This review contains examples of:
- Call-Back: "Time for a game of disappearing bears!", first used in the Care Bears 2 review.
- Deceased Parents Are the Best: Critic says that losing a parent in a movie was really hard before Disney turned it into a "common fad". His statement is accompanied by a picture of a ditch with the sign "Dump Dead Disney Parents Here!".
- Dude, Not Funny!: Critic describes the scene where one of the poachers teases the polar bear cub with the skin of its dead mother as this.Critic: It's like putting on a cute little puppet show at your great aunt's funeral... WITH YOUR GREAT AUNT!
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: Critic shows a list of possible ways for the mother to have died. Among the funnier ones are "Beaten to death over a stamp", "Executed by Colombian drug lords", "iron maiden" and "Eaten by polar bear".
- Obligatory Joke: After his catchphrase, The Critic begins the review with, "Sarah Palin is stupid," simply because the movie he's about to review is called Alaska.
"I WANT that BEAR!"
