Gopher mounts a mission to build "the Ultimate Tunnel", and it spells disaster for Rabbit since Gopher plans to dig it right through his property.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes.
- Bittersweet Ending: Rabbit eventually is forced to give in and allow Gopher to dig through his garden, but he learns that Gopher truly had no ill intentions and instead wanted to honor Rabbit by building the tunnel in his home. Gopher ultimately spares Rabbit’s garden from the carnage… but Rabbit’s house isn’t so lucky.
- Butt-Monkey: Once again, Rabbit since Gopher refuses to deviate from digging through his home.
- Early-Bird Cameo: In this episode, Gopher's Grandpappy only appears via flashback. He would later have a larger role in "To Dream the Impossible Scheme".
- Friendship Moment: Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger all helped Rabbit dig an irrigation ditch to help water his garden before the episode starts.
