Go To

Rico is excited about a new line of princess accessories for his doll. When he causes trouble in pursuit of these new accessories, the rest of the team figure out a way to keep him in line.

Tropes:

  • Ax-Crazy: If you thought Rico was insane in Kaboom and Kabust, his excitement at the new range of Ms Perky products and his rage mode over her loss makes that episode look like a walk in a park and positively fluffy in comparison. At the beginning of the episode, he nearly gets himself and his team killed when they're trying to dispose of a thermonuclear sardine bomb by driving to the toy store when he first finds out about the line (fortunately, they all miraculous survived because. according to Skipper, the one invention that Kowalski makes that is deliberately invented to kill them all is the only one that's harmless). Halfway in the episode, he works himself into a literally explosive hype and excitement over the ad and tries to clamp himself to the TV, briefly losing all sense of self control his team tried to teach him in the process. Not long after when the lemurs get involved and steal Rico's Ms. Perky, he runs into the room babbling at the top of his voice, destroys all of Kowalski's equipment, flips the whole table and sends everyone flying, smashed the marble jar and threw them around for a bit; then at the toy store, knocks a outward-opening drawbridge inward with a mallet, then proceeds to tear apart the male doll with his flippers and beak and threatens Julien with the doll's leg. As Maurice put it, that's just disturbing.
  • Good Behavior Points: When Rico's obsession for the new Princess Miss Perky accessories nearly gets the penguins killed by their thermonuclear sardine bomb, he is put under marble jar probation, where he receives marbles when he behaves well and has them taken out of a jar when he misbehaves. Once it's full, he'll get the accessories. While he causes mischief like destroying Private's house of cards, he soon compensates for them like building a bigger one with regurgitated cards. After he battles Julien when he believes that the doll was kidnapped by the penguins, the jar is emptied, but he vomits dynamite to blow up jars of marbles in the store to fill up his and ultimately receives the reward.
  • Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds: Rico was in charge of driving the Penguins' car to dispose of the sardine bomb, but when he sees the new Princess Miss Perky merchandise, he gets so obsessed with getting new accessories that he completely forgets about disposing the bomb and doesn't care if the other penguins would get killed it.
Skipper: You dolly crazed maniac! This can goes, we all go with it!!
    Rico: I don't care!
  • No One Could Survive That!: Because of Rico's actions, all the penguins get caught in the explosion, However they all survive because, As Skipper points out, every single invention Kowalski has built has a tendency to blow up everything in a 5 mile radius, except the radioactive sardine bomb that is built to do precisely that.
