to perform on the Hell Train will finally sweep all the idiots away. Yura claims that it will be at the moment that she will become a real star.

Khun replies back that he has no idea what she's talking about, but he asks for her to retire from her idol ork this instance since she keeps getting in their way. Yura sees Khun's three lighthouses surrounding her suspecting he's going to try to trap her in a lighthouse field. She reminds Khun that shinsu usage doesn't work against her thanks to the shinsu-blocking ability of her luggage carrier item. However, Khun informs her that he already knows this, and what he's actually been aiming for is Rachel's lighthouse that the idol has been riding on this whole time.

The shocked Yura realizes that she messed up as Khun's lighthouses blast Rachel's lighthouse; knocking Yura off it. Khun calls the falling Yura stupid for not realizing such an obvious weak point as Danhwa calls out to her hoping she will survive the fall. Boro, however, holds Danhwa back claiming that if he jumps after her, he will also end up dying from the fall.

Back to the platform staircase, Daniel yells at Sachi not to get in his way since bringing back Roen is the only way to free themselves from the Hell Train. Daniel then sends a blast of Living Creature shinsu towards Boro and company, but is deflected away by Sachi. A piece of Daniel's shinsu blast that was deflected away almost hits Khun who complains that their noisy fight almost caused him to fall off his lighthouse. Sachi, realizing that Daniel is using Living Creature shinsu, is left wondering if Daniel has fallen to the point of using a forbidden power.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_36.jpg
Bam believing that he figured something out concerning Hoaqin's sword

Meanwhile, the duel between Bam and Hoaqin continues. Seeing Bam completely exhausted, Hoaqin asks if this is all the new Slayer Candidate has. Hoaqin taunts Bam that while the boy has displayed an interesting spontaneous power, it's not as good as he expected for a Slayer Candidate. He also points out how he's noticed that Bam still doesn't seem to have full control over the Thorn. Hoaqin asks for Bam to tell him what the boy has that makes him qualified to be FUG's newest Slayer Candidate.

Bam remains silent trying to come up with an answer in his head as to why he can't read how Hoaqin's sword moves. Bam deduces that there should definitely be a limit to how Hoaqin uses his massive sword, but is confused as to why it moves around as if it has no shape. Bam thinks about how it will sometimes feel like it's going to come at him from the right, but would suddenly appear on the other side of him. The same is said for strikes that he believes would come from above or down below, but the opposite ends up happen. The movement is as if Hoaqin's sword is a ghost that can't be read.

Continuing to think it over, Bam concludes that no matter what he thinks of, there's no blind spot. However, that very fact draws his attention. Bam wonders if perhaps the sword isn't actually a sword at all, but is actually an area Hoaqin is using to control shinsu. Believing that he's on to something, Bam continues to think it over wondering if such a case is even possible. Pointing his massive sword towards Bam, Hoaqin asks if it's about time for his fight with Jue Viole Grace to end.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_37.jpg
Bam and Hoaqin about to land the deciding blow on one another

Hoaqin states that he's now interested in finding out how the higher-ups within FUG will react if they find out that he defeated the newest Slayer Candidate they picked out. Rachel continues to watch the fight in silence as Hoaqin claims that soon enough, the idiots in FUG will realize that only he is best suited to be the next FUG Slayer. Hoaqin also states that he will be sure to kill Viole's captured comrades he came across on the Hell Train, which grabs Bam's attention. Hoaqin asks for Bam not to worry about his comrades since they will be his company in death soon enough. Bam is left wondering if the hostages Hoaqin is planning to kill are Wangnan and Ehwa as Hoaqin prepares to throw his sword down on Jue Viole Grace; claiming that this is the end for the new Slayer Candidate. Khun tries to hurry over to Bam to support him, but Rak calls out to the blue turtle to warn him that Yura Ha has reappeared behind Khun ready to stab him from behind.

Bam readies himself to counter Hoaqin's sword swing as he thinks back to how his actions recently have put everyone in danger. He charges forward ready to punch Hoaqin, but at this point, the current fights are suddenly interrupted by the Hell Train captain. Within his Hell Train Conductor office, the captain states that the Regulars outside the express have been greeting one another long enough. Pressing a button on his chair, the Hell Train Conductor asks for the two Slayer Candidates, Bam and Hoaqin, to stop messing around as a mass teleportation occurs that results in everyone outside the Hell Train being affected.

