The Life of a Wild Card or Two (Tokyo and Inaba, Wednesday Morning)
Kenzo rouses from his sleep and, after getting dressed, heads for his kitchen to eat breakfast. His parents, Shizuko and Yoshito, voice their concerns about his activities, but he promises to let them know everything once he returns from his class trip. Light-hearted chaos soon follows as Kenzo's siblings join him and their parents for breakfast.
On the train to their class's destination, Kenzo shares a little about his family with Shen and Arisu, the latter strangely less talkative during the conversation. The trio then hears the speakers announcing their arrival at Inaba, leaving Kenzo to tell Arisu they will discuss her issues later. As they, the other students, and Kawakami get off their train, Yu shows up on a motorcycle, having volunteered to be their guide during their stay.
A while later, the students fire several questions at Yu. Briefly summoning Izanagi-no-Okami, the Persona-user soon ends the inquiries and leads the students to Tatsumi Textiles, where Kanji greets them. After the younger man shares strong advice with the class, Yu guides them to the Samegawa Flood Plain, where they decide to stop for lunch.
Kenzo, Shen, and Arisu split from their classmates to talk with Yu. Following introductions, they discuss the Metaverse and Shadows while Yu shares the experiences that the Investigation Team has gone through in their younger days. The older Persona-user then offers his phone number to Kenzo, who bumps into someone as he takes out his phone and apologizes. The person tells him not to worry about it before she and her partner walk away. Kenzo quickly realizes that the pair had robbed him and begins pursuing them.
