Lobanov tries to find a place where he can drink booze without being busted by Bykov... only to get busted by Kupitman. Kupitman hides him in his office, but makes a mistake of leaving him alone, and now drunk Lobanov (who knows about Bykov and Kisegach) walks around the hospital. Semyon actually does tell the secret to Gleb, but Gleb doesn't believe him, thinking that it's just drunk nonsense.
Romanenko fears that Varya (despite looking perfectly normal on surface) is secretly deeply hurt by their breakup; her behaviour seemingly confirms it. But ultimately turns out that she's perfectly fine, and no longer needs him.
