Pains Unleashed
Joker, Queen, and Morgana summon their Personas first, using their most powerful skills on Eris, who effortlessly shrugs them off and retaliates with a curse spell. Minako joins the fray, calling on Penelope to heal her allies, while Sho charges toward Eris. The Shadow knocks him away and revitalizes herself from the damage. Oracle informs the Persona-users to break the cage Rumi is in to stop Eris from healing herself. Thanks to Maruki, Aigis, and Labrys's distraction, Morgana cuts the cage's bars before everyone unleashes their spells on Eris, severely fatiguing her.
The Shadow retaliates with Gravity magic, even knocking out Sho with a Nuclear skill. She attempts to strike Morgana, only to get flanked by a few spells. Wolf and Akihiko arrive, during which Queen explains what they need to do. After another exchange of attacks between the Persona-users and Eris, Labrys finally weakens the cage, allowing Akihiko to destroy it and rescue Rumi. Now finding herself cornered, Eris begins taunting the Persona-users when a voice interrupts her.
As Minako steps forward, Eris mocks her with the knowledge of her pain from spending years under the care of her heartless relatives. Minako tells the Shadow to shut up, declaring that she will bring her brother back from the Abyss of Time. Then, a voice sounds in Minako's mind, allowing her to change to Phantom Class while her Persona reawakens as Gerda. Minako knocks over Eris with a Water spell, spurring the other Persona-users to attack all at once, finally defeating the Shadow.
Eris disappears, leaving behind Rumi's Shadow. She thanks the Persona-users for freeing her and reassures Maruki before returning to her host. Joker tells Maruki to take Rumi home, with Queen offering to escort them to avoid drawing more attention from people. Joker drags Sho over to meet with the others, commenting on Minako's new attire. Skull and Panther finally arrive to see that the battle is over, while Joker tells Wolf and Akihiko to explain the truth to the public. Afterward, the Persona-users go their separate ways.
The news of the battle against Eris reaches Shujin, causing the students to gossip about what happened. Kenzo, Shen, and Arisu make their way to the courtyard, where the Wild Card shows his friends some Spellstone and explains their properties, attack ranges, and purposes. After packing the Spellstone, Kenzo exchanges contact info with Shen and Arisu.
Kenzo returns to Kojima Blacksmithing, upon which Kojima gives out basics on what to do and rules to follow around the shop. Kojima then fetches a pair of blades for Kenzo to purchase while offering him the chance to become his apprentice. Kenzo accepts, allowing him to initiate the Strength Confidant.
