The episode begins with future Kevin talking about a recurring series of nightmare's he's been having, in which he's in a cave, and always ending with him being embarrassed in math class. Meanwhile, Kevin is jealous over Winnie and Kirk's relationship, feeling like she's abandoned him and Paul in favor of hanging out with the cool crowd. Kevin and Paul decide to start hanging out with troubled student Gary, who invites them to camp out with him. While camping, Gary introduces his new friends to cigarettes and beer, then tells them of a nearby cave they can explore, making Kevin nervous. After the experience, Kevin and Paul stop hanging out with Gary. The next day, Winnie talks with Kevin and Paul. Her contacts have broke, requiring her to wear glasses, and they claim that she looks better with glasses.
