This episode has examples of

  • Chicken Joke: In the Swedish Chef sketch, the literal spring chickens the Chef is planning to cook escape backstage, with him chasing after them. Immediately after, Fozzie goes up to a stressed Kermit and starts to ask, "Why did the chickens cross the road?" Kermit answers, "Because an angry Swede was chasing them with a cleaver!" and leaves to go introduce the final number. Fozzie remarks to himself that that's not the punchline, before realising that Kermit's is better.
  • Oh, Crap!: This time the Newsman gets a little warning before something gets dropped on him; after reporting on the falling price of beef, he hears mooing from above, just enough time for him to go, "Oh, no!"
  • Toros y Flamenco: The "Your Cheatin' Heart" number is set in Spain and features Melissa performing a flamenco cover of the song dressed in a red, tiered dress, with Link Hogthrob playing her unfaithful matador boyfriend.

Statler: Watch out!
Waldorf: Oh!
[A Teeterini lands in the box. Waldorf waves a White Flag.]
