After losing a game of Smurfball due to his distraction with the mirror, Vanity walks away into the forest. Meanwhile, Gargamel and Azrael set up a magic mirror to trap Smurfs. The moment Vanity walks into the mirror, he is trapped forever with scary creatures. Hearing of Vanity's disappearance, Smurfette warns Papa Smurf that he hasn't been around since yesterday. Brainy, Clumsy and Smurfette were sent to find Vanity by entering the magic mirror. Following the destruction of the mirror and a quick return to the village, Gargamel has failed to capture them and bangs himself into a tree repeatedly, with Azrael doing the same.
