Film: Drop Dead Fred (1991)
This review contains examples of:
- Alternative Character Interpretation: Invoked. The Critic puts suspenseful horror music to the movie and it completely changes the tone of the film.Critic: Okay, I'm convinced. This was meant to be a horror film, a horror film about a young woman who suffers from insanity in the form of a psychotic serial killer. I mean, watch this scene with different music and tell me you don't get freaked out! (theme from The Omen (1976) plays over a scene) Yeah! Fucking spooky, isn't it?
- Overly Long Gag: The Critic repeatedly saying "No" in various inflections to a line from the movie (see The Stinger).
- Shout-Out: The Critic wonders if the movie ends with "I always depended on the kindness of strangers."
- The line "No more wire hangers!" is used for Kate's mother.
"You're crazy in the most wonderful way!"