    Train Conductor Pedro's Game Announcement

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_38.jpg
The captain interrupts the fight by mass teleporting everyone into the Hell Train

Feeling the effects of the mass teleportation surprises all the Regulars as everyone that was fighting right outside the Hell Train is teleported into it. They all suddenly reappear outside the Conductor's Office. The Regulars look around in confusion as the Hell Train captain greets the D-ranker kids, welcoming them all to the Hell Train.

Meanwhile, Wangnan and Ehwa are seen running through a Hell Train hallway after cutting their hostage ropes loose using the White Heavenly Mirror. Ehwa asks Wangnan what they're supposed to do now despite being free, which Wangnan answers that they should probably return to trying to get Hwaryun away from Team Rachel.

He also points out that the huge tremor that hit the Hell Train earlier was most likely a sign that Viole has made it to the express. Wangnan states to Ehwa that if they're going to defeat that monster, Hoaqin, they will need all the help they can get. Suddenly, Wangnan and Ehwa hear a voice calling out to the two of them from behind.

Wangnan and Ehwa turn around asking who's calling out to them as a white haired boy carrying a book is seen walking up to them. The white haired boy explains that he's been lost in the Hell Train since it's been a long time since he's last been outside. He asks for Wangnan and Ehwa to lead him to the exit.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_39.jpg
Wangnan and Ehwa run into a Hoaqin look-alike aboard the Hell Train

The sight of the white haired boy shocks Wangnan and Ehwa believing it to be Hoaqin as the boy states that helping him out would be a great honor for them. Wangnan calls the white-haired boy as Hoaqin, which surprises the latter hearing that Wangnan and Ehwa have met another part of him. Wangnan and Ehwa remain confused by what the white-haired boy meant by that, which the boy explains that this turned out as a good result for him since he happens to also be looking for Hoaqin.

The white-haired boy asks for Wangnan and Ehwa to lead him to Hoaqin believing that the two of them are henchmen of the Slayer Candidate, which leaves Wangnan struggling to say anything further trying to explain the real situation. Giving off a grin, the white-haired boy asks once more for them to lead him to Hoaqin since it's most likely the case that Hoaqin is looking for him as well.

Meanwhile outside the Hell Train's Conductor Office, the captain is seen sitting in his chair looking at Bam and company as the Regulars look around in confusion trying to figure out what's going on after being mass teleported into the express. Hwaryun is teleported to the area as well having still been inside the Hell Train, and notices that Viole had made it to the express. The captain gives his greeting to the Regular children, and welcomes them once more into the Hell Train. He explains how he noticed that they were making quite a fuss outside his Hell Train, and asks if they believe they were going a bit too far considering that there's two FUG Slayer Candidates amongst the group.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_40.jpg
The Hell Train Conductor introduces himself as Karaka's subordinate, Pedro

Khun notices how the person speaking to them knew of how Bam was once a part of FUG as their newest Slayer Candidate, and begins to wonder if the guy is perhaps also a member of FUG. Daniel remains confused as to who's talking to them, which the Hell Train captain apologizes to the group of Regulars for his late introduction. The Hell Train Conductor introduces himself as a Ranker named Pedro, and warns the group that he also happens to be a loyal follower of the Great FUG Slayer, Karaka, which shocks Bam and company.

The group of Regulars all realize the danger they're in hearing that a Ranker aboard the Hell Train is an underling for a FUG Slayer. Khun concludes that his fear just now was correct, putting together that the Hell Train Conductor has been working for FUG this entire time. Hearing Karaka's name mentioned, Khun also remembers back to how it was said FUG Slayer's overall plan that tried to melt Bam into the Thorn back at the Workshop Battle.

