Kevin, Paul, and Winnie try to stop plans to turn Harper Woods, where they all used to play at as kids, into a mall.

- Bittersweet Ending: Kevin, Paul, and Winnie fail to keep the woods from being torn down, but decide to play there for one last time. When the mall is later built, the three place their initials into the sidewalk, similar to the one big tree where their initials had been.
- Big Brother Bully: When Jack yells at Kevin, Wayne silently laughs at Kevin from behind Jack's back.
- You Are Grounded!: Kevin gets grounded after going to the principal's office and carving his initials into his desk.
