** Killer Frost reveals that she can come out when Caitlin is asleep and appears to be a separate identity. Felicity is quick to point out how this is just like ''Comicbook/IncredibleHulk''.

* StrawFeminist: Joanie likes ''Series/DoctorWho''...but ''only'' since the 13th, female Doctor was announced. Also, it turns out she's a stripper... for research purposes. Needless to say, [[Administrivia/RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgment sex work is a controversial subject among feminists]].

* RealityEnsues:
** Team Flash's search for [=DeVoe=] has thus far come up empty because they don't know his first name and "[=DeVoe=]" is a rather common family name.
** A senior CCPD officer and a CSI landing in jail for being in the center of [[BarBrawl a disturbance]]. Not to mention that Joe gets possibly kayoed when he tried to defuse the situation, and Barry is in a drunk stupor, so they can't explain themselves out of it. And getting Barry to explain in the state he is in would probably put them in bigger trouble.

* FailedASpotCheck: For some reason, the CCPD don't seem to notice that the man who came to get Barry, Cisco, Joe and Ralph looked an ''awful lot'' like Harrison Wells, the man who formerly owned S.T.A.R. Labs and reportedly killed Barry's mother. It's probably [[JustifiedTrope justified]] if Harry is wearing a holographic disguise so only Team Flash can see him in his true aspect, as it happened with H.R., but this is never clarified.

** After they set Weeper free, he tells the girls to get away from him and runs off. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], as he had been enslaved by a meta for weeks and had his tears forcibly harvested, then caught up in a meta vs. meta fight.

* GoneHorriblyRight: For his bachelor party gift to Barry, Cisco finally cooked up a concoction that not even the Flash's hypermetabolism would dissolve in an instant. It worked ''too'' well: Barry was completely hammered for most of the episode. PlayedForLaughs.

* LimitedSocialCircle: Both bachelor(ette) parties are composed exclusively of Team Flash members, Cecile and Felicity. It's more noticeable on Iris' side, since what are apparently her closest female companions are a "work friend" that both acknowledge isn't exactly a close relationship, her dad's girlfriend, and an acquaintance that had to be borrowed from another show.

* MaleGaze: Joanie believes that by being a stripper, she can research this, and in the end she can control it, ''"as an empowered young woman."''

* NotWorthKilling: After Amunet is disarmed, Caitlin forms an icicle and menacingly approaches her. Iris manages to convince her to let Amunet go.

** Felicity when mentioning that the majority of marriages end in divorce, to a soon-to-be married Barry.