Hwaryun thinks over the current situation, and wonders if the Ranker that introduced himself just now is the rumored Pedro the Death Eye. She then thinks about Pedro's mention of being a Karaka's loyal subordinate controlling the Hell Train from behind the scenes, and wonders if this means that Pedro is helping Team Rachel wake Hoaqin up. Hwaryun also wonders if this is perhaps all a trap to keep Viole stuck here, but knows that overall, this is not a good situation they're in now. A moment later, Bam notices that Hwaryun is now in the room, which causes the guide to greet him back, but is left annoyed that it took Viole this long to notice her.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_41.jpg
Pedro announces that a game will be played between the two Slayer Candidates

Pedro turns his attention to Hoaqin, and mentions how he's heard about him, but is only just now getting to see the Slayer Candidate in person. The captain points out how Hoaqin is much smaller than he was imagining, which enrages Hoaqin claiming that he will grow again soon enough. Pedro then gets back to the main topic, and once more welcomes both of FUG's Slayer Candidates to the Hell Train.

The captain mentions how it turned into a very unusual situation to have two Slayer Candidates qualified to become FUG Slayers showing up at the same spot. However, Pedro mentions how it's not going to last for long since one of them will be dropping out of the FUG Slayer race soon enough. Pedro states that the reason one will be dropping out is because there can only be one Slayer Candidate in this era that will be built up to be the next FUG Slayer. With two Slayer Candidates standing before him, Pedro asks the Regulars if they should use this chance to play a game. Pedro explains that the game will be what decides who amongst Hoaqin and Viole will be the one to become the true Slayer Candidate, which surprises everyone.

Elsewhere within the Hell Train, Angel and Buelsar are seen having been teleported to another location of the express. The two of them question what just happened considering that they were originally on their way out to rejoin Hoaqin outside the Hell Train.

Looking around, the two of them wonder where they ended up as Buelsar notes that this situation just got annoying since they can't use their Pocket within the Hell Train to contact their other teammates. He informs Angel that they can't help it now, and should just get going in the hopes of eventually coming across the rest of Team Rachel, which Angel agrees with.

At another location within the Hell Train, Team Bero is seen having been mass teleported into the Hell Train along with Rak, who fell to their location at the Wooden Horse station earlier. Rak gets up wondering what the hell just happened as Bero informs him that they seem to have made it onto the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_42_1.jpg
Rak gets teleported into the Hell Train alongside Team Bero

Bero then asks Rak what's been going on here, figuring that the people who came with the alligator have something to do with this. Rak replies to the fatso turtle that she shouldn't be asking him since he doesn't know either, which Bero finds to be bullshit knowing that things became crazy the moment his group showed up at the Wooden Horse station. Bero points out that Rak and company were a suspicious bunch back at the Train City tournament, and just like then, they've been moving about suspiciously. She asks once more who the hell Rak and company are, which irritates Rak knowing that he ended up on the Hell Train with a very noisy person.

Before Bero could attempt to continue questioning, Cherry La, the pink girl teammate floating on a pillow, informs the group that she can sense people coming this way. Bero asks what Cherry means by that as the pink girl lifts her head to look in the direction of the two coming towards them. Seeing Angel and Buelsar in the distance, Cherry warns the group that the two people coming towards them appear to be strong.

Back at the Conductor Office, Hoaqin remains confused by Pedro's mention of a game, and asks what he means that only one of them will be chosen as a Slayer Candidate. Hoaqin also asks Pedro why the Ranker is going this route since this isn't what Pedro promised him at an earlier time. He reminds Pedro that the original purpose of Team Rachel being here was solely to reawaken his true form.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc44_43.jpg
Pedro informs Hoaqin that not everyone within FUG wishes to see him resurrect

Pedro answers Hoaqin that he never made such a promise, and that the only reason Team Rachel is here is because he happens to be a fan of the idol singer, Yura Ha. Turning his attention to the idol, Pedro explains that the only reason he's using his power to act as the Hell Train Conductor is to help her perform the final concert that she wishes to perform here. Pedro also states that this has all just been one crazy act of a single Ranker (talking about himself).

