Go To

Some of the Dunder-Mifflin crew are ready to open the Sabre store at Tallahassee while Andy has hit by a fifth-grade girl and is afraid to admit it.

Airdate: March 1st, 2012

Tropes:

  • The Cameo: Tig Notaro as Tiffany's mother.
  • Captain Obvious: Jim tells Ryan that he seems nervous, to which Ryan yells "No shit, Sherlock!"
  • Dumbass Has a Point: Everyone laughs at Andy for getting a black eye from a young girl and from Kelly, but he points out that both times it happened because he stood up to defend someone else who was being attacked, and that should matter more than who he was struck by.
  • Dressing as the Enemy: Erin infiltrates the hipsters with her outfit.
  • Emotional Regression: In one of his biggest points of flanderization, Ryan gets a humongous case of stage fright over a relatively simple presentation.
  • Epic Fail: Jim is considered one by the bloggers for using his own cellphone instead of the Sabre Arrowhead hooked to his belt.
  • Groin Attack: It's All About The Groin.
  • Ironic Echo: "Sabre, it's time to come home." Ryan is supposed to remember the phrase, but eventually came home.
  • I Was Beaten by a Girl: Andy gets punched in the face by a teenage girl named Tiffany and later by Kelly.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Ryan's nerves eventually get the better of him, and he ditches the presentation to take a bus back to Scranton and see his mom.
  • Shout-Out: The Sabre Store has a banner inside claiming that TV's Chuck uses Sabre products. Apparently, one of Dwight's initials plans involved Jim pretending to be Chuck.
  • That Came Out Wrong: Toby teaches the phrase "strike, scream and run" and says "Alright, let's try it." Creed proceeds to strike Meredith, scream at her and run outside the room.