In the end, Pedro informs Hoaqin that there was never any official plan to help Hoaqin resurrect back to his original form, and states that whatever happens from here on out will not have the Train Conductor included. The answer shocks Hoaqin, who asks if Pedro has any respect for a senior. Putting together pieces of information in the conversation between Ranker Pedro and Hoaqin, Khun finds it odd how the Slayer Candidate is talking about resurrection despite the fact that he already looks awake. Khun concludes that resurrecting someone who's already awake makes no sense, and questions what else could possibly be at work here.

The conversation between Pedro and Hoaqin continues as the Train Conductor explains that a part of FUG's goal was indeed to rule over the Hell Train in order to help him resurrect. However, it turned out that not everyone in FUG was in favor of his resurrection. Pedro asks if Hoaqin understands that at this point in time, there are other FUG Elders and Slayers within the organization that are putting pressure on the people who wish to see Hoaqin resurrect. He warns Hoaqin that they're currently in a situation where even if they wish to help Hoaqin resurrect, they must play fair under the rules of a game so that the FUG members pressuring Hoaqin's side backs off for now.

Pedro takes several of Bam's comrades captive to force him to play the game

Hoaqin continues to remain silent as Pedro explains that helping Hoaqin has currently given FUG two options. They can either go along with Hoaqin, who's currently still in a weakened split condition, or they can go along with Jue Viole Grace, who has proven to be a more beneficial Slayer Candidate considering that he now wields the Thorn. The mention that Hoaqin is in a split condition catches Khun's attention learning that Hoaqin is just one piece of many.

Finally deciding to speak, Bam apologizes for interrupting, but informs Pedro that he's already resigned from being FUG's Slayer Candidate, and doesn't intend on returning to the organization. As a result, Bam doesn't see a reason as to why he has to participate in this game. Pedro replies that he knew Bam was going to tell him this, but he reminds Bam that as long as he has possession of the Thorn, he holds all of FUG's hopes on his back. Pedro informs Bam that his only other option if he doesn't want to be a Slayer Candidate is to be melted down in a furnace to become a weapon similar to what FUG tried to do to him at the Workshop Battle, but figures that Bam is someone that doesn't actually wish for such a case to happen.

Pedro informs Bam that since he knew Viole was going to react this way not wanting to take part in the game, he went ahead and captured a few guys that were wandering around the Hell Train. The revelation that Pedro captured a few people confuses Bam and company as Akraptor, Miseng, Prince, Blarode, and Quaetro, are seen mass teleporting into a massive cage above Pedro and the Regulars. The confused Prince looks around noting how something about this is off considering that he was just in the floating ship that transported the group to the Wooden Horse seconds ago. Seeing Bam and company below him, Prince calls out to them wondering what's going on.

Pedro gives Bam and Hoaqin a month to prepare for his Hell Train game

Bam recognizes the voice, and quickly realizes that Pedro went about capturing some of his comrades to force him to play the game. Blarode is seen checking on the metal bars of the cage, and is left annoyed knowing that they won't seem to break easily. Pedro threatens Bam by stating that if he gives up, or loses this upcoming game, all five of his comrades within the cage will die.

He sees that Bam's attention is focused on him now as Pedro informs the boy that he will have the right to choose if he comes out the winner of his game. Now that the stakes have been established, Pedro figures that it's about time to start the Slayer Candidate Selection Game.

All of the Regulars continue to look at Pedro as the Train Conductor states that they will be provided the next month to prepare for the game. He explains that once the Hell Train arrives at the 38th Floor station, the game will officially begin. However, Pedro also gives the Regulars a warning that while one team will have the official Slayer Candidate, all of the losers will end up dying.

Returning to Wangnan and Ehwa's Hell Train location, the two of them slowly walk behind the white kid they just met. Wangnan asks Ehwa what they're supposed to do since he promised the white kid without properly thinking it over that he would take him to Hoaqin. He also asks if the white kid bought the lie that they're Hoaqin's henchmen, which Ehwa figures that he must have considering that they're still alive.

Wangnan then points out how this person seems to be another Hoaqin, and figures that this means he obviously isn't going to be on their side. In the end, Wangnan informs Ehwa that given the little they know about the white kid, he isn't feeling good about any of this. Wangnan questions what exactly is going to happen if this white kid and Hoaqin end up meeting one another. Stating that he's feeling hungry, the white kid's stomach growls in pain.
